I ordered a turbo and clutch from Paul at Kermatdi. I spoke to Paul on Wednesday and explained I needed the parts by Friday. I live in upstate new York. This was very important to me as I needed my car back together by Monday for work. True to his word Paul had my parts here Friday. Paul made sure that all the parts for the install were there. NO missing parts or wrong parts. No running around to the local store to locate parts looking for a special part that they don't carry. I was able to work from start to finish on my project without interruptions. I am very happy with Kerma install kits they do an excellent job of providing all the hardware and gaskets you will need. I have driven the car for a week with the new clutch and turbo. I am impressed with the Southbend stage II clutch. The clutch dose not slip or made any vibrations or noise at idle or highway. The clutch shift smother than the factory. I replaced my 1856 turbo with the vnt 17. I am currently running the tune form that Charlie at Kerma wrote for the 1856 turbo. The turbo pulls strong from 1800 rpm to around 3500. I believe this is a good choice for my car as I am running the factory intake and cam. I don't know if the car would perform differently with a turn written vnt 17. I like the option that Kerma provides with the q loader is free upgrade tunes with the purchase of the goods. I will continue doing business with Kermatdi. The 2001 vw jetta tdi with 250,000 miles, leaking intercooler and worn out valves pulled 77hp and 146lb of torque. I am looking forward to have the car dyno again with the modifications and I will share the results with Paul. read more

Where do I start? I have a 2001 VW Golf TDI and a 1968 Chevelle SS396. Of course, the Chevy is the muscle car and the Golf is the daily cruiser. That was all true until I spoke with Chris at Kerma. I was looking into getting a new set of injectors because my car has 286000 trouble free miles, and the injectors were original. It was time to do some maintenance. Chris told me about the 150HP kit and also let me know that DMF flywheels and the clutch don't typically make it this far. I decided to get the 150HP kit with the S7 turbo. WOW. The TDI is now an official muscle car, with modern driving comforts. That's just the start. The guys at Kerma are the absolute best people to deal with. Service is spot on EXCELLENT. I had an issue with the first Q-loaded not reading my ECU. I sent a note to Charlie, answered some questions, sent him a screenshot of what I was getting, and within a week had a new Q-loader. I was able to get my stock file downloaded and sent off to him one evening. The next morning, first thing, I had a new tune to load in the car. It works amazingly well. Power is unbelievable for a 1900cc diesel, and mileage has increased. The best of all worlds. I will definitely use Kerma for all of my future TDI maintenance and performance upgrades. I've been working on a build on my 2001 Jetta TDI for over a year now and ordered most of my parts from Kerma but my brother talked me in to having my tuning done by Malone. I didn't have enough $ to get a clutch at the same time as the rest of the parts and needed a clutch saver tune. I live at a pretty high altitude in SLC and the surge my turbo was producing with the Malone tune needed 6 iterations to calm it down and by then the power was anemic. Not to mention the several day turn around on getting a tune. I finally caved after my brother switched and I saw his cars performance increase with Kerma's tuning. Instead of a few days, I got my tune in a few hours. The Kerma tune woke my car up! Its so much smoother and faster now I can't believe it still has the stock clutch and more potential left. Boost is solid at 24/25 psi like I requested but the best part is that I don't feel like I'm limping my car around anymore. I can actually get the EGT's to hit 1400 and maybe clean out my vanes a bit on the turbo from all the babying I've had to do since the first stage of my build. Surge is minimal as well. It starts great and the drive-ability is so smooth. I can't wait to get more parts next month. Paul and the rest of the guys have gone above and beyond to help me plan and execute my build. KermaTDI well... I spent a lot of time over email exchanging my thoughts and ideas before I made a purchase. I found kale S. one of the sale staff, very patient and knowledgable when dealing with my newb questions and hassitence. I must have sent 15 oor more emails asking him things possibly twice. I'm not a very wealthy person and have to spend my money wisely, otherwise I won't fit into the middle class society here in Vancouver :(. I feel I made an informed choice and am happy I started a childhood dream of costomising and increasing the performance of my very lovely diesel. Not only for my daily happiness. But because diesel gets my hard! They even refunded some money lost unfairly in a currency exchange during a return. A lot of business's wouldnt, or would ONLY provide in store credit. They didn't even mention in store credit. The return happened because the parts I originally ordered were not the best and would not be right for my car after they consulted with there tech's. Pretty cool for the attention to detail on there part making sure people got something they wanted; and something thats works. I have only positive things to say about KermaTdi regarding my experiance as a customer over the years that i've dealt with them (Paul). I once had issues with a order that i placed and Paul took care of me and met my expectations considering the situation. Price wise, he's competative and from my experiance gives me better deals then the other Tdi vendors out there. Unlike one of the posters on here, i have all kermatdi performance products in my mk4 golf tdi (minus the injectors) and the difference is night and day (vnt17, 3bar map, kermatune, large single side mount IC, southbend stage 3 clutch etc..). Im curious to see what a new tune with new injectors would do :) To show you what type of person Paul is (from my experiance), on my previous order, Paul looked my profile up and found old (2 yrs old) store credit that i had forgotten about. Instead of not telling me, he let me know about it, which ended up saving me some money on my order and showed me what type of person he is. Call me old school, but honesty is big in my book. I've been driving the Jetta for two days now with the new tune uploaded from the Kerma Q loader. This car is now Freaking AMAZING!!! It's better than when I bought it 12 years ago. THERE'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEN THERE'S KERMA CUSTOMER SERVICE Noticing a bad seal causing a leak in the fuel pump on my '03-TDI, I called Paul, other employee picked up and after I placed the order, he realized that the shipping dept had closed for the day. Knowing I was stuck because it was late Thursday afternoon and feeling my frustration with the news that I wouldn't get my seal kit till next week, the employer, volunteered to take it to the post office himself, so I could get it the following day and not the following week. If he hadn't offered to help me get it sooner and not later, it would have meant 4 or 5 days down time..... ..WHO DOES THIS...in this day of age..not many that I know of. I want to thank Paul and all those at Kerma for stepping up and going the extra yardage for their customers....it's a pleasure knowing and doing business them. read more

