I am very happy to post this five star review. This is the second time I have ordered from ciao and my food was delicious. I had hot and sour soup that was chalk full of vegetables, tofu mushrooms, and whatever else they put in there and it was delicious a bit spicy, but that's okay that's why there's duck sauce. I also ordered tofu with eggplant and garlic sauce that was absolutely delicious. I haven't had that made so well since Baybridge was originally in business years ago. It did take a while for the food to come today, but I suppose that's because it's Christmas night and people are not cooking however I still feel that it rated five star review read more

My neighborhood, Chinese takeout. I've ordered from this place for the past three years, never a appointment. I've tried many Chinese takeout and a lot of time, It's either too oily or overly cook. What I like about this spot is that they can customize my order. The quality of their food is worth the extra $.50 to a dollar compared to other Chinese takeout. My go to dish is the beef sesame with the garlic sauce on the side. I don't like my dish to be cooked with cornstarch so I have them hold off on that, other Chinese takeout places they just ignore my request. Another sunny day but a tad bit windy out. I was running a bunch of errands. This was my first time trying Chow's today. I am impressed that their lunch specials are 7 days from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm! Wow, Chow's lunch specials are pretty affordable. I usually always order a beef dish but lately, I love eating General Tso's Chicken and Sesame Chicken. I decided to order the General Tso's Chicken over Pork Fried Rice and a can of Ginger Ale. Also, I bought a pack of Fried Noodle because I do love fried food hehe I grabbed my take-out and went back home to do a photo shoot of my food lol Wow, there was a lot of General Tso's Chicken...the broccoli was like a garnish hehe...everything was so yummy =) Definitely give Chow's a try! read more

Been looking for a good Chinese food place in the area that is good and fills up the container. This place has great reviews so we gave it a try. Very nice over the phone for delivery. I had a large order and they were good about it. So the rib tips were a lot for a lg order which was great but pricey. They were also dry for $20 each. I do like the char flavor but I asked for extra sauce and it definitely didn't have extra. With the dryness it really needed that extra bbq sauce. The broccoli with garlic sauce was great, egg roll, everything was good just very expensive. Entrees for 3 people plus soup , crab Rangoon, egg rolls, side of fries was $120. I was speechless. The pics of the menu online I looked at was much cheaper. Obviously an old menu. I've never paid more than $60 for what we order. I can say it was enough for dinner the next day so thank goodness for that. They did give us a free general tso chicken because we spent over a certain amount and it was very good. I didn't get the sauce for the crab Rangoon that's usually given so I'll try it with duck sauce. I will try and eat here again but I will get smaller portions and ask for my pork not to be well done. I Usually order from here all the time since I live close by but I don't know what happened to this place recently but especially tonight, I was very disappointed and had to leave this review. Ordered the sesame chicken (as I have before many times).... It was horrible. Every single piece of chicken was rock hard and extremely dry. It was very obvious that the chicken was definitely OLD. I basically ate the rice and threw out all the chicken after trying so many times to "just enjoy it" .. nope. Total waste of money but I really couldn't stomach it. Absolutely gross. Old . Dry. Over all just bad. Very bad. Especially compared to other places I go for sesame chicken and they're 100x better. Well.. I guess now I know they've definitely been taken off my list. read more

I was so excited when I saw Chow open back up after weeks of being closed during quarantine. I love the free crab rangoons for some odd reason and I really craved them. Yum. So so so disappointing.... I ordered yesterday for Mothers Day...I was very clear that I did not want the food before 6:00. The food arrived at 5:45....when I complained they said they are busy and could not control when the food was ready. They should have told me this when I was so emphatic about the delivery time. To make matters worse we found strands of hair in the food which was very disgusting. Again, they said I should have brought it back, however, with a house full of company I could not do this. My guest was so revolted by the sight, she tossed it in the trash. Last of all but not terrible my order was incorrect on some dishes. They were not very understanding when I called today. This is my go-to Chinese delivery place when I'm at work. Prompt delivery to our office and the eggplant in garlic sauce is always so delicious. Unlike most Chinese places that fry eggplant by itself, this place actually makes an effort to coat the eggplant with a thin layer of starch which makes a world of difference. The most impressive part about their eggplant in garlic sauce is that the zesty garlic sauce is soaked up by the batter which surprisingly holds up its integrity. I would also like to point out that the white meat chicken they use is cleaned well, and lightly seasoned with curry powder which I found impressive (the curry powder was not overpowering). The chicken breast actually tastes like chicken breast, not one of those weird overly tenderized meats some restaurants use. The reason why I took out one star is because the other dishes I've tried from here are pretty average. I also don't really like their fried rice so I always stick with brown rice. I think the lunch combo is probably the best deal. It comes with a choice of 1 entree, 1 type of rice, soda or soup. Generous portions on entrees as well. read more

We are all pleased with the 6 dishes we got today for dinner. Delivery was on time. The guy who came was kind. They said that it would take half an hour and it came within that timeframe. Portions were generous and the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. For example, the sesame chicken came in nice, tasty chunks of chicken that are not drowned by the batter. The flounder cubes with garlic sauce was HUGE. Delicious! The Singapore Chow Mei Fun, a type of curry sautéed vermicelli with shrimp and veggie was also spectacular! It's on the spicy side, but not too hard to handle. The pepper steak with onion was well-seasoned. It comes as sliced beef with a good amount of pepper and onion. If you don't like veggie, you could consider beef with garlic sauce. String beans were tasty. Maybe because we ate half an hour after the food was delivered, that the string beans didn't have that pleasant snap when you bite into it. The steam might have softened the texture. My mom LOVED their chicken corn soup. It was indeed a wonderful pairing with all the rest. You can also choose white or brown rice. Both were good, but it was the first time that I found the brown rice appetizing. If you wanna order for more than 2 people, you can consider their "Any 2 Dishes + 1 Soup Family Meal" or "Any 3 dishes + 1 soup". Good value for a set of great food.
