First time visiting and eating at keke's breakfast and it did not disappoint! I was craving for French toast and luckily keke's has French toast and even better they have stuffed French toast! I ordered the Nutella with banana but instead of banana I got strawberry and it was amazing! I also ordered the scrambler bowl and omg! It's the best! My husband ordered the Greek omelette and he said it was very good as well! Rona was our server and she did an amazing job! She was very quick and nice. This location is located at the shopping center at San Jose, definitely lots of parking spot. I also believe that this location is new which works for us since it is the closest Kekes breakfast! Keke's Breakfast I thought would be in like of 1st Watch but it's more like Bob Evan's or Dennys. The inside of the restaurant is CLEAN with plenty of choices to sit. The menu is APPEALING. There are many options to choose from for breakfast or brunch. The Kids Menu also has descent. The food is SUBPAR. I could have done better at home. My order: French Toast with scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes. The French Toast had an enticing presentation but the bread was HARD. I tried to drizzle in syrup to soften it until I gave up all together. I asked for scrambled eggs but I received a FLAT egg patty that taste DRY and reminded me of McDonald's. The tomato slices were hard and FRESH and the best part of my meal :-(. My drink was a sangria. It was OKAY. I'm convinced it was made with grape juice not wine. is was our first time here and was very excited to try something new. I will start with the service. Our server (out of respect will not use the name) was not as attentive to say the least. Our server greeted us promptly, took our drink order, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. When she brought our drinks, I told her I couldn't decide what to order and asked for her recommendation. This is a very disappointing review that I'm writing. First, we were told 10 minute wait time. We were seated rather quickly. The restaurant was busy but not too busy. The waitress was very nice and polite. Our order was taken quickly too. I ordered make my own combo 2 French toast eggs and bacon. He order a fried chicken salad. Here's where it went down hill. They did not have Dr Pepper and the Root Beer was not good. They didn't have clean knives due to dishwasher issues. We were given plastic silverware to use the knives. The food took a very long time to arrive. By the time the food arrived, his chicken was cold. They cooked him some fresh chicken. By the time he got his chicken for his salad, I was finished with my breakfast. The waitress was very sympathetic and kept checking on us. I am writing this review while he is eating. What a yummy breakfast! Started off with Peach Bellini, very simple but delicious. Love the fact you can get a combo with any flavor of pancake, waffle or French toast (1 or 2 pieces) with eggs and meat. Eggs cooked perfectly and the banana, pecan, caramel French toast was perfection. Service was prompt and our hostess was very attentive. I have kind of made it a new standard in my reviews that if a restaurant does not have a basic meal on the menu that is strongly associated with its location, then I take a star away. Biscuits and gravy is a staple in the South. To me, this is like being at a restaurant in New England and learning it didn't offer fish n chips! That's a big miss. Come on Keke's!!! Get the biscuits and gravy on your menu! But still, I was very happy with the food and service. It is a restaurant I would certainly visit again. My Belgian Eaffle wasn't warm enough to melt the butter, the bacon was mostly raw and had to be sent back but other than that the food tasted good. The waiter was very inexperienced and rarely came to check on us. We had to look for him to get a check. This was our second time and we definitely won't ever be back. The location is convenient if you have things to do at the Town Center but I wouldn't drive to try it. we choose this place for a girls brunch. I was highly disappointed. I ordered the sausage and egg omelette. I asked if I could change the white American cheese out for another cheese either cheddar, Swiss, or provolone Our waitress said we have all three I choose Swiss. I then asked instead of hashbrowns and toast to have fruit on the side instead. I get my food and I can't even begin to tell you how small this omelette was for $15.49. I then get my bill and it's $27. $15.49 for a child size omelett, .50 cents extra for Swiss cheese snd then $5.50 extra for fruit. Now mind you NON of this was told to me it would extra by my server Emily. She was nice however really dropped the ball on y anything. We came in on a Saturday around 1pm and were seated after they cleaned the table. They were packed. Pretty quickly our server came over and took our drink orders, their drink glasses are huge! She brought over our drinks and then took our order. While they were fast getting our drinks, the food took a while but it's ok because it did taste fresh when they brought it out. I'm disappointed in the menu because they do not have a veggie omelette. So I had to create my own and was also told I could only have 3 vegetables and not 4 in my omelette. So that's a boo! I ordered my omelette with fruit and grits. My boyfriend got the egg sandwich and the server didn't ask what bread he wanted which was odd. He also got the side of home fries. After we placed our orders and the food came it was quite a bit until we saw our server come over. My omelette came with home fries instead of grits and the waitress who brought us our meals said she would have to get our server so I had to wait longer for her to come back and then bring the grits. The servers just seemed very disinterested. While I felt like my omelette and fruit and grits were big portions my boyfriend was disappointed in his egg sandwich because he said it had one scrambled egg and some sprinkled cheese on it so he wasn't thrilled with his sandwich. We go to KeKe's on Atlantic every weekend and Glory is the server we ask for, she is A-MAZING. We are, however, disappointed in the restaurant appearance itself. The past 3-4 weeks they have had one section blocked off due to a leak in the roof where there are several ceiling panels missing. There are other missing panels and leaks elsewhere as well. This does not make us want to eat here when the appearance is not addressed. They are missing out on income when they cannot use those areas.
