    I want to share my experience at Keffer Hyundai as a warning to anyone considering doing business here. I originally leased a 2024 Hyundai Elantra for $232/month on a 36-month term. While servicing my 2024 vehicle I was persuaded by the dealership to "upgrade" into a 2025 Elantra Sport, after they repeatedly assured me- verbally and during the sales pitch -- that the car included Bluelink/remote-connected features. That was completely false. The 2025 model I was sold does not include Bluelink at all. Once I discovered the truth, I immediately contacted Hyundai Consumer Affairs. To his credit, the General Manager, Felipe, reached out within two days and listened to my concerns. However, when I came back to the dealership to resolve the issue, the only option they offered left me absorbing over $6,000 in negative equity from their mistake. They were only willing to take a $1,600 loss, despite the fact that I was misled into trading in a perfectly fine leased vehicle based on inaccurate information. In the end, I was pushed into upgrading again - this time into a Hyundai Sonata- at a much higher cost. My monthly payment jumped from $232/month on my original 2024 Elantra to over $750/month, simply because the dealership sold me a car under false pretenses and then couldn't undo the damage since they had already sold my low-mileage lease. Yes, Felipe secured a low 1.99% APR, but that doesn't erase the financial fallout caused by the initial misrepresentation. This experience has been eye-opening and financially painful. It proves how quickly things can go wrong when a dealership prioritizes its own protection over transparency. Once you drive off the lot, even if you were misled, you're the one left holding the bag. I'm giving two stars only because management did respond- but the "solution" still left me thousands of dollars in the red. This entire experience has been unsettling and financially painful. It's a harsh reminder that once you drive off the lot, the dealership will ultimately protect its own interests, even when misleading information was involved. Based on my experience, I will definitely do my due dilligence before signing a deal with Keffer Hyundai or any dealership for that matter moving forward. Lesson harshly learned honestly and is hard to talked someone out of a lived experience at the end of the day!

    Yesterday I went to Keifer Hyundai off Independence in Charlotte to get an oil change and came away with a new car. I saw my previous salesperson Richard Tillman who sold me my 1st Hyundai. It was limited edition sonata and I loved it. My 1st Sonata was not purchased from Keifer, so to see a person that I trust was quite rewarding. I was able to get a 2025 Limited Edition Hyundai Sonata with all the features of my car but this car is a Hybrid. My car had so many miles but Ty, the Finance Director showed his skills and helped me keep my payment where I needed it to be and I got an amazing warranty with 4 free oil changes. I loved my 1st car but I know that I got a great deal because I trust Richard. He listened to me when I told him what I wanted. Shout out to his wife "you trained him well". LOL Some men do not always listen. He listened and provided quality and honest feedback. I am a retired school teacher and this should be my forever last car. But if I do decide to buy another car, I will definitely find Richard Tillman and purchase from him. Thank you Keifer Hyundai, Ty (Finance Director) and Richard Tillman.

    Drove almost 4 hours to look at a Sonata. Keffer Hyundai is a huge dealership. The showroom is very clean. My sales rep let me take it for a spin with no hassle. Everything felt right. My finance guy crunched the numbers and got em where I wanted. Drove the car home. There was an issue was with obtaining my registration and license plate that jammed me up for almost 2 months. Long story short, With patients and persistence on my part they took care of it = Happy customer. I would recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership (just make sure you get your registration and license plate ASAP). Thanks Keffer Hyundai

I called Harris and arranged fro a new engine to be delivered. Before I got that far Harris tried to get me to go to the dealership because there was a chance that I could have the engine replaced for free through a warranty. They tried to save me $1800. I already knew the answer, and had them install the engine, and it was flawless. Ask for Parker, or Rob, both great mechanics and stand up guys.

He asked me if I needed anything to drink, which was nice, but I declined. I explained what I was looking for and he asked some general questions. He grabbed the car I was looking at on the website and pulled it up front. When I walked out to see the car, he had all the doors open, trunk open, and car running. We talked about some features with the car and did an overall simple inspection. I opted in for a test drive. Can I tell you I hate Independence Blvd? But I braved the traffic and we drove around. Brent was very personable and didn't pressure me into anything. He was funny and I felt comfortable being around him. When we arrived back at the dealership, we again met at his desk and talked about some things. I did have another engagement to get to, but he did follow up two days later. He again called to answer some other questions I had, but was never pushy. He was willing to make an appointment for me to bring my husband back when I returned so that he can see the car too.     Buyer Beware I…read morepurchased a vehicle from this dealership on January 10, 2026, and 90+ days later I still do NOT have my registration or permanent tags. Despite multiple follow-ups, the dealership has failed to: * Provide proof that my paperwork was submitted to the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles * Give a clear timeline for resolution * Take accountability for the delay. they just keep telling us 5-7 days. This is not a minor inconvenience--this puts customers at risk of driving without valid registration. At this point, I have been forced to escalate the issue. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle here, I strongly recommend confirming how they handle title and registration processing before signing anything!!! I will update this review if/when the issue is resolved.
