Gas that leaked from under my truck into my garage and across my driveway.

I took my 2023 Tundra in to get a safety recall completed. There was an issue with the fuel line rubbing and potentially starting a fire. They had my truck all day for a two hour fix after I brought my truck in for my 8:30 AM appointment. When I got the truck home later in the evening, I noticed a gas smell. I couldn't see anything, but in the morning the gas smell had permeated into the house. When I backed my truck up out of the garage, multiple gallons of fuel spilled everywhere in my garage and across my driveway. It turns out when they performed the safety recall, they reused the clamp on the fuel line and it either broke or wasn't attached properly. They had my truck towed to the shop the next morning, and apologized profusely. They promised to top the gas tank off, wash the underside of the truck, and send someone out to pressure wash my garage and driveway. They again had my truck the entire day and not did not return it until after 6 PM. While they did top off the gas tank, they did not clean the underside of the truck, and they have reneged on their promise to send someone out to pressure wash my garage and driveway. It took a few days for the gas smell to get out of my house, and it's still very strong in the garage over a week later. While I understand mistakes happen, there has been absolutely no follow through on their part to make it right. And the service people acted like I was bothering them when I would call to find out what the status of things was. Totally unprofessional.

This review is to highlight the negligence that exists at Ken Garff Toyota. We've purchased three vehicles from this dealer and in one way or another, the service department always finds a way to absolutely destroy the paint on each vehicle. For context, we always ask them to NOT wash our vehicles when we bring them in for a service. They don't hand wash vehicles and they have "professional detailers" that don't know the first thing about washing a vehicle properly. Well, each time they got their hands on one of our vehicles, they inevitably destroy the paint with scratches and micro swirls by running it through the wash without pressure washing first. A few days ago, they got our third vehicle. I spoke to the service manager and he first tried to say that his car wash wasn't the issue. I explained that it certainly was the issue due to the lack of pressure washing prior to sending it through the wash. As dirty as my vehicle was when I brought it in for service, why would someone look at that and immediately put it through the wash? Use some common sense. There's absolutely zero standards in overall car care at this dealership. See for yourself in the pictures in my review. Unfortunately I don't have pictures from the second vehicle they ruined, but it was similar to how bad the green one was.

Do not do business with Ken Garff Ford Cheyenne…read more Our experience with this dealership has been incredibly disappointing, and we feel completely misled. When we purchased our vehicle, the finance rep, Eric Harms, sold us an expensive extended warranty by describing it as essentially bumper-to-bumper coverage. He specifically gave us examples like if the electronics or DVD player failed, it would be covered. He even gave another example, saying that if we accidentally damaged the upholstery with something sharp in our pocket, the warranty would pay to replace it. Those statements gave us every reason to believe we were purchasing great coverage, so we agreed to spend thousands of dollars on the warranty. Fast forward to today, and we now have an issue with the vehicle's electronics--the exact type of repair we were told would be covered. Instead, we've been told it is not covered under the warranty. What makes this even worse is that we were never given a copy of the actual warranty contract when we purchased the vehicle. The only paperwork we received showed what we paid for the warranty and how to contact the warranty company. There was nothing explaining what was actually covered or excluded. It wasn't until I called the warranty company myself that I was finally provided a copy of the contract. If we had been given the contract at the time of purchase, we could have reviewed the coverage ourselves instead of relying on the verbal promises made in the finance office. We feel the warranty was misrepresented, and the lack of transparency regarding the contract only reinforces that feeling. A dealership should be honest about what customers are buying and provide the documentation needed to make an informed decision. I would not consider buying a vehicle or an extended warranty from Ken Garff Ford Cheyenne, learn from our experience. Demand the complete warranty contract before you sign anything, and don't rely on verbal explanations of what is supposedly covered. We certainly won't be doing business with this dealership

Service advisor literally said, well if you dont want to pay for them, ill just have the technician remove the filters, ENGINE AIR, FUEL FILTERS, and OIL FILTERS Dont bother taking a vehicle with FORD maintenance package here. They are gonna nickel and dime you ALL THE WAY. I have a 2024 superduty, with ford premium maintenance. According to the dealer, i owe labor on all items they replace / maintain because i "requested" them in the service ticket, air filter, cabin filter, oil filter, fuel filter, etc. bottom line if you as the customer "request maintenance" they see an open ticket to charge you....... Irregardless if you are in the MANUFACTURER service interval or not. I wish i had another option, THE ONLY black eye on the community of cheyenne is this so called crookery if a dealership.

You cannot call directly to the bank, you call an 800 number and have to horse around with an annoying automated system to get a basic question answered. I'd recommend using them, but if you have any urgent needs your best bet is to just go in and talk to them instead of trying to get an answer over the phone, which in 2026 that seems rather unacceptable.

Based on spend after receipt I am likely far behind! This time I found a truck in Cheyenne, WY that looked interesting. It had a diesel engine and they can be really expensive to repair. And it is 26 years old. I wanted an independent set of eyes on the truck locally. After reading their reviews on YELP, I decided to contact CARS (Cheyenne Auto Repair & Service-clever, right?). Rachel answered the phone and she was amazing. Rather than treating me like the lunatic I am, she was kind, thoughtful and asked good questions. She also provided excellent and timely follow up. While it is not a service they typically offer, she arranged for one of their certified diesel mechanics, Dylan, to stop by the dealership and give the truck the once over. His review was thorough and included an estimate of what he recommended in terms of repairs. He is calling me later to chat about the truck and his report as a measure of follow through. I could not have been happier with the friendliness, professionalism, quality and speed of service. Outstanding company and outstanding people. I would highly recommend CARS for your car services. Thanks so much for your help guys!

Instead of properly diagnosing the bent suspension component, they just threw parts at it. They charged me $731 to replace both front control arms, which completely failed to fix the negative camber. They also charged me a $55 diagnostic fee to "inspect tires and check for cause of uneven wear," and then completely failed to fix the problem causing the uneven wear. To make matters worse, they returned my car with extensive body damage that wasn't there before. There are strange, veiny scratch marks everywhere across my front left quarter panel and the driver's door. I have no idea what happened while my car was in their bay, but it is entirely unacceptable. Mechanically, their work was just as careless. They handed the car back to me with a crooked steering wheel. They didn't perform an alignment after replacing the control arms, which is basic mechanical negligence and will quickly ruin my tires. In fact, on the invoice written by John and Will, they actually printed "DOES NOT include alignment" for the control arm replacement - admitting they left a major suspension job incomplete. When I asked about it, they told me to hold off on the alignment until I paid them to replace both front wheel hubs. Wheel hubs do not need to be replaced in pairs, and replacing a hub doesn't affect alignment anyway. They failed to find the actual bent part, scratched up the side of my car, and tried to hold my car's drivability hostage with terrible mechanical advice to upsell me on unnecessary work. Take your vehicle to a real shop that respects your property and doesn't try to scam you.
