The little cakes I asked for were colorful and beautifully decorated in exactly the colors and shapes I requested, they added a wonderful touch to the presentation and vibe of the wedding. They were of course also delicious, both the regular ones and the gluten free ones. Speaking of gluten free. We had multiple gluten free guests including the maid of honor, Valeriya took care to make sure that the gluten free cakes were kept properly separated to avoid cross contamination, she also managed to make them a different shape and color than the others to make them easy to spot, while somehow managing to keep them beautifully on theme. Our gluten free guests were floored by how tasty they were. Valeriya manages to make a wonderful gluten free dessert that avoids the common shortcomings of a lot of gluten free baked goods, and that really brought an extra spark of joy to our guests. I could go on but long story short, I recommend From V with Love Cakes 100 times over. We went with the strawberry vanilla bean and for gluten free the raspberry pistachio flavors and loved both, but she has many others to choose from to match your tastes and occasion. I will hopefully never get married again, but I'm sure to have other big events in my future, and I'll plan to reach out to V for all of them.

Even though I shared the exact placement she cut up the name and stuck them to the cake board by removing the backing which she wasn't even supposed to remove. She even missed one letter from the name during pickup and didn't even notice until my husband pointed out. I would have appreciated if they reached out to me if the toppers were confusing. The cake was also disappointing since the jelly part didn't thaw even though it was picked up at 12 PM and was in the fridge(not freezer) until 5:15 PM and then it was completely outside until 7 PM. The jelly part was very hard to cut and such a waste of money, since I paid for a premium mousse cake. I have two stars because she agreed for the partial refund for the messed up topper. The refund was only after I reached out to her about the cake after our party. I have added the inspiration and the output(name changed for privacy).

It is big enough for two people. I generally eat a quarter at a time. Hubby eats half at a time. So, one bundtlet is sufficient. The frosting is sweet cream cheese. The cake is always moist. These cakes seem to last forever in the fridge. Our top favorite is the chocolate, chocolate chip. Our second choice is red velvet. The seasonal flavors are good, too. After i went cake tasting and trying to place an order the owner told me my cake would cost $1015 for a 8,10,12 and she mentioned because of the $8 per slice for 120 guests. How does that make sense. I would have appreciated having all pricing information upfront. I also scheduled a cake tasting, but the owner did not attend because I did not send a "see you there" email beforehand. I was under the impression that the appointment was already scheduled and confirmed. If additional confirmation was required, I believe the owner should have reached out to verify the appointment rather than assuming it was canceled. I ultimately decided to go with another bakery due to ongoing communication issues throughout the ordering process. After discussing my wedding cake and expressing that I wanted to move forward, I was told I would receive a call to collect payment and formally place the order. The owner then went on vacation, and I waited for that call, but it never came. A week passed without any follow-up from her. Then I received an email that she needs to call me, and asked for my number again. So this whole time she didn't even have my number saved when I already emailed it to her and I even texted it to her through her employee's phone in the cake shop when I was at the tasting. I told her I moved on with another bakery and her response came off bitchy. How she waited for me and I delayed the payment.. girl that was you, you don't even have my number saved. She even said she cancelled my order.. an order was never placed because she never called me.. She said it tasted gritty almost like they used shortening instead of real butter. I got a salted caramel cupcake and the frosting was overly sweet, but I enjoyed it and thought the cake was perfectly moist. The store was empty and clean when we arrived and the woman at the counter served us quickly and efficiently. If we need cupcakes in a pinch we could come here, but there are a lot more delicious cupcakes between this restaurant and where we live.
