The rates they were going to charge were above the posted online rates for Cobb county for 2024 (general Google search) adding tow, anbd storage. I was quoted over $600 for the tow and storage for 6 days and no break down of charges were provided when I asked counter clerk. So I had no idea how they came up with that amount. 1500$ later 40$day and 500$ for tow and administration fee!! and this place has been nothing but a headache and let me just tell you. I have a very souped up very nice truck not!!! Not only did they not tow it they got in the MY TRUCK and they drove IT away in it. I have a tracker and cameras on my truck, I am able to see what they were doing and who was driving it because the key has to be inserted and cranked and you have to be accelerating for my trackers to have an accurate read. not only did I see them drive away in my truck. I also have footage of them driving away in my truck and then on top of that things were missing from my truck"very expensive designer items" they punctured my heater hose and coolant hose all of my coolant/oil and has leaked out my truck, which is more money. already in the midst of getting replaced. i just left getting my truck serviced for an oil change, "detailed" brakes etc NOTHING WRONG WITH My truck PRISTINE CONDITION BUT now I have all these hoses hanging FROM my truck from under it in the front. I have called now twice and don't forget I called so many times before that every single day to be able to authorize my TRUCK TO GET pickED up they were not letting it happen. They NEVER WOULD ANSWER phone calls OR MAKE UP EXCUSES OR NEVER CALL BACK. We had to go to the police station and get a notary done and almost put out a complaint or charges because they were not letting me get my truck and then of course it comes back WITH damages with dings in iT SCRATCHES, I was told that I was gonna get a call back from the manager, he was gonna pull footage XYZ. NOTHING He still hasn't done that I've called back again and now he's not in so when we reached out to Cobb they were able to get us the video footage WE were able to see inside and outside of my truck which LOOKS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WHEN pickED up and it looks completely different than it did when it went in there.they can see that they messed up . This review site selects descriptive items that I am unable to de-select. It adds "Service Requested" (definately not requested by me), "Quality" which was terrible, and "value" which it is not. BACK STORY: Our charity had permission (in multiple texts) to park some trucks in a fairly vacant Sandy Springs shopping center while providing hurricane recovery assistance in NC. Without warning, the property manager Bethany who is a manager of the shopping center owned by Stream Realty Partners, revoked our agreement and ordered all vehicles immediately towed. That sudden impound was undertaken by Kennesaw Wrecker. While the impounding is not Kennesaw Wrecker's fault (they were simply doing what they were asked by Stream Realty Partners), they were not nice about it and extremely uncooperative. Despite paying over $8k to Kennesaw Wrecker, they wouldn't provide itemized charges for all of their charges. They kept all of our wheel chocks (36 sets of chocks), a couple of our trailer hitches to include the pintle hitch which we need to remove one of the trailers. They also damaged a couple of our trucks and failed to provide all receipts. I asked for the manager's name, David Gillstrap, many times, called him numerous times but he would never return my call. I was able to obtain a single email from Diane who will not respond to my multiple emails. Regarding the damage, attached is one of the bumpers they damaged. I would add that a medium sized truck and trailer with building supplies was towed by another tow company but no one knew who that towing company was for two weeks.....all the while storage fees were being assessed. The office staff is the absolute worst ever. They supposedly have a policy (not in writing) about needing 25 hour notice to release cars. Meanwhile they are charging you storage fees. They don't release cars over the weekend. They are completely rude and u professional. They don't record anything or write it down. It took several phone calls with the same person for a "verbal" authorization to release our car to our insurance company. We sent the police report and drivers license (09@8 report shows ownership) and the co tinted to ask for proof of ownership...like an insurance card. Insurance does not show ownership...it only shows the policy holder. This then accrued at least 5 more days worth of storage fees because a weekend was involved. Regardless they are horrible. Had o known how awful they would've been, I would've just called my own tow truck at the accident and not dealt with these awful people. I'm only giving them a star because I have to. They then proceeded to ask me for my keys so it will make the process easier and then took them with him to the towing site. They smashed - I mean SMASHED - the front of my husbands truck while it was in their tow yard (caused over $1,000) and couldn't care any less about it. MYSTERIOUSLY ... they lost the pictures from when it came into their yard