This place has the best special roll platters. I have come here multiple times in the past for their platter and they never disappoint. We ordered through the phone and the platters are usually ready in 15 minutes. We normally order later in the day. The platter we ordered had a wide variety of rolls. All of the rolls are amazing and super fresh! They do not skimp, nor is there too much rice. The food (sushi) took an hour and a half to arrive on a weekday night even though the estimated time was 45-60 mins! I called the restaurant after 45 mins of placing the order. The woman at the restaurant said the food has been ready and is just waiting for the delivery person to show up but on my app, it shows the food wasn't ready until 15 mins later. Then, it showed that the delivery person picked it up an hour after I placed the order. I called an hour and 15 mins after the order was placed and asked how much longer and the woman said the guy just picked it up. When I arrived, my order was still not ready yet, I waiting for about a good 20 minutes until my order was complete. As I waited I overheard the server telling all other customers who came in to order that they had run out of sashimi but they could make rolls. And even then, if they ordered at the time (~6:30 pm) there's a 1-hour wait until their order could be complete. Moral of the story: order in advance, especially on a weekend/during COVID times, restaurants might not buy as many fish as they used to. The fish was fresh, one that really stuck out was how much wasabi and ginger they gave--a giant fist full. The food was good and the server was highly attentive to the packaging and detail of the order. The only thing that could be improved in the cutting of the fish, some parts of the fish were not cut correctly, causing the salmon to be very chewy. We ordered a "Sashimi Sushi Roll Combo" and a "Fish Crabstick Spring Roll" via the Yelp app, and our food was ready at the designated pick-up time. The fish from both items was serviceable but not the freshest -- slightly fishy in taste with a tinny aftertaste. Portions leaned toward the small side. The complimentary miso soup that came with our order seemed to have more soy sauce than miso.
