These guys are awesome. They were fast, efficient and honest. Our water heater needed replacing back in July. I originally called Mr Rooter after our neighbor recommended them. They came out and quoted me $2500 to replace our water heater and haul away the old one. We knew after doing research that it should only be $1300 -1600. Our house is only 1600 sq ft. Anyhow, I ended up contacting Henry's and texted him some pictures of our current water heater, he quoted me $1450. They came out within an hour to start the job. They fixed a running toilet by installing all new guts, and also put in a new water shut off valve at my rental property. Tenant was very happy! Then they went to another property and fixed a Jacuzzi tub that had stopped working, plus tightened the spout (which I tried for an hour to do, but just could not get at the right nut to tighten) Both jobs were done quickly and everything works 100% now. Henry's Plumbing did a great job fixing various plumbing issues caused by a water softener company we inherited from the previous homeowner. Lio came on time and drained the charcoal debris (from the water softener) stuck in the pipes for several faucets and a water hose of the toilet. Lio also fixed our toilets issues (a poor job done by a previous contractor) Lio is patient and skilled. He is easy to work and honest. I am glad I found Henry's Plumbing. I found Hernry's Plumbing from a poor Yelp review of another plumbing business. After getting a phone estimate for clearing a clog in my kitchen sink, Leo and Andre came the next day within the established time window. They put booties on and came into my house to do the job. They used a power "snake" twice in their first attempt to clear the line under the sink. At first, that seemed to work. I paid and and they left. However, soon after, I determined that the clog had reappeared and was unable to drain the sink. I called back Henry's, and 1 hour later Leo and Andre came to my door. They again "snaked" the line more extensively than before, but also tapped off my hot water valve under my sink with a flexible line connector. This enabled them to force high-pressure hot water through the sink drain pipe at the same time they were "snaking" it. This trick fully cleared the pipe, which they verified by visually checking the actual water flow through to the main sewer line by removing its cleanout plug at the back of the house. I was impressed with their knowledge, diligence, and professionalism. read more

Excellent service by Enrique and his dad. He replaced a shutoff valve under the kitchen sink that was corroded. I added a couple of other small jobs on the spot. I needed him to figure out why the master bathroom cold water taps had such weak flow compared to the hot. He found out that my previous contractor had installed hosed that were too short, so they both kinked. He replaced them to fix the issue. Then I asked him to check why the hall drain was loose, and he fixed that in about a minute. Outstanding work, and I'll be using him again for other projects. read more

The drain for our bathroom sink and tub was getting tarnished, crusty and corroded. I called Henry's Plumbing because of their great reviews. I was not disappointed! Leo and Ben showed up when they were supposed to wearing masks, gloves and booties. Already huge for me. Then they proceeded to remove the offending drains and luckily had a new sink one on hand. They didn't have one for the tub but cheerfully left to go find me the right one. They came back quickly and installed that as well. These guys are the real deal. Had a stoppage in my cast iron main sewage line. The team showed up on time as promised, worked tirelessly to snake and hydro clean the line - and we are up and running again. Enrique suggested that I consider replacing the cast iron lines with PVC at some point to avoid problems associated with aging cast iron. Will definitely hire these folks again for any plumbing related needs or replacements. Invoice received via email with Quickbooks and payment was a breeze. I called, left a message and got a call back in 5 minutes (Yeah!). He realized my predicament and scheduled me the next day. I have found my plumber and I will never go back! I have tried many plumbers in Santa Cruz and never have I experienced such professional, kind, hard working, honest and skilled plumbers before. Their quote was plenty fair and the price even dropped as they did the work and discovered ways to make the job cheaper. They installed a new line from the meter to the first shut off, a big job, and they did it seamlessly. When they called me out to take a look the job was super clean, as if there had never been a leak. They even patched the concrete and raked the landscape so that it looked nice and tidy when they left.
