They were so awesome with both my dogs. I had taken my female Husky there for all her shots. She and my male were both microchipped and he was updated on his shots. My one dog I was hesitant to leave because she's my Service Dog and it would have been my first time away from her that long. I had a long morning waiting for the call to pick the dogs up. My girl was second out, and I couldn't wait to hug her and love on her. They took such good care of her and made sure I understood all the meds. ‼I am BEYOND ANGRY‼ As a person who adores animals...and LOVES and adores MY OWN beyond comprehension, this place is below the worst. I've been to many places to have kittens spayed or neutered in my time as a cat owner and kitten fosterer (I looked to make sure that yes, it is indeed a real word). I took in a teenage male cat that had not been neutered yet. Most places had a waiting list so when this place said they could do it the next day I was happy and booked an appointment. Instructions were no food after 10pm and water was ok. We were to show up early the next morning with the cat in a carrier, sign in and they would call when it was time to pick him up. It started to get late so we called and were told that dogs go first, and cats wouldn't be done until later in the day. This is something I think you should be told beforehand! Finally they called and we went to pick him up. When we got home we opened the carrier and let him out to find him angry and soaking wet. Concerned that he was bleeding or something I did a thorough check of him only to find he was completely covered in urine and the bottom of his carrier had a quarter inch of urine free floating with a pee pad in it that we had put in the bottom before taking him. Since he didn't have water since 3am I know he had to have been sitting in it most of the day and I am angry that they did his surgery in this condition and then let him back in there after he had surgery without clearing it out and putting in a dry pee pad! I am beyond disappointed in the lack of communication and care this place shows their patients (animals & owners) I am a young adult who has a huge heart for animals, when a cat showed up on my porch hungry and hot I obviously took what I thought was a HE inside. about two weeks later I called around and this is the best price for schedule availability I could find so while creating my appointment I had given all my information including I wanted the cat to be Neutered (MALE - I didn't want him spraying) as well as my contact info, e-mail, etc. they told me "it is not first come first serve" I asked this 3 times to verify since I work a 8am shift Mon-Fri. When I showed up at 6:45am for my appointment, there was a huge line, where the reception told me "it's first come first serve after you sign in"... I would have liked to know this before being late to work. I rescheduled for my sister to bring in my cat. This brings us to today, my contact information is on my appointment, I should have been aware of any changes that occur during procedure since It is my cat. Late in the day not only did I find out my cat is not a Male, but was pregnant with 5, 3-4wk old kittens. Never was I called, never was I notified, and authorized any of what was to come. Knowing my cat was female I would not have proceeded with getting care, as I only wanted to Neuter. My sister picked up my cat with no aftercare medication only a receipt for $105 more than the original bill was (On my card without my direct authorization since I am card holder and owner of the cat this should have been communicated). Without communication they proceeded with the spay, and abortion of 5 kittens, no aftercare in medication. I am appalled and angry, I've called multiple vets, friends, and adoption agencies asking what to do and if this could have been avoided or was it my fault? they were also all appalled. Lesson learned is what we all came to the conclusion too. I would never send my animals to a place that doesn't communicate, test for pregnancy, or care about the aftercare of a traumatizing procedure as was done to this poor cat today. I'm disappointed in the staff for not being kinder and more understanding when I called upset today. I don't understand why such a heartbreaking situation could occur and nothing to be said about how to go forward and make it right? give her medication? talk to the owner? I'm devastated and i'm sure our fur babies who can't use their voices would have liked to have a voice for them (A OWNER, ME WITH ALL MY CARD INFO AND APPOINTMENT DETAILS). Do better! read more

My French Bulldog was suffering from sudden open Pyometra and needed same day surgery. I called around 7am and receptionist told me the Dr on site that day didn't do pyo spays but the dr tomorrow can, i took a next day appointment just in case and started to call more vets as i desperately needed the life saving surgery. While on the phone with another animal hospital maybe 5 mins after the original call, i got a call back from their office saying the vet on hand today actually DOES do pyo and that if i leave now i can come in (Chandler to N Phx). I made it there at about 8am and was welcomed and checked in within 20 mins. I got a call around 12-1pm saying i can get my girl anytime between 2-4:30 and i did just that with no issues or incident. Metro Pet literally saved my dog and even showed me the infected and inflamed uterus letting me know that it could have burst and turned septic if i waited longer. It's been 2 days and my girl is recovering great. It was so affordable as well i could not afford 8k the emergency vet quoted me when i went in to them at 1am the night before you can imagine how shocked i was. God Bless this office they really do care about getting people affordable quick care for their animals. read more

