Food is great, as it is at the Del Cerro location. Service is spot on. Great happy hour prices! Great beer selection. The space is nice, as per the photos. This is a great location right next to the 52 freeway in lovely Tierrasanta .

Casual neighborhood spot with great drinks & good food. Friendly staff. Sliders were good as was their grilled cheese sandwich.

    Interior view from the entrance.

This is an awesome new little bistro in the Tierrasanta neighborhood. We came on a Friday evening and it was jam packed! Note to self, try to make an OpenTable reservation for weekend nights! Because we didn't have a reservation, we waited awhile to be seated, but it was worth the wait. Our server Jenny was fantastic, especially for how crazy busy they were. The sprouts appetizer was huge and super delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly by my specifications, and was also enormous. The gourmet mushroom flatbread was also wonderful. The ingredients were all very fresh and portions were generous. The draft beer list is high quality and has an extensive selection. You grab any retail bottle of wine that is at least $15 from their shop and pay just $10 corkage. Mondays and Thursdays, no corkage! Wednesdays, all draft beers are $3 off. Daily Happy Hour from 3-5pm with discounts for drinks and appetizers. Superb spot! Definitely give it a try!

Kids Mac n Cheese with Fruit side

First time dining here for lunch with family. The place is very clean and looks trendy. Service was quick and friendly. My son ordered the kids Mac n cheese with fruit as his side. It was a very generous portion, definitely too much for a kid to eat. We got the French dip, Firebird, the Philly Cheese Steak with fries. Portions were great but flavor was lacking unfortunately. Needed more salt on the fries and all of the sandwiches were meh (2.5/5 stars). Bread was the best part.

I made two online orders for delivery both were canceled without any explanation. It was a total waste of my time.

When I saw Royal Cigar was located not too far from the bases main gate, I made it point to check it out. NARRATIVE: Walking in to the lounge, directly to the right behind the main door you'll find their humidor with lots of smokes to choose from. Just prior to going in to the humidor, I was greeted by David, who explained a little about the lounge and their bar set up. After grabbing a few sticks, I may my way towards the backdoor area where there was plenty of plush, large leather seats. David came over shortly and asked if cared for an adult beverage and I settled for a sour beer. Royal Cigar Lounge has a very casual atmosphere and what made my time there so enjoyable was not the cigars I purchased but rather, the one on one, polite, and very knowledgable conversation David and I had during my short stay. You can have a great store. Filled with lots of great cigars and alcohol and peace but, what changes the ordinary to extraordinary is that extra of a good host like David. SCENE: Royal Cigar Lounge is located in Miramar right off of Miramar Road. The lounge is surrounded by really good eateries and the Royal staff doesn't mind if you dine in the lounge. Just remember. Sharing is caring. RECOMMENDATION(S): If you're in the area and into cigar or pipes, don't miss the chance to visit this lounge.

I opted for the standard Guinness, and it was poured right. The selection in the humidor is very good. They have pretty much all the Fuentes, and Padrons. Now , if you look carefully, and above the shelves, you may spot something rare and interesting. While I was there, they had about 5 bundles of Tat Pork Tenderloins. I moseyed on to the bartender and asked him about it, and he graciously went up there to fetch us a few sticks. I reckon you can find some rare smokes here if you ask kindly.

Excellent selection of Belgian ales in bottles. The Guinness on tap is usually fresh because they sell a lot of it. I would be wary about ordering wine here. The experience here depends largely on the bartenders. Two are great. One so-so. One is terrible: has a bad attitude and a filthy mouth. If I see she's working, I head back out the door. One bartender is pleasant enough but uses a stick to scrape the head off a glass of a beer and then puts it into his back pocket. That doesn't seem like a sanitary practice. They close out all tabs during shift change. Convenient for the staff, not for patrons.

Seating: Indoor seating and outdoor lounge setup with chairs and tables--very laid back and open. You even get to sit in an island on the road. Vibes: Welcome to the Hillcrest Gay-borhood. Super unique. It's a coffee shop + plant shop + cigar lounge hybrid, which gives it a really relaxed, community feel. Definitely not your dark, moody cigar bar--this is more daytime-friendly, approachable, and welcoming. It feels like a spot where you can casually hang, whether you're new to cigars or already into them. DRINKS / EXPERIENCE They've got a curated selection of premium cigars ranging from beginner to more experienced options, plus coffee, beer, and wine to pair with it. CUSTOMER SERVICE Isiah was dope! He was friendly, welcoming and knew his stuff. TL;DR OVERALL 4 Stars. Solid experience. Good range from cigars to the type of ambiance you're trying to take. A refreshing take on a cigar lounge. More casual and community-driven than traditional spots, which makes it super approachable. Great if you want to ease into cigars or just enjoy a relaxed hang in Hillcrest.
