She was kind, she was caring, she actually cared about our cat, and she told us things that no other vet had told us that as to why our cat had this break. My kitten ended up getting a femoral head ostectomy. Meaning that the head and neck of the femur had to be removed. She is amazingly priced compared to every other vet I have been to. A complete scam, I do not trust Dr. Kelly's mobile vet after my experience, and I will not be going back. I had called months ago for a quote for a cleaning for my one and a half-year-old Chihuahua. He has not had a teeth cleaning before due to his young age, so I did not know what to expect at first. I called the clinic and they had quoted $250-$350 for a cleaning. They also took a $50 deposit. Come the day of, they add what they say are necessary add-ons, but if they are truly necessary for the pets welfare why wouldn't these be included in the quoted price? On top of that he needed six tooth extractions despite not even being two years old. In all I left paying $450, and it was not until later that evening I remembered I had paid another $50 for the deposit. So $500 later, my dog is nauseous and can't even keep water down because he is throwing up from the anesthesia (which we were not warned may happen), and I am incredibly frustrated by the services we received. I hope you can avoid having an experience like mine. I will not be returning to this clinic. read more

I took both of my pups here to get the canine flu shot and the entire process of scheduling the appointment was A+ customer service. It is hard to call in for appointments while at work, so they allow texting (big plus) and they got back to me very quickly. I had to get 2 rounds of booster shots as required by my dogs' daycare and Kelly's even went as far as calling the daycare to ask a question on my behalf. Last but not least, I did not have access to a printer to print my dogs' vaccine records the day of, and they allowed me to text them screenshots of the records. I had my dogs teeth cleaned a few years ago and they did a great job. The only reason I brought my new dog back. Had I known the quality of the dental cleaning was not up to par, I would have gone elsewhere. My dogs back teeth were still dirty and her breath still smells. I took her back so they can inspect her mouth and was told by the veterinarian all looks good and it's normal for dogs to have bad breath and we should be cleaning their teeth two times a day. This was a wonderful experience! Had my kitten neutered and it went quickly, smoothly and professionally! The staff is wonderful and took great care of my kitten. Chop shop. Please, if you love your animals do not take them here. I had my dogs spayed on June 1st. About an hour after we dropped off our dogs we received a phone call from the Vet saying my completely healthy 2 year old boxer was bleeding out and they didn't know what happened but she didn't think she would recover she went on to tell me when she cut into the abdomen their was "copious amounts of blood " The vet was panicked and wanted us to come get her right away to take her to the emergency vet. I was in shock and very surprised by the phone call and just complied. We dropped everything we were doing to rush to get her and left my other two pups there so we could get my boxer evaluated immediately. We rushed her to the emergency vet and they deemed her critical and also stated they were unsure she would make it. The emergency vet started running tests and scanned her abdomen to look for a bleed. They admitted her overnight for monitoring of her vitals and blood work while continuing frequent scanning of her abdomen to determine if there was truly an abdominal bleed. All options were in the table as far as possibly needing another surgery or the need for a blood transfusion. She was at the hospital for 32 hours and they diagnosed her with complication under anesthesia but were unsure what truly happened to her. They expressed concern that something did not seem right. Thankfully she did not need the addition surgery nor the blood transfusion and has since recovered from this very traumatic event. My boxers is a petite boxer with a 6 inch incision in her abdomen now. She was extremely weak for an extended period. Now, I myself am in the medical field and oddly enough work in surgery. I truly understand what can happen in surgery and the complications that can occur. Initially I did not place blame and I wanted my pup to be okay. Afterwards, the situation did not sit with me well because I felt the doctor was trying to cover up a mistake she made. For her to write in her notes when she cut into the abdomen there was already "copious amounts of blood which took 8 surgical sponges to soak up" on a completely healthy normal behaving 2 year old dog just didn't make sense. Jamie would have been showing signs and symptoms of an intense internal bleed prior to this. I have worked in the medical field for 15 years and like I had expressed I understood complications can occur but be honest. Docs I've worked for have always been honest and did the right thing by helping with any post operative visits or care needed else where. This mistake happened during surgery while under their care. Sometimes things don't go right, they just don't and that's life. I know when a large enough vessel is cut things can get out of hand very quickly. I spoke to the practice manager who stated he doesn't feel they did anything wrong and for the small amount they charge for the spay he was not willing to help with the other vet bill. Instead he threw out a bunch of numbers on how many surgeries they do and how routine these surgeries are. Well, I will tell you what surgery is routine until it's not. Anatomy is all the same BUT different. Sometimes vessels or nerves or organs are in a slightly different areas than we expect. The real questions I have that no one seems to be able to answer is if she started her incision and there was "copious amounts of blood" why did she proceed with the 20 min procedure of spaying my dog? Why wouldn't you stabilize for transportation and get her to emergency right away? Why delay emergency treatment? All valid questions that the "practice manager" couldn't answer himself and he simply seemed to just shrug his shoulders and said "Great questions but I still don't feel we did anything wrong." He kept his 170 bucks I payed for the spay because he couldn't even offer to refund for the very poor job they did of spaying my dog. I spent $500.00 spaying all three of my dogs. One was completely fine, one they almost killed and deny any wrong doing, the other they over charged us saying she was still in heat even though she stopped her period 2.5 months before surgery. So please, these people do not care for your animals. All they care about is their jobs and getting surgeries in and out as soon as possible regardless of the lifeless pup they threw in my back seat. read more

