He answered the phone himself right away when I called (no recording, no having to go through another person or wait for a callback) and I was able to schedule an appointment immediately; he was available to meet me at my rental property at a time convenient for me -- the next day, a Saturday -- and was flexible when I encountered heavy traffic and had to tell him I was running late. Ken came out promptly on short notice, sized up the job (removing a hot water limit stop from a tub valve), and worked quickly, professionally, and courteously to solve the problem. I might add that this was DESPITE the incorrect information which we received from American Standard. The charge was about what we had expected for the work so we felt that Ken was honest. Plus he's a nice guy to deal with, and he wore appropriate clothing (including shoe covers) so that he didn't leave a mess for us to clean up. Ken came to temporarily fix our non functional shower amidst a remodel (with two small kids in the house). We scheduled him multiple days later to install a sink, fix our washer and dryer, and address a filter in our refrigerator. About three years ago Ken came out and replaced my failing water heater. It worked ok for about 2 1/2 years and then failed. I contacted another plumbing service. Their plumber looked at it and told me that it couldn't possibly be only 2 1/2 years; in fact the date on it showed it was 10 years old!
