For the price and flavor it was so worth it. I got two meals out of mine. I got the gyro platter and it probably was one of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time. I thought the chicken was seasoned and flavorful. But by far, the best part was the white sauce. I would pair it with the mango lassi and it was such a great explosion of flavors - both savory and sweet. I will say they ask whether you're okay with onions and raisins in your platter. I liked them but I know raisins might not be what most people prefer to add to their rice. Service was fast. You can either order at the front table or at your seat. They got the food in a reasonable amount of time. The place looks small from the outside, but when you walk in, there's a back room worth of 30 people worth of seating. It's extremely cozy inside. There's also a parking lot right next to the restaurant and also across the street. The lot right next door is kinda small though, so you might need to loop around. Parking shouldn't be a problem and you can get a really good stop if you're lucky.

I've long let go of the ancient proverb about not judging a book by it's over... in this case by the strip shopping center it's located in. Diana, our director of first impressions and food guide for this dining experience was engaging, smiling and truly excited to converse with us about our Eastern European food experiences throughout the Bulstleton Ave-Philly region. We took a walk through discussion across the menu to understand preparations and which dishes were most recommended to keep ups wanting to come back. So many to select from. We did try a few plates to get the full experience. Opened with a bowl of Mastava soup - ground beef, rice, peppers, carrots and onions, delicous. Wish there were closer to home to pick up on cold days... that good. Next we had a plate of 4 manti's - dumplings with beef, lamb and onions (think of wonton dumpling with meat inside, no soup broth- that would be a soup dumpling). Next, we shared a bowl of plov - slow cooked rice, beef, lamb, carrot and onions. This dish I could have weekly it was that DELICIOUS! We did try one beef kabab, so tender and juicy. I also love Bronzino and could not pass it up. Whole bronzino grilled and in place of french fries the chef did me a solid... stewed tomates and grilled peppers to acompany the fish. If only I could do this at home on my grill... will try. Was delicious. We found a new restaurant to add into our rotation. See our food photos attached and follow me on Yelp for more tasty adventures. What a gem. Thank you Diana. BTW... no alchol (no BYOB) allowed. Parking lot. They do accept credit cards but with a small add on processing fee.

First of all, it's a family run business and they take pride in their food, restaurant and hospitality. My husband went to school at Drexel and has been coming to this restaurant (here and a different location) for a long time. The place is beautifully decorated and made you feel like you were eating in a restaurant in Afghanistan. Everyone is so warm and friendly. They're great representatives for their country, culture and food. We started with hummus which was creamy goodness and an amazing salad with the best dressing. My husband absolutely loved his Qurma Chalaw. The chicken, sauce and buttery rice were so flavorful! Absolutely loved my dumplings in a tasty red sauce. They were delectable and I'm still dreaming about them. Our friends loved their Sansom Kabob and said it was moist and flavorful. Next time we visit, we'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone we know who visits.

The staff was friendly and very prompt; the space was well curated and clean. We had the Ashak appetizer - yummy! We did thoroughly enjoy the bread that comes with the meal and my man LOVED the chutney - such a zesty lil kick to it! We split Chablee Kabob and Qurma Chalaw (chicken) - both were so flavorful. I particularly loved the Chablee, but the Qurma was very clearly made with love and reminiscent of a homemade comfort dish. We split the Finri for dessert - the perfect ending to a flavor-rich meal. Highly recommend.

Not only was the color / presentation top notch, but the taste nicely complimented the meat. In addition to our wraps, we opted for the falafel bites. There are 4 generous pieces with a nice portion of hummus in the middle. The spicy sauce has quite the kick! We enjoyed an authentic Turkish lime iced tea drink. Loved selecting from the imported drinks- gives it a foreign and fun feel. My favorite was the ambiance and Turkish music. The booths are set in chic cages and it feels like you have more privacy. The servers also bring the meal to your table- added plus for a mall food establishment. My only critique is the price. It is reasonable, but I expected a larger portion for the price charged. If it was a buck or two cheaper, I think the size of the wrap would match the cost. Because of this, I'd rank it a 4.5 / 5 stars. Overall, wonderful spot. Highly recommend!

It was quick, efficient, and mercifully free of small talk. A machine that doesn't pretend to care about your day is, in many ways, the most honest companion while still lacking the dismissiveness of the Gen Z stare. My sandwich arrived at the table shortly after, delivered by a human who didn't linger. We understood each other. I had the Pink Sultan. Chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, pickles, and a sauce the color of a polite sunset. I read that the sauce involves beets, which explains both the color palette and the faint suggestion that I was eating something that once grew in dirt and had ambitions. The sandwich was good. Not life changing, not tragic. The chicken was tender enough, the vegetables crisp, the flavors balanced in a way that suggested someone had made decisions and stuck with them. I drank a bottle of Turkish Uludag soda, which tasted like citrus with a hint of optimism. It whispered, "I'm like Fanta, but regional AND foreign, which of course makes me better." The place itself is clean and modern, with that fast casual confidence that says we take our ingredients seriously but not ourselves. They make a point of using fresh components and well seasoned meats that rotate slowly on a spit, absorbing flavor as time passes, much like the rest of us. Everything I ate was pretty good. That is not faint praise. In a world where many meals are often either regrettable or unforgettable, pretty good is a kind of victory. Four stars. The kiosk asked nothing of me, and the food delivered something in return.
