    Sam's combo

I love this type of food because it's so much better for you and fresher than going to any fast food resturaunt so I was really excited that a place like this opened so close to my work. What I loved. The place was very clean and the employees were very nice and welcoming. The food; the food was good. I got the falafel appetizer (since I never had it before) and the Sam's combo platter. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful and the rice was nice and fluffy. I enjoyed it. The platter wasn't very hot though. I was there as soon as it was done and the ride back to the office was about three minutes so I wasn't sure why the food wasn't very hot. What I didn't care for; they are pretty stingy on the white sauce . That makes the meal in my opinion and they use it sparingly and give you a very small container on the side. Any extra sauce will cost you $.50. The man working the counter was helping the woman in front of me who paid with cash. He then helped me and grabbed my pita bread with his unwashed cash hands. I wasn't a big fan of that. And the pita bread was not warm. It came from a bag like it was brought there from a different location. I was expecting it to be warm and fresh, but it wasn't. Overall, the food was decent, but I still will go to Gyro King in Glendora because the food there is great and they don't get cheap with the white sauce. I know this place just opened so I will give them some time to work out the issues and give it another try in a few months.

Must see real Middle East atmosphere and taste First time here I think I will be back

I've only ordered a few times, but have been pleased with everything that I did. Reasonable prices, good sized portions, and very tasty.

Atlantic Ave near the train tracks in Audubon. Their menu drew me in as they offer a wide selection of soups by the day as well as sandwiches, wraps, grilled cheese, burgers and hot dogs. Just think cozy comfort food. The inside has ample seating if you plan to dine in and a small counter in the rear to order out. I was greeted by a friendly young lady who was patient with me as I looked over the menu. I decided on a grilled cheese and green split pea soup. It was hard to decide because there were so many yummy looking choices. Service was quick and efficient. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Everyone was very pleasant. The grilled cheese was perfect! So delicious! The split pea soup w/ homemade croutons and tiny bits of ham throughout sure hit the spot on this cold winter day. The place was very clean and cozy and there was a bit of a lunch rush so they definitely have a good reputation. Would love to see them expand their footprint. We could use more places that offer simple comfort food at affordable prices in South Jersey. Can't wait to return to try another one of their soups...and a grilled cheese. ***Oh! This is a CASH ONLY establishment. Apparently they also accept Venmo.***

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

We had the cold sampler which was very tasty. I don't know everything I ate but I did enough most of them. The hummus was my favorite. I had the grilled sampler because I just couldn't decide on what to get and I was very happy with my decision. The salad was a nice fresh accompaniment to the meal. My favorite meat on the plate was the gyro - a mixture of beef and lamb that was seasoned so well I couldn't stop eating it. I would go back just for that alone. The rice was also surprising flavorful.

I have no idea what it was called, but the one that was slightly spicy and had a similar flavor to a Mexican salsa was a surprise and a delight. I loooooooved the fluffy bread that was served to the table. Fresh, steaming hot, and the perfect utensil for testing out the dips. I'm not sure what it was called - it wasn't a pita, I don't think, since it was much lighter. But 10/10, no notes, give me 14 of them. I was craving beef, so I went for the shish kebab. Hands down, one of the most memorable I've had in a very long time. So tender. I loved the perfectly grilled vegetables. I absolutely loved adored the rice - so well seasoned, light and fluffy. Finally, baklava. I would say this was my only disappointment. The serving was miniscule. Service was lovely.

The food took forever, which it usually does but we still go since we normally like the breakfast food. The burrito finally arrived after 30 minutes. The tacos my husband ordered took another 10 minutes. My husband was less than thrilled with flavorless soft tacos that took 40 minutes to make. We decided to provide feedback because we've been here many times and expected more. Again, we regretted this as well. I don't know why we bothered because no one knows how to take honest feedback anymore these days. The young boy who portrayed himself as the manager (was in fact the busboy) was dismissive and but did offer refund, which we declined since that's not the reason we provided feedback. He couldn't handle someone trying to tell them how to improve instead of asking for something for free. It's crazy how someone doesn't want money is still treated as difficult. Then my husband takes the time from his day to speak with owner. He thought he had a constructive conversation, only to find the owner goes straight into his kitchen in front of customers and tells the young boy what my husband said. So unprofessional! They have an open kitchen and this guy thinks it's a good idea to speak with your employee now??? Little did they know while they were trash talking my husband, instead of appreciating the fact that he wasn't asking for money and only wanted gave valuable constructive feedback from repeated customers, that they all chose to turn it around and call my husband a jerk. I did call out that they need to be more careful about how they speak about customers and it was quite interesting to see an entire kitchen and at least 5 customers in line speechless and in shock! As they should have been. Like the rest of society these days, no one knows how to behave and be professional anymore. I'm beyond embarrassed for the owner and anyone affiliated with this restaurant. Just downright pathetic!
