Keg N Bottle is one of my favorite spots! They have an incredible selection of adult beverages at great prices, including a lot of hard-to-find bottles that you won't see everywhere else. The food is just as impressive. One of my favorite ways to visit is to pick out a bottle and order several dishes family style so everyone can try a little bit of everything. It's always a fun experience. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, the place is clean, and the service has always been great. I've tried quite a few items on the menu, and honestly, everything has been delicious... with the exception of the ceviche, which just wasn't my favorite. If you're looking for an awesome bottle shop with fantastic food and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Keg N Bottle. The service was really good. The fish wasn't overly oily or greasy and breaded perfectly. Nice flavor and the tarter sauce was delicious as well. Keg N Bottle has a great selection of pretty much anything you might be looking for and hard to locate bottles. We enjoy the store and it's very well laid out. We were really happy when they opened a restaurant connected to the store. We've been for Happy Hour/Dinner twice and it's great! Happy Hour is 3pm-6pm On our first visit the bartender was incredibly helpful in offering great suggestions on what to order. They food came out fast and was delicious. The do have a limited number of items on their Happy Hour Menu, including a small selection of beer/wine offered. Be sure to ask what their HH wine and beer are (only one red and one white wine). What we ate: Elote Hushpuppies - we would come here just for these. They are so good! I ask for a side of ranch as the dipping sauce it comes with is a bit too spice for me. Sliders - liked a lot. Tacos - good and filled with a lot of meat. The space has a large bar for plenty of seating and several tables. It's a really great spot! read more

I ordered a bottle for my husband's anniversary gift the first week of February. After ten days of no tracking or confirmation, I reached out via email. A few days later after no response, I emailed again. Finally I called, and Ben assured he would get the order shipped out as soon as possible, and that his warehouse manager would ship it. Unfortunately, I still had to check in days later when I still did not receive a tracking number or shipping confirmation. When I called Ben again, he explained the warehouse manager had still let if fall through the cracks (Morwa or Maura was her name). They said they'd overnight it to have it to me before our anniversary. Shipping it was delayed and it still hasn't arrived in time for our anniversary. Now, we've had to wait around to sign for a package for hours instead of going out to celebrate our special day. Highly disappointed in the shipping process, which has taken 20+ days and still is late. Ben did his best to rectify the situation, and I appreciate his kindness, but I am a bit peeved with the delay in what was meant to be a special gift for my spouse. read more

Our first visit to KnB Bistro was extremely positive. We were seated at the high tops next to the bar where we were introduced to Bonito, our server and bartender. A young man brought the menus and water and we were able to explore the happy hour specials. The old fashioned made with buffalo trace were perfectly prepared and served. We also ordered pretzel twist, cauliflower bites, bacon Brussels sprouts were terrific. The sliders were nothing special. Our server recommend the butter toffee Bundt cake which really hit the spot along with butter pecan ice cream. Bonita was a wonderful customer server. read more

This is an awesome new little bistro in the Tierrasanta neighborhood. We came on a Friday evening and it was jam packed! Note to self, try to make an OpenTable reservation for weekend nights! Because we didn't have a reservation, we waited awhile to be seated, but it was worth the wait. Our server Jenny was fantastic, especially for how crazy busy they were. The sprouts appetizer was huge and super delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly by my specifications, and was also enormous. The gourmet mushroom flatbread was also wonderful. The ingredients were all very fresh and portions were generous. The draft beer list is high quality and has an extensive selection. You grab any retail bottle of wine that is at least $15 from their shop and pay just $10 corkage. Mondays and Thursdays, no corkage! Wednesdays, all draft beers are $3 off. Daily Happy Hour from 3-5pm with discounts for drinks and appetizers. Superb spot! Definitely give it a try! read more

Keg N Bottle just opened up their newest location this month in what was previously Alan's Market in Tierrasanta. We stopped by out of curiosity and stepped into a huge variety of beers, wines, and all sorts of spirits. Being primarily wine drinkers, we were impressed to see some wines that we had never seen outside of tasting experiences at the vineyard itself. Prices were quite reasonable as well so we're thrilled about this addition to the neighborhood. FYI according to the gentleman in the front, there's a bistro that's planned to open during the beginning of 2023. Definitely looking forward to hanging out for a bite when I'm back in town! It's also great that it's located in a quiet plaza with plenty of free parking. Come check it out! read more

