    Stuffed French toast

This was my very first time at Keke's and Donte was my server. We had excellent service. The turkey sausage was cold in the middle but Sonte quickly replaced my sad pale sausage with some crispy bacon. I ordered the strawberry stuffed French Toast and it was the perfect start to my day. I highly recommend that you visit early if not, be prepared to wait for a table.

Some mornings just feel like a reward for showing up in life--and this was one of them. A mountain of crispy bacon piled next to perfectly seasoned potatoes loaded with melty cheese and smoky goodness--every bite tasted like someone in that kitchen actually cared about your morning. The French toast was golden, buttery, dusted in powdered sugar, and paired with a scoop of butter that melted into happiness. Hot sauce options ready for action, strong diner coffee poured without asking, and ice water keeping pace--simple things done exceptionally well. No pretension. No nonsense. Just comfort food that reminds you why breakfast is the most hopeful meal of the day. If you're having a tough week--this place will fix it. I left full, happy, caffeinated...

is was our first time here and was very excited to try something new. I will start with the service. Our server (out of respect will not use the name) was not as attentive to say the least. The server saw the eggs were fried and not over easy and the pancakes were over cooked but rather than having the cook redo it he brought it out, acknowledged the situation and to their credit offered to redo it. A true professional would not have brought it out knowing up front was wrong. I will say the young lady who took out ticket was great!! She was geniune with her smile and friendly.

We went to Keke's for lunch and had a short wait, but once our name was called, we were seated right away. Our server greeted us promptly, took our drink order, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. When she brought our drinks, I told her I couldn't decide what to order and asked for her recommendation. She suggested the steak omelet with home potatoes and a side of cinnamon roll pancakes--and let me tell you, it was one of the best meals I've ever had at Keke's! Our server was fantastic--she kept our drinks filled, checked in often, and even made sure we were all set after we'd paid and lingered at the table chatting for a bit. If you're not sure what to order, definitely give the steak omelet a try. You won't be disappointed!

This is a very disappointing review that I'm writing. First, we were told 10 minute wait time. We were seated rather quickly. The restaurant was busy but not too busy. The waitress was very nice and polite. Our order was taken quickly too. I ordered make my own combo 2 French toast eggs and bacon. He order a fried chicken salad. Here's where it went down hill. They did not have Dr Pepper and the Root Beer was not good. They didn't have clean knives due to dishwasher issues. We were given plastic silverware to use the knives. The food took a very long time to arrive. By the time the food arrived, his chicken was cold. They cooked him some fresh chicken. By the time he got his chicken for his salad, I was finished with my breakfast. The waitress was very sympathetic and kept checking on us. I am writing this review while he is eating. He is so disappointed, we may not return.

The ambiance was nice. The wait was short. Greeted very politely. The lighting was nice. The decor was on point. It was a bit warm in there, but it was a hot day. We had Jill as a server and wow was she entertaining. We will definitely sit in her section again. The menu was what you would expect from a breakfast place. I had the blueberry pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. It was delicious. We will definitely be eating here again soon.

What a yummy breakfast! Started off with Peach Bellini, very simple but delicious. Love the fact you can get a combo with any flavor of pancake, waffle or French toast (1 or 2 pieces) with eggs and meat. Eggs cooked perfectly and the banana, pecan, caramel French toast was perfection. Service was prompt and our hostess was very attentive. Clean and loved the booth concept as it really tones down all the conversations (was packed for Sunday breakfast). Definitely recommend for a very wonderful breakfast. Need to come back and try lunch.

Sat down right away. We ordered drinks and our food. I had ordered a hot tea but she didn't bring sugar, I had to ask for it. And she only brought one kind not even sugar substitutes. Once we got our food, we had to ask for utensils, they should have been at the table or brought with food. The food was not amazing just ok. Our server acted like she was either rushed or not fully there. Even if you're having a bad day, you don't show it to your customers. It wasn't super busy, but it also wasn't dead. I gave the vibe of relaxing brunch place.

This was such a bland breakfast, and I was starving so I was shook it didn't just light up my tastebuds! The omelette has jalapenos and onion but I was surprised the jalapeños were canned jalapeños and not fresh. Very mediocre but the service was decent. Probably won't be back, but not made about giving it a chance

While I was out of town, I skimmed yelp for a breakfast food options. I picked the right place! The food here was delicious! I was highly impressed. My server was amazing. I really wished I wrote her name down. She helped us create alternate options for our meals as the kitchen was out of a few ingredients. I believe this was so because it was close to closing time. The atmosphere is one of a diner. We were able to be seated right away. If I travel back to Jacksonville, I will definitely be back.