then blamed the damage on the collision center. The best part was the night of the accident, the driver said pull over to that bank parking lot (our car was barely driveable) and then DROVE OFF!!!!!! He left us sitting there so we had to call the police dept back to find out where the tow truck went! When you're in an accident and you have to have your car towed, you don't HAVE to let the police department call the tow truck they are contracted with. You can (and SHOULD) call your own. Unfortunately, Yelp requires you to give every company a minimum of one star. The employees that work for Kennesaw Wrecker are all miserable humans and it is evident in their response to customers. They towed my vehicle from my apartment complex and damaged the transmission chain. I was unable to drive my car after this incident and had to take it to a mechanic for repairs. Granted, my BMW did in fact have a transmission leak as confirmed by the mechanic, however that had nothing to do with the chain breaking. My car was completely mobile prior to them towing it. The manager David denied the damage being their fault and refused to reimburse me. He was actually quite rude. Horrible company, so I got my car towed out of my apartment complex, i went to the place that said they had my car and once I got tthereI had to pay all cash. Upon recovering my car I noticed that my dash board looked like a Christmas tree mind you before they towed it nothing was wrong now my car has failed AFS system, the traction control system will not go away. I was told to drive the car around for 2 days to see if there were any problems with it. I drove back to the shop because the problem did not go away. I was originally told that they had a company they worked with to do diagnostics on cars. That was a lie I had to go to another shop to do the diagnostic on my own. I also was told once I get the diagnostic of the then we will start the reimbursement. That never happened either, I received the paperwork stating all the codes that popped up on my car. I delivered the paperwork and the manager was adequate that the paperwork provided didn't show that they were responsible for the damages. So I showed them a video of me driving the car and nothing was wrong with the dash board. I have yet to receive an update about this incident. I keep getting the run around stating that the manager is gone from the office and the from front desk lady, she says she doesn't know when he'll come back in office. They basically waste your time and give you the run around. I haven't received any update from them and possible will be taking them to small claims court, since it seems like they're not trying to pay the damages they caused for towing my car. read more

My car was towed last week and upon retrieving it from wrecker (C Stein) my car sustained a broken brake line and almost failed to stop on the road several times. I attempted to call the office numerous times throughout the week to resolve the issue with a manager and prevent unnecessarily having to harm their business, but I had no such luck getting a contact back. I asked to inspect my vehicle which had been towed and she told me to leave and called the Kennesaw PD on us. They work with Cobb County police and they know that their costumers don't have other choice, so they overcharge. I had an accident and the police towed my car to this impound. They charged me $150 for the tow and the accident happened like 5 minutes from them. 4 night, they charged me $30 a night plus a %75 lien fee! So I was involved in a horrible car accident. I am fine for starters. But I call up early this morning to find about about my car because my insurance was able to find a body shop to come check it out and see if it can even be fixed. So when I called I was told it would be 190 usd. And 40 usd everyday it's left there. I asked when I had to get it so it stayed at 190 usd (12:30pm est tomorrow) by a lady I think named Jessie. So when i call my insurance and tell them what they quoted me they said lets go ahead and get it tow. So i call them back. And i kid you not. Jessie got an extremely nasty attitude. And then when i recalled AGAIN to tell them point blank i was getting my car out today at 2:45 I'm told what I need to do. A friend of mine who was involved in a wreck asked me would I help him get his truck from kennesaw wrecker impound yard ,so I agreed to help I hooked up my car trailer and was in route to this place. I was very impressed with the hospitality and service I received.They went beyond my expectations to help me load truck on trailer.Thanks to their lot manager who was top-notch intelligent professional take the time to help load the truck on my trailer. And he was in a great deal of pain form dental work and he still was willing to help. So from the front door to the back door it was a great experience and a pleasure business with. I live at Stadium Village where I pay for a reserved parking spot. If someone parks in my spot than we are told to call this company to come remove the car that's parked illegally. Every time I've call the person answering the phone tells me he can't get in touch with his drivers. How is that and they're at work? This is the third time this has happened to me.
