Discovered they have brunch on Sundays from 11-2. The crab claws were the star... flavorful, and seasoned just right with that classic Cajun kick. Paired it with a drink and it made for a super laid-back, satisfying brunch vibe. Ate on the patio bc if it's a pretty day, why not? Service was quick and friendly, which I appreciated since I was just popping in. Overall, a great go-to if you want something casual but still packed with flavor. I'll definitely be back when I'm craving seafood without the full sit-down commitment.

This gem of a restaurant is in the Patron Creek shopping center. The inside was very lively, and it seemed smaller than when we came last. We had a party of 6 people and were seated quickly. The server was super nice and shared his recommendations with us when we asked. My husband (the birthday boy) ordered the Voodoo Chicken, and I ordered the Redfish Rockefeller. Our friends ordered gumbo, shrimp and grits, pasta alfreadeaux, and I don't remember what the other person ordered. Everyone was very happy with their orders. My redfish was super flavorful and I cleaned my plate. You know when the conversation gets quiet, the food must be delicious! My husband wanted the Crème Brûlée cheesecake to go and he said it was tasty. The only issue we had was the length of time it took for our extra order to get processed. After a while, we learned the frying oil was being changed and it would take a while to heat back up. We thought that someone should have told us something earlier. But it all worked out. We definitely will be back!

It was delicious, and of course, I made a happy plate! They also provide bread while you wait for your food, and they'll bring you more upon request--a nice touch! My friend got the Fish Tacos with cabbage, charred corn salsa, and spicy sriracha sour cream, along with a side of fried spinach from their secret menu. The secret menu consists of about five items that are no longer on the regular menu, but they'll still prepare them if you ask. She said the fish was perfectly charred around the edges and absolutely delicious. Just make sure you check your teeth after eating the spinach! Our server, Kayleigh, did a great job taking care of us and made the experience even better. And congratulations to her--she graduates from cosmetology school next month! ‍ Wishing her all the best in her next chapter! Two great meals, great service, and another good experience!

If you want a flawlessly executed steakhouse dinner in the Birmingham area without the pretentious price tag, this is your place. I ordered the 12oz ribeye with a baked potato, and both were cooked exactly to order. My wife started with their huge, fresh house salad before tackling the massive 16oz ribeye and a fully loaded baked potato. Honestly, the 16oz cut looked like something straight out of The Flintstones--it was beautifully charred, incredibly juicy, and absolutely massive. The service matched the stellar quality of the kitchen. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kept my sweet tea topped off the entire night (which is no easy task!). We wrapped up the evening with a slice of chocolate cake. It was literally the size of a diner-style napkin dispenser--decadent, moist, and downright delicious. Budget-wise, it's a high-end steakhouse experience, so expect to spend a little money. However, compared to other premium steakhouses around Birmingham, their pricing is incredibly fair and easily on the lower end of the fine-dining spectrum. You get amazing portions, top-tier quality, and fantastic service. Highly recommended!

I sat on the patio, which made for a relaxing dining experience. Carlos took great care of me and provided friendly, attentive service throughout my visit. I started with the Oyster Pot, which includes four raw, four Rockefeller, and four chargrilled oysters. It was the perfect way to sample each style. While all three were good, the chargrilled and Rockefeller oysters were the standouts for me. The Rockefeller oysters were my favorite, so I couldn't resist ordering another dozen of those. If you're an oyster lover and can't decide which style to order, I highly recommend starting with the Oyster Pot. Between the great food, the relaxing patio, and the excellent service from Carlos, I'll definitely be back!

I choose the air conditioning over the entertainment but from what I was able to hear the young lady singing is very talented. When I came in I was NOT immediately greeted. It took a while to be acknowledged but once I was seated I had a great experience. My server was great and the atmosphere is really nice. It's dark with flickering hanging chandeliers. The place was clean with people actively cleaning. I started things off with a strawberry cheesecake martini and it was so good I wanted to curl up in a corner and tell them to keep them coming. It was like a dessert in a cup so if sweet isn't your thing, definitely skip this one. It was, however, not sickeningly sweet. It was perfect. I got a cup of the gumbo yaya, which has shrimp, crab, chicken, and sausage. It was some of the best gumbo I have had in a while. It was perfectly seasoned and had a little kick. Next, I had one of their specialties, the NOLA Chicken. You can choose grilled or blackened chicken served on top of creamy mashed potatoes with diced tomatoes, green onions, and covered in a delicious creamy lobster sauce with a side of grilled asparagus. It was delicious. The seasoning was spot on and the chicken was tender. The lobster sauce made the dish. My only complaint with the dish was a single stalk of reedy asparagus but the others were tender. My last course was the bread pudding. I really wanted to say how delicious it was but it was just good, not great. It was made from Gambino bread and had a warm whiskey cream sauce and chocolate drizzle but the pudding was missing something. Fruit like raisins maybe? It was just a little too bland for me. I'm definitely trying the key lime pie next time. I recommend this place for a nice night out

I wish it was served with tortilla chips instead of bread (which is nothing special) but never the less it was VERY tasty and had a hint of spice which wasn't too overbearing. The portion was very small for $15 though. The Bourbon Street Fettuccine on the other hand was very very bland. I had to add in my own seasonings and the shrimp and chicken tasted like they had no kind of seasoning. I would not get that again. Overall I would come back, especially if other items taste like the creole dip!

Our waitress was very, very nice and personable and knowledgeable. Any questions that I had she always had an answer for and she was very patient with me as I am kind of a picky eater. The crab claws were amazing the seasoning on the crab claws Were a hit. I ordered the redfish Rockefeller and my daughter ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Let me say the red fish Rockefeller has a distinct taste. It is very overpowering from the fish. It has a sweet onion taste and if you like that, then I would recommend this dish, but I didn't like it at all. Our waitress was very nice and told me to pick another dish. I decided to go with chicken dish. I think it's called Bayou chicken I'm not quite sure but it has a crawfish Louie sauce. I asked for the sauce on the side just in case I didn't like it and I'm glad I did. The sauce is thick, very thick like a gravy and was tasteless. I told her I would just pay for the entrée and not worry about sending it back, but the manager came over and asked me how was the dish and I told her I wasn't a fan but I would pay for it. He said no and brought me the menu again and told me to pick another entrée I was surprised because normally by this time you know, people are over it and, not really willing to please the customer but they were. I decided just to play it safe and go with fried shrimp which came with fries and coleslaw. I'm glad I chose this dish because I really enjoyed it. Also, the French 75 was really really good.
