I don't know if I like this nail polish from Helen. She didn't greet me or anything, and it felt like she was just trying to finish the service quickly. The nail care part was especially disappointing. I work at a pharmacy, so my hands are often very dry, especially around the cuticles and the edges of my nails. She seemed to just tear off the cuticles randomly instead of carefully cleaning and shaping them, so it didn't look neat. (SEE PHOTO. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. At first glance, my nails seemed okay, although the shaping wasn't super consistent but once I got outside and drove away I realized the nails on my two middle fingers were already lifting and felt like they were on the verge of popping off. You could see a gap between my natural nail and the acrylic nail as shown in the pictures. Therefore, I went back in to see if they could be fixed less than 2 hours later. At first, the lady suggested just cutting down my natural nail under the acrylic (shows how big of a gap there was to be able to only cut my natural nail and not the acrylic) and I said no, I'd like them re-done since that wouldn't fix the problem of the nail lifting and being able to move around on top of my nail. A different lady re-did the 2 nails but I realized afterwards my thumb nail seemed to be doing the same thing too. I was late to get my kids since I needed to go back in to get them fixed and their grandma said she had the same experience with her nails lifting after getting them done here. I've never had this happen with nails and I've probably been to over 50 nail salons in my lifetime so this seems to be a training or technical issue that should really be addressed. read more

I've given this salon two chances, and both times were disappointing. The first time, I got black gel nails. The color was see-through, and when I asked for a third coat, the tech argued that it wouldn't make a difference. After insisting they apply another coat to a few nails, it clearly did make a difference -- those nails looked so much better. They also didn't apply a clear top coat at the end, which is basic for gel nails, so I didn't leave a tip. I decided to give them another try and got white natural nails. I watched them paint directly over leftover black polish instead of fully removing it. They also filed my nails down so harshly that my nail beds were damaged -- they bled, hurt for weeks, and I still feel pain putting on jewelry. The nail techs seem careless and rushed. They really need to pay more attention to detail and make sure old polish is completely removed before applying a new color. And also be gentler with removal of polish. I won't be returning. read more

Hmmm, they were extremely busy for a weekday. I waited almost 30 mins AFTER my appointment time to be serviced. I am a patient person, so it wasn't a huge deal. But what was a huge deal to me, was the actual services I paid for. I got a pedicure (#3 on the their menu, basic white gel), and the whole time it seemed rushed (seemed to have booked way too many customers and were still taking walk-ins!!) Paint job was OKAY at best. I don't think it was worth $50 + tip. I can see the price being valid had they taken their time with the polish, paraffin, scrub, etc. Staff was friendly... to me. I saw them ignore multiple customers. People were waiting to pay at the counter, and no one acknowledged them or attempted to try and check them out. I am surprised at the experience after reading the reviews. Not sure how it has this high of a rating. I would not recommend. read more

I got my dip nails for the first time a week ago. A couple days ago at work, I found my nail laying on the floor while cleaning up. I work at a hospital in an operating room! The reason I got dip is because I need something that will not just randomly pop off. I have many coworkers who say their dip lasts for weeks. Mine didn't even last for 6 days! I'm kinda pissed because this could seriously be an issue if I had to change my gloves in the middle of an operation! What the hell. Also the dip was super bulbous and thick. I don't even want to go back her to have them fix it because I can't afford to have the same thing happen again for patient safety reasons. Would not recommend. Also, I see a lot of people complaining about the make nail tech. This wasn't done by him. I don't know the woman's name. read more

Update: Wow. I'm suprised I never came back to update this review. It was so old that I don't even have a photo of my horribly done nails. So, as you can see... my initial review, I was so happy I had found someone that could do nice nails. The second time I came back, the lady was busy so I got the guy. Well... he sucks. I asked for like a rose-Lacey look on my nails which he used a paper design to stamp onto my nail. He didn't even get the sides of my nails, so it was only stamped on the flat front part of the nail. It looked incomplete. When I asked him if he could probably get the sides of the nail, he responded with so much attitude. One of my nails was supposed to look bloody too (for Halloween) and it literally looked like half red, half black with smudge in between. Nothing like blood at all. Not even cute. I hated it so much that I went home and painted all my nails black to cover the ugliest set I've ever gotten. Immediately stopped going here. Update: never going back... THE NEXT DAY I woke up with one missing nail and 2 cracked nails. 1. The fact that you were mad that I changed my mind on a color should not be an issue . 2. She did a sloppy job of taking the color off so I had dark green on the sides of my nails and she just slapped the new lime green on top and called it good. I wasted $60 dollars :( 3. I just sat down in the car and decided I didn't like the color so I came back in to tell them it was my bad and I'd like a different color and she looked me in my eyes and said " THIS ISN'T OUR FAULT THIS IS YOUR FAULT"..nobody was blaming her AT ALL...the audacity 4. It should be ILLEGAL to charge for EVERY.SINGLE.PRODUCT YOU PUT ON OUR NAILS. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 years old and I know things change as the years go on but No one should be charged for THE SHAPE OF THEIR NAILS when I'm already paying for the gel, the set, the nail art, the stickers, and the nail files if we forget it. Are we going to start charging for base coats, top coats, the chair were sitting on, using your sink to wash our nails, or even the nail dryer? Honestly only posting a review because I saw so many great reviews and completely did not have that experience. I came in asking for a basic white gel pedicure and asked her to cut my toes to the same length and straighten my broken one. Instead I left with all my toes being different lengths and my big toe having a huge irritation on one side. Poor cleaning of the nails and even worse painting job. The polish was brought too close to the cuticle so it was all bumpy and uneven and I asked her to fix it at the end of my appointment and she acted like she did but made no difference. read more

Let me break this down for you: They don't accept debit OR credit cards. Cash only. Their on-site ATM will cost you $1.25 - your bank will charge you $2.00 for using the on-site ATM. You can only take out TWENTIES, (you'll need all of it and MORE). Are you still following me? Great. A BASIC pedicure is $35.00. The 'kit' which is a file and toe separators (flip flops are extra) is $2.00. FUN FACT: The kit is NOT mandatory per State of OR- but the techs say it is. FUN FACT: They're making a profit off selling the 'kits' that we take home and toss them in a drawer never to use again. Your $35 BASIC pedicure now costs you $40.25 - not including a TIP. I give the tech a $5.00 tip because she only does the bare minimum (not even a decent foot/calf massage) and that's even more than I think she deserves. Especially after the salon itself has already overcharged me in undisclosed fees. So, now your "$35.00" BASIC PEDICURE will cost you $45.25. Just remember, whatever you THINK you'll pay, add at least another $10 or $15 bucks. This business is shady AF since they don't disclose mandatory fees UP FRONT. Buyer beware. read more

This nail salon is taking Covid-19 seriously, which is something I truly appreciate. I signed in, providing all the information needed, and was instructed where to sit. I received a very nice pedicure. He was very thorough and good. Most places I go to do not give good foot massages with their pedicure. That's not the case here. His foot massage was wonderful. Prices seem to fluctuate from visit to visit. I would just say be careful when you say "yes" to something. More than likely there is a charge. My charge for a manicure and pedicure went from97 to 107. Update: today my deluxe pedicure went from 50.00 as posted to 62.00 when I was paying, I asked why she says for the gel polish WTH.