Thursday was my sons birthday so we came here for cocktails to start the evening. While busy we sat immediately and the staff was great. Calamari appetizer was solid, for what it was. I have heard the Cauliflower is good. Will get that next time. Drinks were: Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Lemon Drop And a dirty Martini. All quite good. What we have here is a case of elevated bar food. Quite pleasant everything's brand new and bright and clean & a huge bar with lots of seating. They were able to accommodate my special needs diet, I'm celiac, and everything was fresh and tasty. Service staff was excellent -- a little slow, but I think they're still learning the computers. Feedback for the management team: since your kitchen is open to public viewing highly recommend that you get your Cooks some hats or head coverings to wear. This will ensure their hair stays out of the food and will be more aesthetically pleasing to your customers. read more

I used to visit regularly when they first opened up and had bought a few bottles of bourbons/Scotches. I stoped going because it just can't justify paying their prices when Total Wine is just a few minutes away. I'm happy to support a local business and these guys used to match Total Wine prices but no longer. I can't justify paying a 15-20% markup on normal bottles and museum prices on allocated ones. I honestly can't recommend them when Total Wine, Mission Trails Wine & Spirits, or hell, even Costco are all nearby. I voted with my wallet. read more

Food is average at best. It's your typical Sysco brand foods restaurant. The soda we ordered was legitimately warm and completely flat. The ahi was decent but it's not anything special. The staff did their best although green and not trained properly but their product is just not good. Nothing scratch made, just frozen food reheated. Don't be foolish like us and expect this place to abide by the hours they have posted. My hubby and I hired a sitter for when the kids were asleep to go here. I checked ahead, on Friday it said they were open until 10. We walked in at 8:25 and the employees acted like we just broke a huge unwritten rule. We were then told the kitchen didn't want to cook food anymore cuz they were not busy enough but they would do fried foods. Then we were told that the tacos were amazing and we should order those, so we did, then we were made to feel stupid since those were not a fried food that was not one of the limited menu items the kitchen was willing to cook us...an hour and a half before close. I reallly wanted to like this place, but eating fried food at 8:30 at night and having chairs put up around us was not worth the check along with what we had to pay a sitter. I hope this business understands how to run a business and if they don't get enough business on friday nights then change your hours so people don't plan their whole day around going at a certain time that you say your open only to be partially turned away and server not so great fried foods read more

We tried the Keg and Bottle Bistro a couple weeks ago and were SO pleasantly impressed! The restaurant was almost full, but it wasn't loud at all. We all commented on how lovely the ambiance was. I really wanted to like the restaurant. We waited for some time for someone to take our order. when the server came we ordered the drinks, apps, and entrees at the same time. We were scared that they wouldn't come back to take the rest of our order. We also noticed that food sat in the kitchen window for a long time. The Caesar salad was horrible. It was not tossed, croutons got soggy because it sat in the window kitchen too long, and the whole lettuce head was cut into big leaves, including the base of the lettuce head. The veins were not removed which caused the salad to be bitter. The hamburger burger- the bun got soggy quick-so it became hard to eat half way through and the patty was not seasoned. Our cocktails came after the food was delivered, also the sodas were flat, another issue was there were too many menus. There were so many I had to sift through. I didn't get the impression that it was a bistro. It was more like a family friendly bar with bar type food. Bistro's have certain foods but here they missed it. I noticed that Alan's Market was replaced by Keg N Bottle so I went to go check it out last month in hopes of finding a gift for my dad for Christmas. This place isn't your standard liquor store - it's so much more! They have a HUGE selection of bourbons and tequilas - literally floor to ceiling - and a variety of price ranges. The staff is so knowledgeable too and is there to answer any questions, without being pushy. This is the perfect spot to shop for gifts or to find something new for yourself. In addition to the bourbons and tequilas, they still have a nice variety of wine, beer and cocktail mixers. I ended up getting my dad a bottle of bourbon that I had never found anywhere else, and he loved it. I will definitely go back soon! read more

I was surprised to see stuff that usually sits on shelves other places being marked up significantly though. The gentleman at the front made sure to tell me you get what you pay for in bourbon, lol Nice little humidor for cigars which were again pretty marked up. What REALLY angered me was bringing a brandy in a dented dusty box to the register and then changing the price on us when we did.