I finally purchased from Kerma through Chris the 150hp kit and cam kit for my 2006 VW TDI Jetta which had 102k miles with a leaking turbo and bad cam. I was told I would get an additional 50hp and could get up to 10 more miles per gallon. After five days in the shop I was surprised at how smooth it ran and all the extra power. Then came the real test. Topping off my tank I drove 249.8 miles from speeds of 35-45 and 65-70 and after three days I topped off again. It only took 5.032 gallons to top it off, divided by 249.8 and I got an amazing 49.96 with the A/C on. And I was a little hard on the pedal. I'm expecting 51-52 on my next trip. Best of the best in my experience. Excellent products and excellent service,...Got some PP520 injector nozzles for my 03 VW Beetle TDI and its transformed the car. Basically, the nozzle swap is all up side, more hp, more torque, but within safe bounds for my otherwise stock car (i.e., stock clutch is not troubled). The tools loaned as part of the injector *hot swap* are very helpful (the hammer injector puller, to be specific). I needed extra help, time and attention to get my injector swap process fully completed and Kerma TDI were just excellent to deal with and treated me extremely well. I would very happily do it all again and would recommend them with no hesitation. read more

Fixed my VW Passat immobilizer problem through KermaTDI.com. The solution was to send my ECU out to have the immobilizer delete programmed. The problem was completely fixed and faster than I could have imagined. The best part is that now I am able to add or replace my keys without frustrating, expensive interactions with a dealer. I don't have to bother with programming for new keys, they just need to be cut correctly to work. Paul answered all my questions personally over the phone before I sent it out. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely recommend them and plan to be a repeat customer in the future. read more

I just got my tune last week on my 2005.5 MK5 Jetta TDI. I only got the tune, this thing woke up my car! It's like a freight train! Super easy to do the tune. My car gets better MPG than before. recently did a hot swap with Bosio 520 and stage 1 Qload upgrade. Kale warned me of the shortcomings of the factory clutch.