One of my favorite brunch spots! Their food and service is always amazing! We love the town center location so we can hit Hobby Lobby right after haha. If you're not sure what to get their seasonal options are always a must.

I decided to go to this location for breakfast, being that I was in the area. Parking was slightly difficult to find this morning and I had to wait a couple of minutes for an available parking spot. But, it's nothing new, it's the Town Centwr area traffic. I decided to order one of their omelets. I decided to have their sausage and cheese omelet. That omelet was very good and flavorful. I also decided to Grilled potato slices to go along with the omelet. Those potato slices were very good and flavorful as well. I also had toast and strawberry jam as well. The service was good today. If I'm in this general area again, I'll make to visit again.

There were roughly 15 people at the party and she kept the food and drinks coming all night with a friendly smile. I started with the guava gimlet made with Wheatley Vodka, guava, pineapple, simple and lime. It was sweet and refreshing. We were served a few appetizers including creamy artichoke dip served with homemade chips which were tasty. My friend and I ordered the charcuterie board which hit the spot! The staff were friendly but super busy due to inside volume of people. The food looks good and the steak was cooked fine, but the chimichurri had too much oil & fries were super salty. Like it was fried in it and topped off with it... I had let the person who brought the food out know (who works with the chef), and they never offered to bring me different fries. They just said they would tell the kitchen but didn't offer anything and so I didn't eat the fries at all. This plate being $38 before tax, I mean you want good fries....For the drink I got one of their mocktails which honestly was not up to par at all tasting like water and cucumber and nothing else, and I ended up ordering a soda... Again staff are friendly, but if management could pay attention a little more even when they're busy, it would help a lot, especially if someone is not happy with their food. I will not try this place again for a while as there are other places better than this that have similar dishes. Again when people are eating alone or in a group, make them happy with the food please...

We used to go to this chain in Texas all the time and it was lovely there- and always busy, from 7…read moretill 11 it was packed. . This location, however, was really different. To start there's a whole lot more outdoor seating than there is indoor seating. Well inherently that's not a problem. I just found it unique. The staff was extremely nice at least our waitress was and overall no problem with the actual service we received. It was really well decorated. In fact, I would say arguably better decorated than some of the other locations for this particular chain that we have gone to. But the reason that it's only getting two stars instead of my typical five is the food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and frankly when you're in the south that's something that should be a staple- this was a complete mess. There was either too much salt or too much pepper or maybe both? Which really left a lackluster taste I didn't even get through the first half of one of my biscuits. Biscuits seemed standard frozen biscuit fair for a breakfast establishment, unfortunately. And it's a vast contrast to some of the other places that used to be in Jacksonville or still are like Cracker Barrel or Village Inn- heck even Famos Amos has/had better biscuits and gravy. But for the fact that I didn't put anything on my eggs, which were delicious. I shouldn't be leaving this place with heartburn, considering I had a milk based gravy. The former city grits now bacon Gouda grits were OK but also very salty. Maybe too much bacon grease in it? I'm not sure. My partner says that his Benedict a shrimp Benedict something that's supposed to be there special for the season, was extremely sweet and the cherry tomatoes that he got were the most savory thing on his dish and he had shrimp Benedict with a side of cheese grits. There shouldn't really have been anything sweet in that dish, except maybe the hollandaise sauce. We were hoping to rekindle a classic taste from a familiar chain from our previous residence and enjoy brunch this morning. Maybe it was an off day for this particular location and if that's the case OK. However, due to this experience, we may not actually come back here. Paying $73 including tip for food that I can make better at home is not really my idea of a great breakfast. Kids oj was over $4. Plus $8 for her food. She took three bites and ate the bacon. Not a hit for her either.