Two other Gilbert vets were going to charge $1500 for just the cleaning not including any possible extractions, pain medication or antibiotics. We recently brought our 12 year old Shih Tzu to Dr Kelly's Surgical Van to get her teeth cleaned. Our regular vet gave us a very high estimate, that felt cost prohibitive. She needed 3 extractions. She came out of the cleaning just great, and it was very affordable. They have 3 vans in the valley, and they move to different parking lot locations (they do not come to you). You can call, email and text to schedule and work out details. This was a terrific, affordable option, and I will use them and recommend them in the future. The only change I would make in the future is requesting REAL pain medication for her. They gave her Carprofen which was described as being like Ibuprofen. That was not enough pain killer for having her molar extracted. The next day I called to get Tramadol for her because she whined all night. She sleeps with us, so nobody got any sleep, but mostly we felt horrible she was in pain. Anyway, if you are getting any significant tooth extractions or other work, I don't think Carprofen is sufficient. read more

Dental cleaning was advertised as $250 with $10-50/each for tooth extractions and medicine. However, when I inquired about making an appointment, I was quoted to $350-$650 for this cleaning session. That's more than what my vet, who takes xrays and doesn't randomly pull teeth, quoted me. Yes, my dog has never had a cleaning before, but we were never told to do so before. Took my small Morkie in on 11/24 for bladder stone surgery and they NEUTERED my dog on accident. They stated "they entered into the system wrong" no real apology about it and after they realized he was there for bladder stone surgery they but him back under anesthesia to do the bladder stone surgery. They did a real messy job , they cut my 11 pound morkie any-which way. They also still made me pay for the bladder stone surgery even after they neutered my dog on accident. Again just said sorry and took a small amount off the total amount. Fast forward to post surgery they advised me to leave the cather (spell check) in his private area for 2 weeks! after 6 days he caught an infection a terrible one. You think they called me back after I told them ? NO ! so since December 1st, I have been taking my dog to a different vet to resolve the problems this place has caused to my dog. This has been emotional for me and my dog and he has been miserable and in pain, and let us not forget his manhood was took without permission. My advice to people just spend the extra money this place does not care about your dogs. I will be suing for this malpractice now since I still have not been contacted about this tragic incident. I recently adopted my baby (Ashe the cat) from a shelter. She was 6 and came with severe dental issues. A trip to my normal vet quoted me $2700 for the required cleanings and extractions. I was stuck without the means to help my new baby get better...I felt horrible and guilty that I could not help her. Finally I decided to search for an alternative way to help her and found Dr Kelly's Mobile Surgery... complete with up front price listing, seemingly too good to be true. Naturally, I did research and found so many positive reviews. I sent a text and was set up quickly as well as given a price range that was detailed, fair and... something I could actually afford!!! Ashe had all her teeth extracted today and the customer service/ education/ updates I received were worth the $2700 my original vet was trying to charge me. As an experienced nurse, I can say that I was impressed with the cleanliness of the unit. It was clear that the staff truly cared about animals... it wasn't just a job to them. I left my baby there feeling confident that only the price was discounted, the care certainly was not. She's now resting here with me... toothless and on her way to feeling good again. Had 7am appointment for feline teeth cleaning. Dr was late by 15 minutes and took another 15 minutes to set up. Staff took my cat at 7:30am to start cleaning. Witnessed another small dog (off leash / no carrier ) taken in at same time. Also witnessed staff coming in and out of unit leaving door partially open / not fully closed. Was told 2-2:30 hours for procedure. Returned at 9:30 am to find feline teeth cleaning had not even began. My cat had been sitting in carrier for over two hours while doctor prioritized other surgeries scheduled after my appointment. Staff stated they were just going to start cleaning and it would be another 2-2:30 hours wait. I asked why staff hadn't called me to advise of delay so that I could reduce trauma to my cat. Blank stare....I requested return of my cat. Had to make several requests for deposit refund. So, after waiting 2 months and driving 1.5 hrs round trip for this appointment, it cost me money for no teeth cleaning, gas, time spent and trauma to my cat. FYI - I was sent text reminders begging for a review...I ignored the first and finally obliged on the second. read more
