Please read.... I do not want to bad mouth but I highly doubt you'd want the same level of unresponsiveness I've experienced and even more so I hate to write this review for a minority owned business. I have been trying to give this guy benefit of the doubt for 6-7 months if not more. I cannot believe that my ice maker is still not being made from how he makes it sound. I've asked for the part number to buy on eBay, or Amazon and nothing. I called the part company and they said they have one but he said that isn't it. I honestly really tried to make sure the sunk cost wasn't going to be lost but he has been unresponsive via text and cell; and this does not appear to be any end in sight. I am going to call any other appliance repair and urge you to do the same. I support many other makers, repair, etc for black owned businesses and am really disappointed we couldn't work something out. read more

Got a 45 day warranty on dryer heat element. Paid $200 Stopped working after 60 days. New company said I got a used one!?!? And washing machine hose was pulled out causing a ceiling flood. $2400 in damages. WTF!!! read more

I like supporting small local businesses. Gary came over to repair my Samsung fridge. I had an issue of the heater unit freezing up. He gave me and estimate threw yelp. He came over to fix the issue. He thawed out the unit. Put everything back. Fridge worked fine for about a week. Been trying to contact him to fix the same issue. But he been brushed me off and said he'll contact me back in a couple of days to let me know when he can come fix it due to his vehicle issues. He claims his car was stolen. Buts it's been over 3 weeks since he texted me. So I'm guessing he's just not coming back to fix the issue. Please do not use this guy. He's a fraud and only puts bandages on the problem. read more

Gary came out and assess the situation with my stove. Somehow one of the hinges was wrecked and I could not close the door. Gary took every effort to try to repair the hand so I didn't have to buy the new one but unfortunately that was not the case. When the new hinge showed up Gary promptly arrived and fixed the stove. Gary was respectful and courteous and obviously knew a lot about what he was doing. But I can also tell he really enjoyed his work and the value he brought to his clients. I would highly recommend Garry to anybody that needs appliance repair. read more

When giving a quote he was professional but when I wanted to hire him. He wouldn't return text messages or phone calls. Let message at 4:18pm same day he gave me a quote. His fiancé calls at 10:48pm she said hello twice and hung up on me. Which to me was unprofessional. So I decided to buy a new dryer. And if I need repairs ever I will not hire him. read more

Paid for a fridge to be fixed and was told it would work within 24 hours. It was not fixed and after multiple attempts to get him to come back and actually fix it, with no response, I requested my money back on Venmo and was never refunded. Don't use him! He'll take your money and not do the job. read more

Gary is lying about his BBB Rating, their website says he has an F and is NOT accredited. Gary's washing machine repair resulted in two inches of water in the laundry room, bathroom, closet, and kitchen. He then claimed he'd return the next day to fix it. Said he'd be there at 3pm...pushed back to 4pm...didn't show...pushed back to 5 and then 6, then just didn't respond anymore. I highly recommend calling another appliance repair service. I'm going to call DP Appliance Repair to have them fix the shoddy work Gary did. Very disappointed! read more

Don't do it. It's been over 3months and no response whatsoever. Gary fixed my washer machine. I called him again to fix a different washer machine and was told that he needed to order some pieces, I did pay upfront, and still nothing. Don't recommend it to anyone! Find someone else. read more

Gary Dailey came in August and charged me $85 to assess refrigerator issues. He left and did not say a word to my daughter as to what the issues were. I had to reach out to him and ask. He said I would need parts and he would order them. I paid the $85 trip charge, told him to order the needed parts and would pay the rest when parts came in. I was told the parts would be in in a few days. I never heard from him. I waited over a week and contacted Gary Dailey. He said he was waiting for one more part. He never responded saying whether he still needed to continue to wait or give me any sort of status update. have reached out to him numerous times and no response. It is now late September and my fridge is not fixed, nor do I get any response to the emails I have sent asking for a status on parts. Done. read more

Gary replaces my refrigerator water line the same day I contacted him. One week later my refrigerator leaked causing damages to my hardwood floors. Gary came back out and ordered a part to fix the issue. Gary was scheduled to come fix my issue on 5/16/20 at 1:30, but he never showed up. Gary's negligence and poor workmanship has caused damages to my hardwood floors Upon calling the TN Dept of Commerce, his business is not registered in their system. I was advised by the Dept. of Commerce that this is an issue. I am seeking legal advice to be compensated for my damages. read more

There was nothing really done he taken the back off felt around with his hand and said that the compressor has went out, my neighbor wasn't home at the time but he came over later and said that the refrigerator needs freeion that the compressor is good. the compressor is not gone. Gary saved me from buying a new fridge from Home Depot. I would certainly use him again. He was prompt, inexpensive and effective.

He came out pretty promptly for the repair. Said he would give a 45 day warranty. About 2 or 3 weeks later the fridge started doing the same thing again. He couldn't get to me for a few days. We bought a used washer and dryer from Gary two months ago. We couldn't use the washer right away because of a plumbing issue in the house, and when we turned it on several days later, it leaked. Gary came out the same day and swapped it out for another washer, which works perfectly. I just gave his number to my next-door neighbor, and would recommend him to anyone who needs reasonably-priced appliances delivered to their home by someone who stands behind his product and service. read more

Please... find yourself another appliance repair company. As indicated in an earlier review (Michelle P. from 1/20/16) Gary comes out fairly quickly initially. In my case, he came out and identified the problem as a fan for the ice maker. The part was ordered but when he received it they had sent the wrong part. The correct part was reordered and a new date set once it came in. Gary installed the fan and the ice maker worked briefly but then the same problem happened again. I tried contacting Gary Daly on several occasions but had very limited success in connecting with him. It would sometimes take several days for a return call from him if indeed he returned the call. After a few weeks of this, Mr. Daly suggested a partial refund and we agreed upon an amount. He indicated that he had taken a second job and would send a refund check when he received his first check. I never received the check and went i called was given a different story and was told this time he would mail it. As of now, I'm out what i've paid this company and still have an ice maker that doesn't work. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more
