I often forget to book ahead and they are so accommodating. They were able to get me in quickly despite the place being somewhat busy and I was so grateful! The attention to detail, and quality of service was great! My pedicure was miraculous, and the technician was thorough. For a gel Mani, and gel specialty Pedi I was in the shop for approx 2.5 hours. The technician did not rush, and took the time needed to make sure I got the quality, and service that was necessary; it has been a while since I treated myself so the pedicure took longer than most of the clients who were beside me. I appreciate that my technician took the necessary amount of time needed to properly service my swollen, achy, not so pretty feet; being 7 months pregnant at the time , I hadn't been able to care for myself the way I normally would have. Have been in a couple times now. Regular or hot stone pedi, and shellac nails. I've left happy, with no issues. The polish lasts as long or longer than anywhere else I've tried & their prices are great. The ladies are very friendly and attentive. It's a clean an modern shop with nice big windows so you can people watch the Division foot traffic. Not great for parking unless you get lucky. I just walk over, the half mile is just as time consuming as trying to find parking. I would recommend this place for sure! VIP Nails provides excellent service both in the salon and out-- after stopping in for pedicures (which turned out perfect) with a friend, my friend accidentally left her keys behind the pedicure chair and did not realize it until well past closing. Not only did the salon make multiple attempts to contact us, they dropped off the keys at her apartment late in the evening so she wouldn't have to miss work or pay for a lift to fetch her car later. I have been here a few times, and some of my visits were adequate. However I went this week and got a tech who gave me the worst pedicure of my life. It was painful the entire time. We spoke different languages so I couldn't communicate this verbally, but, I winced and jerked away several times but she continued to dig her nails into my skin and cut way too much skin off. Today about 4 of my toes are throbbing and swollen and swollen and I'm planning to go to urgent care tomorrow. I had a really terrible experience here. I scheduled an appointment for 2 pm. I didn't get seen until 2:47 pm. I asked for very simple one color nails. My cuticles weren't cut. The nails themselves are all messed up. They're uneven. There's some acrylic on and over my cuticle. The base is somewhat thick but the tips are dipped down. Look at photos for reference. I had to ask multiple times to fix a crooked or not correctly filled in nail. They don't clean their tools. The lady doing my nails clipped on of my cuticles at the very end then RIGHT after she clipped her OWN cuticles with the same clippers then put it back in the box. I spent $65 + tip for nails that are not worth that. It's a cute spot with nice employees. But the nails that I got done are really embarrassing. read more

Swung by here one afternoon for a gel manicure and had always wanted to check this location out! The gals here had time for me as a walk in and got straight to it! I wish I could remember the name of the woman who worked on my nails. She was super quiet but super efficient- pretty sure she had me looking at my completed gorgeous sparkly nails within 35 MINUTES! She was very polite and fast! Plus, the quality of e pedicure was top notch. This place is adorable too! Very clean, welcoming and relaxing. I was super impressed by how staff cleaned high traffic areas and adhered to wearing their masks. My ONLY feedback would be that it was super quiet here. There were maybe half a dozen customers and we were mainly all in awkward silence. I'd love some music, trashy television, something in the background. There was a TV that had a YouTube channel of the same five waterfalls switching ever 45 seconds, but no real music. I'm down to visit again, but I might bring some headphones! read more

