It's gorgeous and the staff is really on point. The only reason it's lower in stars is that the food is excessively over-flavored. I have ordered MANY dishes offered here and keep coming across spinach that is so over-flavored it ruins the rest of the dish. Salmon, Risotto...it is paired with a lot of dishes and although nicely sauteed, just pungent. It seems to me dishes are crafted with mismatched spices creating a beautiful and highly menu descriptive order but an overpoweringly seasoned meal. The Deviled Eggs are a delight, so is the whipped feta. Kickass cocktails with unique flavors too. My recommendation is really to go for something you may normally find bland and enjoy. read more

We started out with a nice table outside, however, there were lots of bees hovering around (bumble bees and yellow jacks). We decided to venture into an inside table. We had water and asked for lemon 3 times. Let's say the servers are busy and probably short and working hard to keep up. When we asked for lemon the 3rd time, the server said "I'll get it but I have another table to serve."That's nice, but not something to tell a customer that has been waiting patiently. On my last day of Vacation and after 2 tries of getting in for a meal here it finally happened. I would recommend making reservations the day for when you want to go. We ended up doing that because we weren't able to get in till at least 9pm the other days we tried. We had made reservations for Sunday, 11:30am. The place wasn't too busy at this time. We had the option to sit inside or outside. We choose outside, it was warm, but early enough in the day that it wasn't hot. We ordered off the Brunch Menu. Brunch on Sunday is from 11-2pm. We started with the Homemade Sticky Bunn. G and I ate it all, it was delicious! It tasted like a Cinnamon Bun from a place called Toby's in Hinckley, Minnesota. Definitely an amazing starter. For our main dishes. I got the Crab Omelet, Nick can't have Onions, so she got the Steak and Eggs with Scrambled Eggs. G got the Biscuits and Gravy. The Steak was a little bland, and we had asked for A1 sauce, but the 1st waitress stated they didn't have any dipping sauce, because they hope their meat is made well enough for no dipping sauce needed. We asked our main waitress and she brought out some Worcestershire sauce. Nick really liked the biscuits and kept taking bits of G's food because of that. My omelet was good, and had huge chunks of fresh crab in it, however it was cool in the middle, so it didn't seem done in the middle. I still ate it, because I'm not going to waste my food. This restaurant is a bit expensive. Our total bill was $87 with tip, and I tip at least 20%. I wouldn't necessarily eat here all the time, but definitely for special occasions because it is a really nice place and is right next to the water and you can see all the boats and yachts. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. She clearly enjoys her job and takes it seriously. I ordered a Diet Water No Lemon as a joke. It's just Water, and there are different ways it could happen. G thought the waitress would bring it back in 2 glasses, one with just water, the other with just ice. I thought she was going to ask what I was talking about, but she didn't. She took it like a champ, and brought back a Diet soda, and a Water no Lemon for me. It was amaze-balls either way, and she is a fabulous waitress for complying and letting me live my life. Arrived at approximately 12:50pm and was seated quickly. The setting was really nice. We were outdoors with a view of the water and incoming boats/yachts. There's a covering over head so that you aren't directly in the sun. Our server Joey was very pleasant, fast and professional. It didn't seem like there was a diverse clientele. We were the only African American patrons there at the time. We ordered the fried cod fish and chips and I had a unsweetened ice tea. The fish I thought was excellent not overly seasoned but the herb cut fries just tasted like your average French fries and were a little greasy. The tartar sauce was good.
