He proceeded to only put half the portions of each, When I went to pay, the woman said they don't do that, but why did the guy say it was allowed? I have gone to Kelly's Cajun Grill at Arundel Mills Mall twice for dinner: once in the summer of 2025 and once in the spring of 2026. The first time, I ordered the one-piece only blackened fish dinner with two sides, which included fried rice and mixed vegetables. I didn't like the texture of fried rice, which was mostly plastic-like and difficult to chew. The staff swapped the fried rice out for some more vegetables after I brought the issue to their attention. The second time I went to Kelly's Cajun Grill at Arundel Mills Mall, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the one-piece only blackened fish meal again, which included mixed vegetables and noodles instead of fried rice, which cost $14.41 including tax. The blackened fish was warm, not very hot, and the noodles were lukewarm and thin, and some of them were dried out or hard at the ends, and the mixed vegetables were cold. I finished eating the entire meal, although I was not completely satisfied with it this second time around either. read more

I haven't been to arundel mills mall since my college days. Sooo much has changed especially store wise!!, we grabbed dinner from here soon as I saw on Google all the restaurants and I Prayed!!! Please let this location have Blackened chicken and Bourbon chicken and guess what it did!!!... upon my excitement from seeing Inside Out 2 and then having dinner at Kelly's!!! was pure JOY!!..none of the other Kelly's locations has the blackened chicken and bourbon staple just lemon and Mandrin. I got blackened chicken with extra bourbon sauce on the side!! with steamed veggies, My Bf got bourbon chicken with the lo mein. The service was attentive and suggestive and helpful, the Ambience was very chill and people were enjoying themselves with their families at the Food court of many spots!.. I did some shopping at Arundel Mills Mall over Memorial weekend and stopped by here, located in the dining pavilion, for lunch. I was going to try the lemon chicken, but just my luck, they didn't have it. In it's place was mango chicken. I should have been adventurous and tried it, but decided to stick with my usual bourbon chicken. For my sides, I got the potatoes and fried rice. The chicken could have used more sauce and salt, and the fried rice was bland. The potatoes were good. I would get that again. read more

I notice their food containers are smaller than before. I ordered the cajun chicken with double fried rice. Thought the food tasted just fine and had enough to eat the following day. This place is so underrated. I came across it when I was walking around the food court and they were handing out free samples of their bourbon chicken. Godddammm this was so good. So I ordered one of their meals that was fried rice and 2 entrees. My 2 were bourbon chicken and fish. The chicken was so juicy and the sauce they had gave it so much flavor. It was a bit salty though. After finishing 3/4 of the chicken, the sauce became too over powering. But other than that this place is great. The fish crispy just enough and the rice had a very nice texture. They give large portions and all for around $8. This is my go to place for food when I'm in this mall. Worst customer service in the food industry ever. Do not bother spending your money at this facility. The most neglected stakeholder in this establishment is the customer. They could not accomodate a basic request for condiments from the customer which is salt and pepper. Nor did they have salt and pepper in to go paper satchets, but also failed to provide them from the kitchen and just nodded their heads in negation when asked for this. It is hard to believe a food establishment does not carry these basic condiments. Also the staff kept talking amongst themselves in a language other than English in the presence of the customer about this issue which is highly perceived as a mark of utter disrespect. I give this place ONE star! There are so many things wrong with this place. First off, the people working there are clearly English as a second language. No offense, but it made communicating customer orders EXTREMELY difficult and initially they gave me another customer's order by mistake... TWICE. Then the food is not prepared well. The vegetables tasted like they were a little frozen instead of fresh and the chicken was definitely under cooked. It gets worse, I was overcharged. They charged me over $18 and I didn't realize it till I logged onto Yelp to write this very review. Lastly, but most importantly the customer service is TERRIBLE. I was given an attitude and multiple dirty looks by staff. Then they began to talk about me and other customers in their language. It was very disrespectful. I demanded to speak to the manager and was given a (917) 930-3662 of who I was told was the Manager named "Raymond". I immediately called the number... AGAIN there was an EXTREME language barrier, and the guy actually HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. Terrible Customer Service. DO NOT EAT HERE. I will never give this place my business after the rude service I got yesterday. I've been order bourbon chicken with rice here for years and usually get some broccoli with it. But for some reason the guy yesterday told me he would charge extra if I only got the broccoli and not the cabbage. I pointed out to him that this meal is supposed to come with two sides and I'm only ordering one let alone not even a full one. For some reason he stood pat on this. I have never written a review before, let alone never had a bad experience with Cajun Grill. This weekend May 28, 2021- May 29, 2021 I had the worst experience ever. On Friday, May 28, 2021, around 7:00pm, a hour before the mall closed. I went home and began to eat. I saw at the top my my takeout tray a price of black, straight hair. I wiped it off and left it alone. A few moments later I open my "Yum Yum Sauce" provided by them in clear plastic ramekins and saw another black, straight piece of hair. These black strands had white tips at the top meaning this is from a follicle. I took a picture of the strand in my sauce. I traveled to the mall Saturday, May 29, 2021, to speak to someone about my situation. I first asked if there was a manager on duty and it was known that they do not have a "manager". They brought over one of the cooks to speak to me. I showed the cook my picture of the hair in my sauce and my receipt and requested a refund. Both employees were refusing to give me a refund and said that the picture is not of hair. They claimed it to be a white string and they didn't see it in my food. I tried to explain that it is a black strand and that my hair is curly and bleached. I am an African American female so when my hair sheds it's either a Afro puff shed or curly shed. Also, you would not be able to see white in the light colored sauce. I also explained that the first time I saw hair I didn't pay it any mind but this was my second time in that time frame which is not okay. Also, the hair was in my sauce, which I pour on my food. That is still my food. The employees still refused to give a refund. As I looked around, every employee had black, straight hair with no hair nets. There should be hair nets worn around food at all times. The only covering they had was a SnapBack hat. There hair is still hanging out from the hat. I should have called security because of the troubles but I didn't it want to bring that much attention towards myself and they had already made me feel belittled and embarrassed. read more

I was in the mood for some bourbon chicken. This place fit the bill. The dish was good very flavorful with nice tinder pieces of chicken. The sauce was not too thick nor sweet but just enough balance to make a good combination of flavors. The vegetables are fresh Stream not stir fried like some other places. The Lotus Grill next door shares the counter and serving space, with practically the same food with a slightly different flavor profile. The Cajun food here is anything but, although you can't really screw up blackened steam tray chicken. It's tasty enough, but the best thing about it is that the portions are large enough that two people can split any meal. A bargain if you need a quick dinner before a movie. read more
