As always, a lovely time great place to have a birthday, which is what we did. The food was exceptional. The staff was very nice and who's your daddy played that night which was fun and go for a cocktail stay for dinner or drink drinks but always a good time to be had. Can't wait to go again.

It was a surprise to find out that our New Rochelle favorite, Patsy's Pizzeria, was closed for renovations. And then to see that it will no longer be Patsy's, with new owners taking over, renaming the establishment Kenny's on the Water. Once partially reopened, we made a visit mid-Spring 2025, to find a slight disappointment. The once comfortable large bar had been transformed to half its original size. A temporary situation, as renovations were still in progress. The future promise was to have a full length, indoor bar facing the mariner to optimize water views. Fast forward three months or so later and their promise has been fulfilled. The current renovation is a great usage of space. Now there are two bar areas, where the newest of the two provides an enhanced view of the mariner no matter where you're seated. We are happy with the end result, and the new beginnings that is Kenny's on the Water. And least I forget to mention, the food and service by the original staff remains on point. TIP: Parking lot reconstruction completed Restaurant Hours: Sun-Tue: 11:30AM-09:00PM Wed-Sat: 11:30AM-10:00PM

First off, the parking was confusing. We parked on the street, not knowing where the actual lot was because there was no visible signage. The restaurant is cool, a bit small, but they make it work. Our server was excellent and made the experience much better; her name is Chrystal. We had a larger party, and she was extremely attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and sweet. The food was very good; I had the short rib, and it was fantastic. Very tender and filling. Definitely will be back for the happy hour as well.

The food is great. Service was excellent and the new area converted that used to be outside is awesome.

He was genuinely gracious, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended several dishes that we absolutely loved. The Food Everything we ordered was excellent, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. If you go, I strongly recommend ordering the grilled red snapper. It was easily the highlight of our meal. We started off with some drinks, and their jerk spring rolls and codfish fritters. Everything was really good. Hubby had their lomo saltado. He said it was OK but the rice was dry and it wasn't served as it should be, with the sauté on top of the French fries. I had the ribeye with mac & cheese and cabbage slaw. The steak temp was perfect, as was the mac. The slaw was bland - I wish I ordered a different side. My kiddo had their chicken fingers w/French fries, and liked it. My MIL had their pollo a la brasa, and enjoyed it as well. We surprised hubby with a happy birthday red velvet slice and headed out. Service was great and it was a vibe with the live music. After our meal, we walked around Hudson Park nearby and enjoyed a very chill day. I would definitely come back.

The staff is super kind and…read morefriendly, the food is delicious (a bit pricey for me but it's def worth the splurge) and the owner is always tweaking the menu a bit to keep things fresh, which is really nice! My go-to's are ALWAYS the kale Caesar salad, truffle fries and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is more of a cream sauce so it's not gooey like traditional Mac and cheese, but the flavor makes me come back to it every time I come. The truffle fries are always fried to perfection and pair so well with the Caesar salad (you can tell they make their own dressing). When I wanna switch it up I get the smashburger which is pretty good! I had my birthday dinner here last year so it was my family's first time coming here, so they all got smashburgers and were very pleased by the high quality of the meat and the flavor. I also like that they have mocktails! I don't drink so it's nice to have a mocktail option. I've only tried the Give Me A Minute mocktail which I'm very loyal to. It's a bit tart and sweet (the lavender syrup really brings it together), and I look forward to it each time I visit. Met the owner recently and he was very nice! Forgot to mention this in person but figure I'll put it here--if you add another plate option deal (happy hour?) that includes the Caesar salad, fries and a side of the Mac and cheese, me and my girlfriends would rather give you guys our money instead of venturing out to the city! Definitely consider coming here with some girlfriends after work for a nice drink and good eats. I've even come to dine on my own and enjoyed myself. One of my friends swears they have the best ice cream for dessert. Not sure if they still do trivia nights (never went but I'm hopeful! Seems like a fun time).

More of a creamy preparation, rather than cheesy or gooey. The wild mushroom pizza was tiny. The crust was a little chewy, but nice rich flavor. My husband enjoyed the lobster bucatini, but would've liked more pieces of lobster.

The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.

My immediate thought was to say, "Okay, we'll be on our way then." I didn't like that my date was pressured into ordering something. THEN she hits us with "cash only." Ugh. The cocktails. She was majorly pushing these concoctions she'd made up and said every single cocktail was $15, so we might as well go with the boozier one (as opposed to what we wanted which was something simple like gin & tonic), so we relented. They were OK. Would never order again, though. Other than the desperation and pushiness of the bartender, the ambiance was great! Fun clientele and gothy decor. Large metal chandeliers adorn the ceilings and it has an upscale, rustic vibe with candles on the tables. Their menu is enticing. It's Italian inspired, but has lots of variety beyond the classic dishes. The appetizers were fantastic. The crispy artichokes were airy and melted in your mouth. The brussel sprouts were deliciously crispy with a pleasantly sweet sauce. I enjoyed the pistachios on them. The eggplant fries were a unique offering and very tasty topped with crumbled parmesan cheese. They would've been even better with a dipping sauce. For my main, I had the mushroom ravioli. The sauce was rich and creamy and it was topped with sharp parmesan and arugula. I enjoyed it, but the portion size was quite small, as the dish only included four pieces of ravioli. My husband got the black linguine and enjoyed the accompanying cream sauce with shrimp and lobster. To drink, I had the queen margherita, which was nice and tangy from the passion fruit.
