The lobster and clams were overcooked and came out rubbery. The sauce was bland, no depth or kick to it at all. Was really hoping for better, but it just didn't live up to the hype for me.

I wish she had told us this sooner, as we had to place a new order for my in-laws while we were almost done with our own food. strange that they were out of snow crab legs and dungeness crab so early in the evening and with so few customers. also the restaurant is freezing cold, dingy, and dark, which adds to the over all unpleasant dining experience. definitely skip this place!

(I would say 5 or 6 ppl max) We were a group of 4 and they were very accommodating when I had to call and change the reservation a couple times I really liked the vibes in the restaurant , it was very cozy and i loved the art on their walls. it's a very interesting concept of korean and NOLA-style cuisine. We ordered à la carte , we did the hushpuppies and the fried chicken thighs ($68 for 5 thighs) that come with 2 sides (watermelon salad and kimchi green tomatoes) & the green tomatoes were my personal favorite- very flavorful and crispy! They were pretty busy, so our food took a bit longer than usual and they gave us complimentary pecan pie bites and the hushpuppies :) They were very apologetic but it was unnecessary, we were willing to wait for good food! Our server was very accommodating and checked on us a few times, which was nice We did à la carte mainly bc my husband and i were with friends but next time, i would def do their tasting menu! I would recommend!

We decided to the set menu where you get to chose an assortment of sides and mains. We decided on watermelon salad, okra kimchi and potato salad for our sides. The watermelon kimchi and the okra really stood out. The sauce of the watermelon was fresh, light and full of flavor. While the okra was crunchy and not too slimey. We also went with the blackened catfish, and japchae balls. Both of which were solid! For our mains we did the crab curry, the fried chicken, and the brisket with grits. The chicken was battered to perfection, it was airy and not too heavy. The grits were done beautifully, the texture wasn't overly wet and mushy! Normally not a grits gal but it was sooo good. Some of the pieces of meat were rendered while some were a bit tough. The staff even threw in cornbread for our table which was very sweet! The crab curry had a very seafood front flavor, trust you knew crab was in that curry. We ended with both desserts the yakault drink being a crowd favorite!

Stopped by after work but unfortunately happy hour was over at that point (I think we arrived at 6:30PM ish). Did not make a reservation but were sat down super quickly. The service was quick and attentive. Loved the ambiance and theme throughout the establishment. The bar in the front still gave that grove street vibe. We ordered Combo A (crawfish and headless shrimp) with their special seasoning plus fried catfish with sweet potato fries. Those sweet potato fries were amazing, best I've ever had. They were seasoned so well, I think cajun seasoning, and nicely crisp. The boil was good, wish it came with more of the sauce/seasoning. I liked the shrimp but was not a fan of the crawfish. Definitely going to return to try a different combination..

What you may not know is that in addition to sidewalk seating in the front, they have a cute courtyard area as well more within the restaurant. It is a bit more intimate and quiet than being in the front. The food is good! They have a nice selection ranging from lobster to crawfish. I ordered the shrimp basket which was delicious. I really enjoyed their home made lemonade as well. Price wise the place is reasonable given its location. I would definitely come back again.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. It's a smaller space, but everything was spotless. Our hostess was incredibly friendly and seemed to be doing it all seating guests, making cocktails, checking in on tables, and even folding napkins and prepping utensils for the next customers. She never missed a beat. Since it was Restaurant Week, they were offering a $60 seafood boil special that included an appetizer, a boil, and dessert. My date and I decided to share everything, so we ordered the Cajun spaghetti and the Restaurant Week boil, adding a whole lobster for an extra $20. We also ordered drinks. I had the Raspberry Martini, and he had the Clawlatta, their take on a piña colada. Both cocktails were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. Even though there were only two of us, our waiter pulled another table over so we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the full seafood boil experience. It was a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. The Cajun spaghetti came out first, and it was delicious. It had a rich, flavorful sauce with a nice kick of spice that lingered at the end without being overwhelming. Then... came the BOIL!! I ordered the garlic butter seasoning with mild spice. The bag arrived piping hot, filled with plenty of shrimp, the whole lobster, potatoes, and lots of flavorful buttery broth. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. It was messy in the best way and absolutely delicious. When we first arrived, there was only one other occupied table. By the time we left, the restaurant had filled up with several larger groups, yet the service and attention to us, was consistent. Every dish came out hot and savory, the hostess and waiter remained attentive throughout our meal, our water glasses were never empty, and the overall hospitality was excellent. Including drinks, the lobster upgrade, tax, and tip, our total came to about $175 for two people. Considering the quality of the food, generous portions, drinks, and outstanding service, I thought it was well worth it. I would definitely come back.

Instead of buy different baggies of seafood boil, we chose the mad combo option!! You pick 5 lbs of seafood, sauce, and spice level. Some appetizers we got were: wings, calamari, garlic pasta, and fried shrimp basket with fries. Everything came out super quick and everyone was friendly and attentive even though they were busy on a Friday evening. We were so shocked how delicious the appetizers were!! We ate it super fast while we waited for our main seafood combo. Our combo came out on a beautiful giant platter and we all stared at it asking ourselves how will we finish all this? The mad combo was so good and flavorful!! The crab legs were big and juicy, shrimp with head added more flavor, and everything was cooked perfectly. We all agreed that we wanted to come back again and even try to come before 6pm because there is happy hour for cocktails!! FYI tips are included if you're a party of 4 or more.
