The fish was fresh and they give complimentary soup (loved that) I got there a little early and had to move my car since flushing parking is pretty tight. I told her I'd be back and when I was walking towards the restaurant, she was outside with my package. That's what I call service. & as for my roll, I'm glad they put seaweed salad inside. First time trying this place and we got the sashimi and roll platter (XL) which is recommended for groups of 4-5 people. Comes with california roll, eel avocado, salmon avocado (8pcs each), shrimp tempura (12pcs), sashimi and nigiri sushi. The sashimi was very fresh!!! Melts in your mouth :) the service was great, restaurant was clean, and food came out fast. Wish we got to choose the rolls we want for the platters but overall still very tasty! We saw a pack of ice in our takeout bag and thought wow this place is great... until we started eating. The most awful sushi rolls I have ever had. My husband and I ordered the spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna crunchy roll, sandwich sushi, and about $20 of sashima. The rice on the rolls were gooey and tasted like mush. Even the wasabi (which they give you loads of) was off. On top of that the rolls tasted moldy! We couldn't even eat it! How can you sell moldy food to people and still have a conscience? It was a bowl of rice, cut up lettuce, one piece salmon and one piece of either red snapper or fluke cut up in little cubes, one imitation crab stick. I didn't even eat this I just had it pack to go. I would not recommend this for you unless you just want 2 pieces of sashimi and bowl of rice. I am glad I ordered a spicy tuna crunch roll if I only ordered sashimi salad I would've given this place one star and never would've gone back. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now after seeing all these positive reviews and I was not dissapointed. I got the eel combo and it was really delicious. The roll did fall apart a lot easier than expected so it burst apart, but the roll it self was pretty tasty. The cashier/waitress was super friendly, greeting me once I entered and the two male chefs at the back were extremely quick at their sushi making! There are 3, 2 seater tables and 1, 6 seater table. The place is small and quiet, but it's more of a relaxing quiet than just quiet. I only tried their eel combo, but next time, i'll try their sashimi! Waiters were polite, I didn't have any problems with them. The wait time wasn't very long after we ordered. I went again today because I saw a great yelp reviews. both times I was terribly disappointed. Today I got the super salmon roll and the super tuna roll. Couldn't comment on how the role tasted there was so much spicy and hot mayo on it that that's all I tasted. I was literally getting uncomfortable it was so hot and spicy. Great sashimi. The salmon slices melted in your mouth. This place just opened so we went in the afternoon and no one was in the staff were really nice and friendly.