I went in for a walk-in pedicure and while they didn't have capacity then they got me scheduled for a short time after. Ugh, what was I doing all this time living down the street from this awesome nail salon! Holly did my nails (might be Polly, Sorry if it is!) and she is truly a pro. I did dip nails, which I had been previously doing myself. Holly told me I've been damaging my nail beds by filing too hard and put some extensions on (for free mind you) a few nails to help them get stronger. It looks like they use SNS dip powder which is very good and high quality. But then used gelish shellac top coat which is honestly genius. Hands-down the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. I went here because of the excellent reviews (which I'm now convinced they're paying to have negative reviews taken down). I was looking for a new salon to get SNS dipping powder manicures because my regular place was getting a bit sloppy, and I couldn't justify the price any longer for shoddy work. First off, the nail tech at VIP Nails proceeded to use nail clippers on my nails, which had SNS on them. I'd never seen anyone do this when removing SNS and had actually been warned never to clip my nails, only to file them down. Well, after the nail tech clipped my nails (which was pretty painful and uncomfortable), my natural nail underneath the SNS was shattered and jagged. I thought, no biggie, I plan to get them cut much shorter anyway. Then the nail tech proceeds to use a clean (I hope) acrylic nail to dig up under my SNS and pry it off my fingernails. This was incredibly uncomfortable and all I could think about was how unprofessional this was and how terrified I was of being cut by the sharp plastic edges (think paper cut, but 10x worse). All of this took an incredibly long time, much longer than average (so if you do choose to make an appointment here, keep that in mind). I had already decided she didn't seem to know what she was doing and I didn't trust her to do a good manicure after the botched attempt to get the dipping powder off. I politely told her that I had not allowed myself enough time, I needed to be somewhere and to please just take off the rest of the SNS and shape and file (what was left of) my natural nails instead. She insisted she could finish the manicure in time (a whole SNS manicure in 20 minutes? Yeah, right...) but I insisted. She then half-heartedly began to file my nails without paying much attention to what she was doing, scraping my cuticle repeatedly and my nails still had sharp corners on them when she finished. I just wanted to get out of there and planned to file them myself at home. I went to go check out and the "service" I received came out to $20. I paid the $20 but did not leave a tip, and she had the audacity to point that out to me: "You don't want to leave a tip?" and I politely responded, "No, I don't think so." I walked out, went home, and had to cut down my nails so much because the tops were shattered by the nail tech, and then had to file and shape them all myself. I never leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel misled by the glowing reviews on Google. As a side note: This salon has signs posted asking to be paid completely in cash only. This bothers me a bit not only because I was not told before my manicure began so I could prepare accordingly, but because I feel like they're attempting to avoid paying the appropriate taxes. When I noticed the sign, I asked if they had an ATM in the building. They don't, of course. So I explained I only had a card, and they were nice enough about it. Another side note: When another customer came in, I kid you not, a boy of about 12 or 13 (he may have been 15 at the absolute max) began her manicure. I don't know why someone so young was working at 11:00 a.m. on a school day, but I suppose that's none of my business. This whole establishment was just unprofessional and sketchy in general, and I could never recommend them in any way. read more

I have been to V.I.P nails times now and have had great experiences each time. The services I have gotten have been pedicures, eyebrow wax and full gel set (picture shown). When you get a mani or pedi you are offered a complimentary beverage ranging from tea, coffee to wine or champagne. They have 3 different options for pedicures and I think the most expensive is 45.00 which I have not gotten yet but they do take their time and doesn't feel rushed. I typically go to European Wax for my brows but it was just convenient to do it here one day. My brows looked great but the specific wax did keep my eyebrows super red for multiple hours but I do have fairly sensitive skin. I came in last Saturday for a full acrylic gel set which set me back 45 bucks but I needed something fun and new! It took a little over an hour since they were pretty busy and the lady working on my nails was in charge of the phones. She was super sweet and I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind at all. I would recommend making an appointment especially on the weekends because they can be pretty busy. The space is very clean and comfortable with friendly staff! I highly recommend. :) read more

Anna Soand is amazing! If you need a beautiful full set or fill for acrylics I would highly recommend booking with her. She is only available on Sundays. This place is new, clean and opened a few months ago. Beverages with every service. They also value their customers appointments and will not over book knowing they have scheduled appts, which is hard to come by. Great color selection for manicures and pedicures. Anna did both my fill and pedicure and I recommend her for both. I did the deluxe pedicure and it was well worth the money- it included a very long massage and hot stone massage, along with the scrub and paraffin wax, leg mask and hot towel.
