I have no idea why this company receives 5 star ratings. First of all, they arrived 3 hours late. The team of movers (2 males) and a truck were able to have my belongings moved, but throughout the move became slower and slower. From moving from my one apartment to 10 minutes away to my new location, total time was 7 hours. I've employed other moving companies in the past that had more efficiency, speed, and professionalism then these two movers had. 7 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment? Towards the end of the move I was actually getting very irritated with the way that they were moving so then I volunteer to help move my own stuff. Mind you these are a team of movers that I have employed in order to move my belongings so that I don't have to. But now they were moving so slowly that if I didn't help out I feared that they would be going into a longer time frame. When it came to check out I had one of the movers tell me, well you only helped for a half hour. I mean, I'm sorry, I hired you. I'm employing you right now. I shouldn't have to help at all. The total that I was originally quoted was $80 an hour if I am paying cash. They also forgot to mention that I would have to be paying an additional $80 in order to have them drive back. As I was paying with cash I only had $540 on me. Which I was not even expecting to use all of that money. I was apply to 5% discount for the late arrival, however it didn't do anything to ease the total cost. I would recommend another moving company that is more professional and is better equipped to handle the labor that these two gentlemen clearly did not have the capability of doing. I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth regarding the service that I received; especially with the money that I paid for it. I will never ever employ this company again. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else when needing assistance to move your belongings. read more

The moving process is already very irritating and tough, but moving out of state a full two bedroom apartment can make this process a real nightmare. After moving a lot of times I've learned one very important lesson...You need to hire the right moving company! This step can save you money, time and keep your nerve for other stressful situations that may appear during the move. Like I said I've moved my two bedroom apartment from Seattle, WA to Pittsburgh, PA. A lot of miles and a lot of work was completed by the guys from Keep Moving and I have to say that I was really impressed by the quality job that was done. I wanted to pick a rating between 4 and 5, but I am comfortable giving them a 4. Ruslan and his crew were our movers. Promptly before arriving, he gave us a call 30mins before time. - PUNCTUAL When they arrived, they started loading immediately. They told me they're taking a 5min break, and they were good about keeping it to only 5mins. - PROFESSIONAL They had to dis-assemble one of our day beds to make sure it could move out of the room. At the destination, they started unloading at a good pace as well. When it came to the bed, they spent quite some time (30+mins) trying to put it back. It's a complicated ikea bed, and we knew it won't be easy. Despite us telling them to let it be, and we can do it later following the manual they kept on trying. So the one thing I would suggest: 1. Time box such assembly/disassembly. If it goes beyond a certain time, let owners know and let them make the call. After all we ended up paying for the extra time spent on bed assembly. (Which we ended up doing ourselves later) Other than that, we noted a small chip in one of the pieces of furniture, a small scratch on the wall while moving but nothing major really that cannot be fixed. I've seen way worse in previous moves. Overall it took a bit longer than I anticipated due to the extra time spent on the bed, but I think the experience was pretty good with the Keep Moving Crew !! Their price was also pretty competitive. read more

I moved from a studio to a 1 bedroom, and including packing the total time was about 5.5 hours. Tips for the future: Book your elevator times consecutively (let's say 9-noon for move out and noon-3 for the building you are moving into) instead of overlapping them since having access to the freight elevator is critical to speed up the process. read more

My moving experience with Keep Moving was great! Ruslan, Medet, and Grisha were very fast and efficient. We had so much stuff to move, but they were able to utilize every inch of truck space. We were able to transport everything to our destination in one trip, saving us time and money. They were also experts in disassembling and assembling our furniture so that it fit in an out of the house easily. Hired this service for a few hours to unload our moving POD into our new apartment after moving across country. While I appreciated the responsiveness and ease in coordinating the moving labor I wasn't necessarily impressed with the laborers effort in general. They were relatively slow and frequently on their phones or taking a smoke break (not what your wanting to see when you pay per the hour). Hence we were helping move a lot of the smaller stuff ourselves to just speed up the effort. Outstanding service! Starting with my first call. I had a last minute, stressful situation. The movers were booked for the day I requested, but they squeezed me in anyway. Taylor, Tito and Mauricio (hope I remembered his name correctly), were professional, very conscious about their mask, friendly, knowledgeable and kick ass workers! They were more efficient then I was. I shared with Taylor my situation and many times over he said "no worries" and meant it. His reassurance helped me through a very difficult day. At close I spoke with the manager, and the care I was given, was extraordinary. We have moved 13 times and this moving service has been the best. Even at closing up the truck at the very end of the move, some know it all, was giving them a hard time about where they parked, and Taylor was very kind with his response to a rude woman. Absolute worst company I have ever used. We had the house 95% packed up and boxed. They eeee 1-2 hrs late to start with. Then it took them 6 hrs to load up the truck because they dawdled and repacked half our packing. That was boxed and taped. I only had a kitchen table with chairs, living room couch, TV and long Tv stand, tall book shelf, upright piano (charged extra $350 for), one smaller couch, tempurpedic bed set of drawers and a night stand. A few miscellaneous things were not packed but most everything else was. I didn't pack my hanging clothes as they usually have large boxes that you just hang the clothes in. Nope they didn't use the metal hanging piece and just tossed the clothes in. Broke a light and my toaster (that I've found so far). Wrapped mostly unnecessary things in plastic wrap, didn't put the boxes where I asked. Left a lot of stuff still at the house and told my cleaner I had said to leave it which I absolutely did not. Took 14 hrs and charged for 13 for their lunch break which they were going to charge for to start with for 3 guys and lots of smoke breaks. Dawdled and then packed all the house keys in that were left on the counter. Still looking for them. Absolutely don't recommend them. read more

Overall experience was great! Was scheduled weeks ahead of time and turned out to be on a day of a snowstorm. Despite the weather condition the crew has arrived on time. Val and Ian did a great job packing our belongings and protecting it from the elements.
