On our first trip there, the food and service was fine. It was loudmouth customers seated to one side of us, and the two others that stood over us on the other side, talking loudly to their seated buddies, who were trying to get rid of them the whole time that made us, feel uncomfortable. Trying to sit and eat with two extremely rude and animated conversations going on inches away from is not much fun, but for the price you can't beat the food. We have eaten here about 3 times and I guess third time is the charm because both me and my mother got food poisoning from the fried shrimp. I always thought it was odd how they have so much food for so little price. I believe now they use food that is very close to expiring which is why they douse their veggies and meats in far to much sauce. If you HAVE to eat here just stay away from the shrimp. Ordered 2 large platters. I was completely unimpressed with the food. If you are someone that just wants quantity, you get plenty of food but it was packed in the styrofoam container and had become soggy. They use a really heavy, salty batter so you can hardly taste the seafood. The tartar sauce is loose in the box so it got on some of the shrimp. The bread was smashed and soggy and the French fries were flavorless crinkle fries. Definitely not my kind of place. I guess quality just isn't a thing anymore. read more

I placed an order for 51 meals at 9:00pm, (I gave them advance notice earlier in the week that I would) my wife picked them up at 9:30. The food was all hot, packaged well, and very good. Even the pickiest in our group loved it. There was no skimping on portion sizes, and the popcorn shrimp dinners would have been considered large shrimp in other restaurants. Feeding 46 hungry teens and several adults great seafood for only $352 is awesome! I will definitely be visiting this place again. read more

Driving through from Texas to Alabama had to get gas and it being around 8:30 figured we needed to stop and get something to eat. We were a little skeptical with appearance of the building and with the prices being so cheap but decided to stop anyway. It was delicious all freshly cooked and prepared huge portions. I would always order from Kevin seafood an loved their food but lately the food changed the taste is off , I ordered fried garfish two weeks ago an it's like if it was frozen thawed out an fried over an over in other words fish wasn't fresh so I just threw my plates away one was with shrimp fried rice and the other was with French fries.. so fried the same thing happened I wasn't taking anymore lost so I called them an the lady told me to come bring it bk but when I did go there the lady at the window had the ugliest attitude she jumped bk an pulled her arm bk not to grab my bag I told her there was a lady over the phone earlier who directed me to bring it in ,, after that all the workers popped up In window looking mean I'm like wtf this isn't my fault!!!!!! After that the lady walked away from window an came back with $24.26 for the two nasty plates .. so as I'm putting up my money the worker returned to the window an yelled out at me how much money do u want $100? $200?? Got the popcorn shrimp and was amazed at the portion size and had a very good flavor. Was very impressed with quality & quantity. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Service was excellent, inside was clean ( as always ). Glad they are back open. Needed a Kevin's fix. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I ordered by phone ahead of time and went to pick it up (being that the order was for one of my parents and they have enjoyed the food from here before). After waiting for my food for an HOUR, I go to find out where my order is. They informed me that they gave my food to someone else accidentally but offered to fix me another order. No problem. While I'm waiting for my food (which took another 30 minutes) I'm talking to the person in charge about a full refund or to even pay half price (which I proposed) because I have waited for over an HOUR AND A HALF at this point. The person in charge says, "THE BEST I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU 2 FREE EGG ROLLS". REALLY?? THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!!!? The customer service I received was down right insulting!!! Customers should not be treated this way under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I am NEVER patronizing this business and I suggest that others do the same. read more
