I order from this restaurant because it's 2 blocks away and quick. The food is usually good. But they're stingy with meat. There were three small pieces of beef the size of lo mein noodles. I was PO'ed and called the guy in charge asking "What did you do with the meat, keep it for yourself?" He apologized saying the cook sometimes makes a mistake. For a late night food option, this was a good option. My food was delivered by Door Dash, so I can't say how service or atmosphere. I can say that the food was prepared quickly and tasted good. Excellent food! Received a large order from my daughters coworker that used to live in flushing , now lives in California, and this was his go to place. He ordered 2 orders general tso chicken that came with chicken fried rice, wonton soup, egg rolls which were delicious, chicken lo mein, beef mei fun and it was all so good. This spot has been my hood Chinese joint since maybe 2005. Not sure what people are expecting from a hood Chinese joint - the food is pretty good and of course it's going to be greasy if you order fried food. This place makes much better food than the other Chinese takeout spot on 162nd. I've not experienced any mishaps with hygiene or rude delivery guys - I typically order my food and pick it up myself. I usually order beef and broccoli with white or brown rice, and sesame chicken with pork fried rice. The food has always been fresh, full of vegetables (with actual flavor and bite), and ready on time. These come with an egg roll. They don't include sauces but you can grab them yourself at the counter. Their COVID-19 setup is pretty solid - a thick plastic sheet separates the counter from the customer, and they also sell boxes of face masks. You're not allowed in without a face mask, and only 3 customers are allowed in at a time. Not sure if they enforce this, but it's nice to see signs up and a bottle of hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray. Running a restaurant - especially a takeout restaurant - is especially difficult. I have immense respect for immigrants who do so. I understand the struggle and the hustle! People don't realize how essential these businesses (including bodegas) are for small neighborhoods until they're gone. read more

I have found the food to be excellant. Egg Foo Young, Boneless spareribs, Cold Seseme Noodles, Fried Wontons, Sesame Chicken, Moo Shu Pork. Shrimp in lobster sauce, fried rice. Eggrolls. The food always arives hot & delivered within 20-25 minutes. If I request extra sauces for the egg foo young or red sauce for the wontons or duck sauce, they always comply. I have been here many times , as I live within walking distance from here. I don't understand the reviews.. most of the food is solid. I believe many people got ticked off by the delivery man or the mom cashier and tips and decided to attack the restaurant as a whole to get back putting objects and taking picture after eating half the thing. I am understanding that they have to deal with rude dumb customers often too so they may have some attitude, it is okay! Lunch specials are great. Counter workers are friendly and speak English. A few downers: fried chicken/french fries - pass. lunch specials do not come with the standard egg roll and/or soup (but... this isn't the worst thing, right?) and sometimes, when you imagine yourself eating some noodles out of a white Chinese take out box in front of the tv and go to Panda to fulfill this dream... they do not use the white Chinese take out box. Instead you get a rectangular Styrofoam container. Stupid, I know.. but I've gotten my heart broken a few times. All in all, great, clean food. This place is your typical Chinese take out place. I personally like to get the 4 piece fried chicken with pork fried rice. The place is pretty good but it isn't anything special. It is one a the few places though that won't upset my stomach afterwards. The price isn't too bad either. The average price is around $6.50 for most of the common dishes. There isn't much seating inside either since it is a Chinese take out place and only accepts cash. However it is conveniently located next to a deli which has an ATM inside with a $1.50 fee that I always stop by beforehand to pick up some cash and grab a bag of chips and soda before I head over. It only takes around 10 minutes for the food to get ready so I usually call ahead and by the time I walk over its ready. read more