Reservations can be made via OpenTable, and I saw this suggested on Yelp so I decided to try one evening. Upon arriving, I marveled at the beauty of the interior design of the bottom floor that also serves as a gallery. I ascended the staircase as the restaurant is on the third floor. I dined alone as this trip I didn't have a coworker with me, but I still was seated in a cozy corner to take it all in. Isaac, my waiter, was incredibly friendly, and ensured I had everything I needed. What I Ordered: - Caesar Salad: This salad is as pretty good, but at a price point of $19, I would likely skip if dining here again. Though, it did have the perfect hint of lemon for acidity and the croutons tasted house-made. Perhaps if you added a protein, this could become your main dish and elevate it. - Lobster Roll: $36 for a lobster roll?! I was intrigued as this was noted as a signature dish and a standout for what this location is known for... and boy was I IMPRESSED! The roll was perfectly toasted, and the lobster to roll ratio was absolute perfection. The flavor of the lobster was juicy and tasted fresh. This roll was so good that even the neighboring table as they left asked how I enjoyed it. They were recognized by staff, so I believe they are regulars. We all discussed how delicious it was and I shared my thoughts on the execution of lobster to bread ratio. I dined here a couple weeks ago, and I'm still thinking about where in Arizona I'll ever find a roll as decadent. - Cappuccino: a mark of a truly well-crafted cappuccino is the sugar test. Will the foam withstand the weight of sugar or will it sink to the bottom (poorly frothed)? I had ordered and didn't realize they would put a design on top! Visually stunning, and happy to report they make a beautiful cappuccino with delightful foam. Added pictures to showcase the design they added, and the sugar test. The rooftop has stunning views, and the food is a work of art as well. Though I had a lighter dinner with a salad + lobster roll, I was impressed with the meal and would return to try more of the menu if I visit for business or personal reasons in the future. This area has lots of restaurants, but this one definitely leaves an impression and draws this foodie back in to return. Check it out if you are in the area!

The vibe is genuine and food never ceasing to please!…read more I go here every other week if possible! Grab some fresh bread, desert, or have a great lunch with good ingredients. Definitely a neighborhood type of place that get's people fed and nourished for lunch or a sweet treat to go! I love how their food is consistent and they take the time to make things right.

Ok, I have to be honest and say I went here thinking I would have given a worse review bc I don't…read morelike the long wait, limited menu (only salads, bruschetta, and sandwiches), and high prices ($45 for a sandwich, side salad, and slice of cake?!), but this place TOTALLY lives up to the hype!!! Fortunately, you can avoid some of the wait if you get your food to-go. They have reserved parking spots right next to the entrance and a whole separate area to order to-go food. I came on a Thurs at 1130am and was able to order/leave in 15-20 minutes. What made me fall in love with this place was, believe it or not, the Caesar salad dressing!!! It had so much flavor and was so addicting I ate the salad in 5 minutes. The Hot Italian sandwich had tender flavorful meats, great addition with the banana peppers, and bread was light/fluffy/spot on! The wedding cake was SO GOOD! Layers of moist cake, creamy icing and sweet strawberries. Yum! The inside decor wasn't very fancy but who cares when the food's so good? Will totally be back.

Walking in, there's a lot going on: tastings, displays, truffles, souvenirs, etc. Music played over…read morethe speakers and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was one of 6 in a group and had great conversation and larger than expected appetizers. I ordered a flight of reds, broadening my tastes to explore a Tempranillo. It was my favorite, actually, and paired well with the Shanghai Short Rib! I was pleasantly impressed. I did have the crab, shrimp and lobster bisque for my appetizer, the seasonal Shanghai Short rib for my entree and the peach butter cake to finish. Truthfully, I was finished long before the dessert, but had to taste each course. It was delectable! Personally, I would've appreciated more spice in the Shanghai sauce, but it was tasty for a more general palate and customer base. There's some risotto that called to me, so I will definitely return! Our service was kind, professional and attentive without being overly aggressive nor present. It was very appreciative.

Would've had a better experience if our party wasn't seated 30 minutes after the reservation time…read moreAFTER being told the table was ready 7 minutes before the actual reservation time. Our server Frenchie also made it very clear that she's only working for tips - but she wasn't working very hard for them. Not only did she belittle our party for our ages, but also made it our problem for taking our food/drink orders late. One person in our party asked a question regarding an entree on the menu and he was met with a smart remark and little to no detail explaining the entree. Later on in the night when the whole table is done eating - we all decide to help out and clean up the table as best as we can. Frenchie decided it was a good time to make yet another smart remark about stacking the plates on top of each other. She continued to say "Have you ever been a server before?" and before really answering she cut me off to say "well then you should know not to stack the plates because you don't know if the server can handle that many plates" ... as she continued to take the pile of dishes out of my hand. If she can't handle too many plates in her hands, then she should've just waited to clear the table or politely say "i'll come back for those plates in a minute" by the end of it all , the entire table felt very uncomfortable by her demeanor towards us - of course we still tipped because we understand what it's like to make a living off of tips but to have a sour attitude and continually reminding us that you're here for tips isn't a great way of having customers coming back.
