One of the two steps was defective: shorter in height than the other, anti-slip grooves that were placed to match original steps were not parallel and evenly spaced. This is a common traditional design/functional feature of the tread. The bottom step lacks a full riser height and will result in a gap between that step and the patio. We knew the step was odd looking but when our landscape designer saw it, he advised us it was poorly done and needed to be redone before the landscape work could be completed. We contacted Dave explaining the problem, asking him to redo the step or refund the cost of that portion of the project. He said he would be by to demolish and redo the step. On the day of the scheduled redo, he was a no show with no message from him. My husband text messaged and called him with no response, he attempted to reach Dave several times. This man does not keep his word. This no-show ghosting is nothing new, as another reviewer indicated he had the same experience, missed appointments TNT Concrete makes with its customers. There is a history on their part as being no shows on days they have committed to work. We now are paying another contractor to have the step replaced, an extra expense we should not have if Dave had taken responsibility and replaced the step or refunded the cost. This is no way to treat customers. I do not recommend this business.

Ismael was very friendly and offered all kinds of help and reassurances, that his team would help me get the outside ready to sell. We established a contract to lay paver walkways, fix existing stairs, regrade the driveway, straighten my back fence, fix the sump pump, fix the side street drainage, and build a small bench/step in the backyard. I had some fencing that jogged between the garage & the side stairs to hide my awful AC unit. Ismael suggested removing that area because it would open up the flow of the side yard. And he was absolutely correct. At some point after more talking, I agreed to replace some retaining walls with new wall block and add more capstone. This was a $6k increase. I won't disclose the first price because it doesn't apply. However the fact that there was an initial contract that would get me, to a ready to sell place, is. Obviously an increased contract would do that & more. Rather than state what they did or didn't do, I'm just going to post some photos and videos of what they left me with. As of a week ago, I was told that they were done with the project and that I had shorted them $500. There is $500 left to pay, however my landscape is far from sale ready. My hope is that they will agree to finish, but if not, I guess I learned that withholding $500 is not enough to get this company to honor their words.

One of my irrigation system lines broke requiring pulling up a small area of pavers to access and repair the broken pipe - meaning the job is pretty small in the scheme of things. I was referred to Green Knight by the folks at Mutual Materials. Scott (the owner) responded came out and assessed situation and quickly said he would fix my pavers on the weekend on his own time. In addition, his bid was exceedingly fair and reasonable. He came out and over the course of a Saturday and Sunday the a super job repairing our paver path. We have used many different landscape firms over the years and I would highly recommend Scott and Green Knight as one of the best.

He promised 2 days of installation and 7 days of logistics. It took over two months for him to finish the kitchen, and a total of 7 visits to our property requiring us to take many days off work or to have to ask family or friends to be present every single time. Here is the list of major issues with our installation: 1.He never verified the dimensions we gave him for our kitchen. We measured the entire room, including ceiling height, where the window was, full blown layout. He confirmed that all dimensions were good and nothing needed to be changed. That resulted in size cabinets, and tight space for stove and microwave. Not even an 1/8" so our cabinet doors drag on microwave panel and is chipping the door away. 2. He did not open the shipment before he started the installation. He received only 40% of the material necessary to finish the kitchen so for months, literally months we did not have a Kitchen as he did not do his due diligence like any contactor should do to make sure the material he received was correct and whole. Cooking out of a microwave and cleaning in a bath sink for months, sigh. Just not what I had in mind after a long day at work and a sizable investment. 3. The quality of material is very poor. There is chips and cracks all over the place. Many of the joints are already separating either from bad installation or bad material. 4. He did not communicate with his countertop contractor and did not provide the appropriate dimensions so the stone needed to be modified in our house. Many notches and too much caulking to hide all the imperfections. 5. There was an excuse about everything but no ownership. At the end of the installation, he offered us $250 for delays and lack of performance. That's only 1.6% of how much we paid him, not to mention the days we had to take off of work to be present while he made so many trips to complete it. I strongly recommend you avoid trying to save money. Your sanity is worth more, trust me I made a huge mistake by trusting in his capability as a contractor. Just buy from Costco, at least you can keep them accountable. If I could go back and do it again, I would have gladly paid the $22k to Costco. At least you know they'll do it right.

Too many people "just want grass to grow" and they try to spray seeds on top of dead grass. Not gonna happen. Similar with watering... you need to water multiple times a day if you want to grow grass. The crazy thing is, SOD requires the same prep. If your soil is not prepped, then you need to prep the soil. If you're not watering, it won't grow. Long story short I learned all this after my conversations with grassmaster ladies. I did what they told me, yard looks good.

This put them near the bottom of numerous companies I've worked with. If you want some fairly irresponsible help with landscaping and don't mind paying about twice what other similar companies charge, give them a shot. I would strongly suggest you keep looking for better bids.
