And boy, oh boy, was she right! Kissin' Cuzzins isn't just for family members bring your friends! Our server was super nice and we chatted like long time friends and he brought our drinks and food asap! When I ordered I actually said, it all looks so good I want one of everything on the menu! I didn't order all the items on the menu but I ordered so much we have leftovers for lunch! I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the okra! Those are two things that have to be cooked to perfection and yes, they were! The cook at this restaurant knows what he's doing in the kitchen, that's for sure! On the top of the yummy list are the sausage gravy and biscuits, grits, BLT with bacon cooked the way it should be... not too soft, not too crispy. Goldilocks would definitely steal it off the plates of the three bears! Whatever you order just know you're at the right restaurant for a delicious meal and you'll be satisfied when you walk out the door!

Inside, it looks like a classic diner, and the staff were friendly, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. That said, the food itself was a bit "meh." The biscuits were definitely the highlight, but nothing else really stood out. The grits in particular were a bit overcooked and had a very gummy texture. With so many other breakfast options in the area, we might skip this one on a future visit.

Well-versed on the menu and a very pleasant lady. It's certainly not a fancy place and it looks like it's been around for a while, but it's the kind of place where you might like to hang out at the bar. Everyone there seems to be friendly and you get that comfortable feeling. We had a variety of food items, some better than others but nothing below average. Really good salads, as you can see by the pictures, a nice job on the chicken wings, a BLT that was pretty tasty; the butternut squash soup was OK, pretty thick and not hot at all. One was returned to the kitchen to be heated up. There was a chicken dip that really didn't hit the spot, and the tortilla chips that came with it seem to be past their prime. As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars. Like I said it looks like a nice place to hang around and have a couple of beverages and a little something to eat.

Best BBQ we've found in St. Pete! Inhaled too quickly to take photos, will do so next time…read more While we've gotten takeout both times, the second time we went there early to pick up since it has such a nice vibe. There is plenty of space for outdoor eating, drinking, and playing shuffleboard, but due to the late July heat, we grabbed a drink indoors at their bar. 13 beer taps, which we weren't expecting and was awesome! The very friendly bartender offered small free samples when we couldn't decide. The kitchen was so fast, the 20 minute ETA was really closer to 5-10. It traveled well, and once home my husband and I both immensely enjoyed our meals: I got pulled pork (not super greasy, which is SO hard to find outside of Nroth Carolina!) and pulled chicken and my husband got ribs and brisket. We both got sides of coleslaw, beans, potato salad, and corn bread. Every single thing was excellent!! I loved that they put the BBQ sauce on the side (as requested) so it didn't get soggy, and then we could rotate between sweet, tangy, and spicy sauces. The beans were rich and savory enough to act as a fourth sauce! The cornbread was cooked perfectly, and the ratio of mayo-to-veggie in the coleslaw and potato salads were perfect. We will absolutely be back!

Keep in mind that there is a 20% gratuity added to every check, regardless of party size! FOOD: Curry Mussels 10/10 -- My number one recommendation! The curry sauce isn't too heavy but still very flavorful, not to mention the bread portion is beyond generous. Tokyo Shrimp 9/10 -- Such plump shrimps! The batter isn't overdone and the sauce is amazinggg. It also came with a stuffed broccoli decorated in the middle of the plate on top of some fried rice. Butter Chicken 10/10 -- I cannot stop thinking about the naan. This entree was beyond my expectations. I have no notes, you must try it! Peruvian Chicken 7/10 -- The chicken could be more flavorful, was a tad lacking.

Firstly when the waiter brought out my plate, I noticed an item from my meal was missing. I asked him where my collard greens were and he says "you're right. Let me go get them." Once he brings the greens back and I taste them and they had zero flavor. Tasted straight out of a can. Secondly, when I cut into my chicken breast, the entire chicken breast slid out of the breading. Nice atmosphere so if I return it will only be for drinks.
