This is a very cozy and warm restaurant. My team of 21 had just had a canoeing and kayaking experience and we were very hungry! We were lucky to have Kelsey great us from the main street of the town with a very warm welcome and invited us into the restaurant. The restaurant is huge, spacious, and has some very interesting artwork. The restroom is very beautifully decorated and has a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the homemade chicken sandwich and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Kelsey told me that she made it herself and i honestly appreciated the personal touch! It had pecan seeds and other vegetables in the sandwich, plus an oat bread, and i found this to be very tasty! But the highlight of the day was Kelsey's highly recommended carrot cake. It is truly the most delicious carrot cake that i have ever eaten! I don't know what her recipe is but truly it was undeniably awesome! Charming is the best word that I can find to describe Kelsey's On Main! From the decor to the filling and absolutely delicious southern-style cooking and grandiose desserts, it is absolutely charming. I came with a group of 20 other individuals and so we were permitted to dine in the party room which could have easily fit 30 more individuals. It was a beautiful room and I recommend for anyone looking to host a shower or similar event. I had the southern-style catfish and it was easily the best catfish I had ever had, in addition to a great hot fudge cake for dessert. The service was fantastic as the servers were friendly and attentive. I do not recall my drink being empty once! The building itself has a great history as well. The menu offered much variety. The venue offered much pleasant feelings. The Venue was adorable. The staff was nice and efficient. The owners were charming. The dessert was AMAZING. I really enjoyed my dinner at Kelsey's on Main. I was with a group of 20 and the food was served in great timing. I had a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. The lettuce and toppings tasted fresh. I had a pleasant meal. For dessert, I had the Blondie, which is vanilla ice cream situated on top of a vanilla brownie with almonds. I tasted a bit of caramel as well. It was Terrific! I definitely recommend. I also go the chance to meet the owners of Kelsey's on Main, Kelsey Thompson and her mom, Laura. They were really sweet and charming. Where do I even start? Kelsey's was possibly one of the CUTEST and most enjoyable café experiences I've had in Eastern Kentucky. The building, which the café is located in, is a restored law office--which is imperative to the overall ambiance and charm of Kelsey's. A few items of the interior decorum include an antique Jackson drug store sign that it in itself takes you back into time. Then my favorite part of Kelsey's was the law library located in the banquet room of the café. Other than the design of the café the dessert that I indulged in with a glass of fresh cold milk was just as satisfying. I can't wait for the next time I'm in Jackson so I can stop into Kelsey's and be able to appreciate the character once more. read more

This has to be one of the cutest cafés I've ever eaten in! The interior decor is absolutely breathtaking! The room I dined in had a restored brick wall with Aqua highlights surrounding it. In addition, they had a huge library of books displayed on half of the room which was really cute and historic! The food is just as amazing as the interior design! I ordered the hot brown and it was so rich and cheesy! I recommend getting this if you are super hungry and not counting calories . I also had the carrot cake, which was great! Kelsey's on Main is a wonderful place that serves authentic Southern Meal. The interior decoration is very elegant. The top ceiling is very tall and decorated with "Fleur de Lis" on the corners. They had a huge library of old books and beautiful teapots displayed on half of the room which was provided a great ambiance. I ordered the Hot Brown, which was very cheesy but delicious. The great meal ended with Hot Fudge Cake which was a great way to end an amazing day. The servers were very freindly and catered my group of 21 people very well. Kelsey's On Main has both a great aesthetic and great food! The restored building has many of its original features such as a beautiful hardwood floor and ornate ceiling, but it holds a modern feel with a chalk board for visitors and lively paint job. I can't describe how interesting and unique their space is! I ordered a Hot Brown (my first one!), and Kelsey's did not disappoint. It was delicious, filling, and yummy. Very inviting and spacious cafe-style resturant. Very "Pinterest-inspired" decor that adds to the home-style feeling. I had a delicious grilled chicken salad that was very satisfying for a reasonable price. Topped off my healthy meal with a not so healthy but extremely satisfying strawberry cheesecake. I highly recommend the cheesecake it was one of those rare experiences where you find yourself taking smaller and smaller bites out of fear of eating such a fantastic treat too quickly. read more

After spending an afternoon Kayaking , we ran into this local restaurant in Lee County. I was glad that The owner Kelsey, was able to have our seating readying for our party of 21. Iftar in eastern Kentucky !!! We broke our fast in Kelsey's on Main. We were fasting and we ordered from here for our Iftar . I had a buffalo chicken salad that I did not really like much , but the grilled chicken was so good. For dessert I ordered cheesecake and my friends ordered hot fudge . The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I came in with a party of twenty-one, and they were getting our orders in no time. The ambiance of the restaurant was homey and welcoming, and the overall experience there was pleasant. I ordered the meatloaf with a baked potato and green beans. While I've had way better before, it was still a very good meal. Heads up though, if you don't enjoy sweet meats, I would not recommend ordering the meatloaf. read more

Walking into Kelsey's was great . The Decor of the place was amazing . There were about 20 of my colleagues and still the servers were able to make sure that we were taken care of as quickly as possible . I had the Cajun catfish along with macaroni and cole slaw . This place was the cutest restaurant I have ever been to. If someone asked me what my dream restaurant would look like this would be it. Besides the great decor, Kelsey's also had great food. I got the blackened catfish which had just a touch too much seasoning. I would recommend getting the hot brown and a piece of carrot cake for dessert. read more
