Unfortunately, to further troubleshoot they would have had to open the engine, a bit time consuming and a costly repair if the piston components were damaged. The news was unfortunate but I just wanted an honest assessment rather than just shotgunning parts like the last shop that tried to troubleshoot the issue.

Luis, the owner of Stringfields told us he would do whatever he could to keep the price down on this pricey repair. He found us a salvaged harness and installed it quickly. All I can say is that Luis was incredibly good to work with. He's honest, kind, compassionate and just a really nice person with really good automative knowledge and skills.