Had our Rottie Spayed there when she was a puppy and have had her vaccines there also. The staff is very good with all types of animals. Our fur baby is now going on 8 years old and has had some bladder control issues and we are getting her medication prescriptions filled there also. we quit going here. staff treats people like they are trash. on a vaccination visit, they charged me for an office visit/exam and didn't report any findings to me (I called about an issue and they said that it was noted in the file). Also, you have to now pay in advance. I really do NOT like how they speak to me... like I am a criminal tresspasser who doesnt pay the bills. And, the tone of their wording is not welcoming. They have spayed or neutered all our cats. The last three were kittens who were raised by us and lived outside. I have 5 inside cats so, yeah, I'm a crazy cat lady. The last three were males. They were quiet on the trip there, while there, they were very well behaved, they were quiet on the trip home and quiet while recuperating. These folks are better and cheaper than the Humane Society and they take such good care of the fur babies you put in their care. If they have questions, they call. They never assume you want them to do anything. They are caring and we wouldn't let anyone else care for our pets. High note: All three outsiders have been adopted by a wonderful couple who are now crazy cat people. I couldn't ask for better care and a better outcome for Sy, Billy and Mike. So I was looking for a place that has extensive experience spaying dogs ... and this place is exactly that! They have a system and it works kinda like a factory with compassion. I took my two year old Golden Retriever in the morning. Got a call in the afternoon that there was a small complication (she had thrown up post op). The employee assured me that it wasn't a huge deal, and that I'd just need to watch her closely for anything out of the ordinary. She was absolutely fine and recovered way sooner than expected (within a few days I couldn't stop her from running and jumping). So what this call did was assure me that this place is run right and with a ton of compassion. I HIGHY recommend this place! You have to make an appointment so book it way in advance! read more

Great and caring staff. Quick and cost-saving! Only thing I didn't know was the massive amount of animals that would be there upon check in. I just had not prepared myself for the decibel level. Also I would have loved to have known that it was first come first serve and that if you have a schedule to abide by, coming earlier may be better. I was thinking it was just a quick in and out check-in process. Process was:: come in and sign a clipboard of paperwork and hand to the person at the front desk. She enters it all in and then based On when my app got into the line, would be called back to see the vet. I waited for about 45 mins to be seen by the vet. The vet tech took us back and took his temp and checked his weight. Vet came in and gave the all good to go. After being seen by the vet they take the animal back and you come back between 3 & 4 to pick them up (unless they call and say otherwise). I was left a very nice message around 3pm that my pet did well in the surgery and was ready to be picked up. I really appreciated that touch since they didn't have to do this at all. The front desk girl (I'm sorry I can't remember your name) was super nice when I explained I'd never been through the process with neutering an animal before so she made sure to explain all the little things about the "rules" for after surgery Care. She also suggested that even though I could buy the cone of shame from them that there were also a nice variety at any pet store for about the same price. I went straight to Petco and bought an adjustable one since he's pretty small. It was 15. The one they sell are 14 but just standard. I paid $14 extra for them to give him some pain medicine for after the surgery. It came out to around $75. Such a great price!! Anyway, I will definitely be bringing my kitten in for her spay when she is old enough (front desk girl also helped me with this information ) and would recommend based on price and ease/level of service. read more

I can't express how amazing everyone here is! I brought my Boston terrier here for a spay everything went well! The day after surgery my puppy was exceptionally hyper so I called to let them know and to see if there is anything I could do! They were about to close but they went above any beyond to get her a prescription filled for medications to calm her during her healing process. if I could put 0 starts I would.. seems like a great place to get your pets fixed right? well I at least thought so me and my wife had taken our other fur babies in to this clinic w no issues until we brought our female cat to get spayed. they have pick up time between 5 and 530 i told the lady working id be back at 5. then a few hours later I received a text asking when we would be picking our cat up. told them the same thing I told them first then upon arriving at the clinic the tech brought out our cat and immediately I was hit w the smell of feces. after I paid I checked in her crate w out opening it to see if she had went potty and I didn't see anything once we got home she had shit all over herself and the crate and had been sitting in it for God knows how long.... WITH A FRESH INCISION!! how cruel! do not take your pet here they do not care about your pets well being read more

if there was a zero star, it would be a zero star this vet literally killed five babies if you want your babies murdered go here no FBI no security no police pretty easy operation. If you go here you can basically kill whatever you want. Just give them to the doctors. we had recently brought our pregnant cat there, which we were not aware was pregnant. Without asking, they took the babies out. then called us and proceeded to tell us she was pregnant and if we wanted to proceed with the neuter and said that it was a possibility, she could have the kittens, but we had to wait three days to see if she would lose too much liquids, then proceeded to tell us how far along she was get us excited about how much longer we had to wait then once we got home, we called in concerning to the cat, and they had told us as if it was not a big deal that they actually just took the babies out and there was no more pregnancy. read more

