He spent lots of time with us at the showroom and on the phone. When we wanted something he didn't have in stock he helped us find it. Then made sure he priced it better than everyone else. He was a pleasure to deal with, very courteous and as mentioned he gave us great options and pricing. Because he is a seasoned veteran of the tile/marble/granite industry he was able to give us great suggestions when we were stuck. He never pressured us to buy more expensive stone, instead he listened and helped us find what we loved, irrespective of price. Delivery and installation were seamless and on time, a rarity in today's world. Danny and his crew were pleasant, professional, hard working, clean and most of all did a fabulous job of installing. I'm not sure how they've accomplished such a fantastic rating. I only have negative things to say. I had different people request quotes for the same material and for some reason we all got different numbers within a short period of time. So I found the same quartz from someone else for 20% cheaper I had them do most of the job, but I still needed a backsplash. I call Kennedy a couple weeks later and ask for the backsplash . He asks for my info , pulls up my file , and then takes a pause. He asks me if I went somewhere else for the quartz and I honestly replied with yes . He said I'm not even going to touch this job and that I'm a customer and that he will stay "respectful." And then he hung up on me. Business is business and they aren't a good business. He lies , tries to grab every opportunity to milk you for a little more , and it's very obvious. Then he says "I always help my locals." This dude is only bad vibes . Compare your quotes from him to other tile shops , I'm sure you'll find it cheaper somewhere else. read more

I recently used Kennedy Marble and Tile for my kitchen countertop. Kevin was who I worked with, he was very easy to work with! I'm very happy with my countertop. The guys that installed it were efficient and took COVID precautions. The installer, Danny even came back twice for measurements and to make sure I understood where angles were. The only reason for not giving 5 stars : -I had to reach out myself to make sure I got on their schedule though they told me they would call me. - I received a quote for the countertop (which I thought was super fair) but the quote was for a countertop with a seam which I didn't know. They quoted me a price that was 35% higher for one without a seam afterwards. I should have def asked when they quoted me but had no clue that I should! Would I use them again, YES, without a doubt. Now I know the right questions to ask and am so much more well versed in countertops! read more

I worked with Kevin at Kennedy Tile and he was very easy to work with! It took about two days to get the installer, Dany, in to take measurements of the kitchen countertops. Then he returned about a week later to install. It was a pretty easy job but he was diligent and made sure to measure everything twice. Highly recommend Kennedy Tile for the ease of working with them, quality of their products and their customer service. My contractor recommended them as a place to get granite saddles for a bathroom product and I've since used them for multiple projects in the past few months. Always great prices, quick turnarounds (2 days on average), great service and product. What a fantastic selection of granite, marble, and tile! I was stunned by the amazing variety and saw interesting granite slabs that would NEVER be available at bargain box stores. And the prices seemed totally reasonable to me! These guys make the Home Depot countertop section look like a joke! I was getting my kitchen renovated, and I had visited numerous stores to find a quartz counter top at a decent price. Kevin showed me the selection at the warehouse, and Statuario elegance was the quartz that I was sold on. It is very elegant and sold at the best price. Kevin has amazing customer service and offers the best tips and suggestions. He even came to do the measurements twice. I was referred to Kennedy by a friend who is a designer for a good selection and competitive pricing and she was totally right. I just finished building out my UWS Manhattan kitchen and Kennedy was a main supplier! I purchased my kitchen floor tile (beautiful tile) from them and they had the best pricing in town by far, and then I wound up going back to them for my quartz counters (purchase, measurement and installation) and they are beautiful. The salesman barely spoke to me, including upon my arrival, just followed me around. Any questions I asked received one word answers. When I said I was leaving with nothing, he slammed a granite sample we were walking around with on the back of a truck REALLY loudly for no apparent reason. Graffiti-covered place skeeved me out. Big selection, yes. Not worth it to experience this place and the "salesman". I'm actually a little frightened! read more

It's important to ensure that the return policy is specified on the receipt as it seems to change on a per purchase basis. I purchased an order of chair rail tiles and Lily, the woman at the front desk, told us that we could return the order with a 15% restocking fee. When I came in to pick up the tile the color was completely different from the sample we chose in the store. When I wanted a refund she said it wasn't possible because this was a special order. After about 5 minutes of arguing she relented... not worth the effort. You're better off going to Home Depot. read more

I had this company installed granite in years past. Needed them to come back for a service call and reset the granite as seam has separated. Not blaming them and was trying to get service call for about one year. Was told numerous times (lost count) that they would have someone do a service call. First person never arranged. Then they gave me Andrew who said he would take care of probably 5-6 times. Never calls me, I have to call him. Did not give anybody a hard time. Been dealing with Rudy at Kennedy Tile and he has told me he would get another person (3rd one) but never heard back. Would never ever recommend this company. I can't believe they have any decent reviews. They have great selection of granite but there service is very poor. Worst service I have ever encountered. After posting this review, I called Hamburg Supply, who I originally contracted with for the granite counter. They purchase from Kennedy Tile. Kennedy Tile also provides the installer so you would think Kennedy Tile would have handled my follow up work. They knew Hamburg Supply was one of the outlets who uses them. Once I followed up with Hamburg Supply and wanted to speak with Joe, the owner, things got moving. He was out but Sandy at his business was great. She got Kennedy Tile to handle within a few days. Ramon, an installer called me back right away and was at my home within a week and did a magnificent job resetting the granite and even put a coat of protection on it. Cost was $180 but it was never about the cost just getting the work done in a professional and timely manner. I understand that Rudy from Kennedy Tile has done this before in his treatment of customers so I can say this...I would never use Kennedy Tile again after this but would definitely recommend Ramon as an installer. Definitely need to know what you want when looking as salesmen are no help at all except to agree with every word I said to speed things along. Friends and contractors recommended this place but my experience was horrible. I thought the prices were competitive but the quality and service was terrible. A small section of countertop was 1/2 inch off on a 1 ft. base . "that a 1/2 inch per ft. also shorter then other side and 1/8 inch thinner .Oh yes I forgot to mention my slide in stove happens to be where this mistake is .Months went by with numerous exuses why I was next on the list to have new template done to replace. Every time I spoke to them they were so convicing and appologetic so over time I realised my naiveness.. I fixed it myself , cut countertop edge straight and polished. good thing they didn't give me the edge i wanted so easy to polish. To bad they didn`t come thru for this little section of countertop . Because if they did I would have showed them how reasonable I am And not have them fix the seam at the sink.Yes the seam is great but again ,1/8 inch difference between both slabs used . And sink hole looks like it was done free hand with no template. One last thing .Since I found polishing stone to be easy I`m going to polish out a couple large scratches in my peninsula. read more