Absolutely the most caring, kind staff! We took our lil Anabelle here to get spayed and this clinic was very inexpensive. In and out and all ok! Unfortunately after 3 days I quit checking the wound site and on day 8 checked and she had chewed stitches out and had a deep hole where the stitches once were. Our fault for not getting a cone after they suggested it. Called this place back and the girl that answered Checked With vet and he said bring her in now. They had To go in and remove all the infected tissue. She came home with 2 drains and pain meds and antibiotics. The vet was amazing and gave my husband step by step instructions and she went home with a cone this time! I would highly recommend this vet and their staff! If I Could give More than 5 stars I would! Less than 90 Dollar for the 2nd surgery and meds! Would have been 1000 at most other places! read more

My fur baby needed to have her teeth cleaned. I stumbled across the clinic by reading a post while checking into non-anesthesia dentals. My Lila had a loose tooth so the "non anesthesia" cleaners recommended traditional cleaning for her. I was shocked at the super reasonable price and impressed with the care from the staff. Check in was not as bad as I thought after reading some of the reviews. They called me back in the afternoon with an update of how well she had done. I picked her up at 3pm and with her cleaning, pulling one tooth, and medication given during the dental, the total cost was $100! They treated my little girl with TLC and genuinely cared about her. I would definitely be bringing her back in the future for all her cleanings! read more

I called in Monday and booked my Bengal in to be spayed Tuesday morning. The lobby is clean and super cold which, I like because it was literally like 112 and humid that day in Phoenix monsoon heat. The spay was cheap, the procedure took about 15 minutes and my cat was ready to be picked up a few hours later. My Bengal got vaccinated for about $29 as well. The staff was courteous and there's plenty of parking in the lot on the side strip mall. I would recommend them for any small-medium procedures but they're not a full service clinic, sadly so nothing big. Their website has a list of their services that they offer. read more

After bringing a second animal here I feel that I have to update my review. I brought our dog in for pre-dental work and she came back with a tick on her. We have never had ticks or fleas on our pets, but she came back with one. Thankfully I caught it right away, but its still gross and now Ive paid for pre-dental work but don't feel comfortable taking her back there for the actual dental work, so Im out that money. I saw on their sign in the lobby that if an animal comes in with fleas or ticks they treat them for $8, but Im sure that some of the strays that come in have ticks or fleas and they don't catch it. I called them to let them know what happened and ask what the best treatment was that I should use on my pets and if I could come buy the medicine they give animals for ticks to treat my pets. The girl who answered the phone told me that she'd only been there 2 weeks and didn't know, but she'd ask. I was then put on hold for 10 minutes. When she got back on the phone she told me I could bring my pets in there to get vaccinated (they're up to date on vaccines, so why would I do that?) and then they would be willing to evaluate them for tick medication that I could buy. I asked if there was anything over the counter they'd recommend and she didn't know. I can no longer recommend this place and will be taking my pets to the spay neuter clinic in Cave Creek from now on. We had a great experience here getting a stray cat we took in sterilized. We have used a different place in the past, but they were booked for a month, and this clinic was able to get us in the next week. The prices are very reasonable and I was impressed with the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional & caring towards our pet and family. Be aware that your pet will be groggy & confused when you pick them up- it's normal & to be expected. Our kitty healed up swiftly and we're so thankful they were able to help us prevent her from having anymore kittens affordably! read more

I am a first time dog owner so I was worried about this experience on getting my pup nurtured. I didn't know how he was going to feel or react but the staff was sure to answer all my questions and I felt safe dropping off my pup. The staff gave me a warm welcoming and they were super friendly. When I picked up my dog I was sent home with medication and instructions. I was expecting a quiet evening for my dog to recover from surgery but it was the complete opposite. Hands down the best clinic in town! Rescuing multiple dogs, my family has used spay/neuter services from many valley veterinarians. They've all been ok, some worse than others. This place is now the only place we will go. My wife is a respected breeder of champion line Sphynx cats, and this is the only place we bring our naked babies and the only place we recommend. Doctor is great, staff is wonderful. Sphynx cats are notoriously tricky healers and can react to medications and anesthesia, but with them, we've not had a single issue. They don't offer things you don't need, and they genuinely care about your pet. Bring your pet here!! read more
