A key benefit for this Key Food is simply location. (#1) Located just outside of the 46th Street stop, it has plenty of shine along Queens Blvd and is situated right next to the infamous Sunnyside arch. And to top it all off, they have a dedicated flower shop side, they operate 24/7 and happen to be right next to a bank. Not bad for a chain grocery store. That's about all I have for the positives, it's sort of a downward slope from there. For starters, the customer service has always been lackluster. Their staff isn't very helpful with helping folks find things, and are usually a little too curt at the register. I almost get the impression that most of the staff would rather be anywhere but the store. Then there are the prices. It's not that they are extremely expensive but most of what they offer can be found cheaper at most stores in the area. Unless you found a rare unicorn of a deal, It's safe to assume most things are going to be pricier. (#2) _______________ (#1) The number rule in real estate. (#2) The future of Sunnyside.

This is the worst supermarket, selling outdated products , specially baby food , Dairy , etc etc . My concern is about baby food , I do t understand how they pass the audits !!

The newly renovated Key Food is one of the largest supermarkets in Sunnyside. In comparison to a neighboring supermarket in Met Food, Key Food is also an open-24-hours one-stop shop that has a lot more to offer in terms of baked goods, fresh produce, organic foods, and just about everything else. Let's not forget to mention that Key Food is well-organized and is very clean. It is also surprisingly well-staffed with most (if not all) check-out aisles having a cashier on hand. Prices for most items are not unreasonable compared to most grocery stores in Sunnyside. New specials and deals start every Friday, and you can pick up a circular at the entrance that covers all the deals for the week. Key Food is now also offering free food delivery service and are accept phone orders. Of course, the biggest treat is knowing that the awesome Taqueria Dalia taco truck (http://www.yelp.com/biz/taqueria-dalia-sunnyside) is parked just outside the exit. Nothing caps off grocery shopping quite like a delicious taco!

This store kept the bad milk, my receipt without a refund!

As always for the last 18 years, this morning I bought groceries from their 4602 Qns Blvd store but the Organic Valley milk that had an Expiry date as May 6, 2020 turned out to have gone bad or spoiled which I found out while boiling a small cup when reaching home. Since it smelled strong stale smell, I went to return the same morning immediately but Abdul, the manager would not give me credit for it, that was ~ $12.50. Explained but he wouldn't listen, walks away and shouted insults which was very horrifying. He asked me to leave the store without the milk and receipt for which I took photographs attached herewith and requested if he would still consider refunding me and he said "not at all". He has no manners and is uneducated or poorly educated running the store with no motive to listen and comprehend. This place is ridiculously expensive anyway but convenient hence the customers are always taken for granted for many years. I have seen incidents in the past but people at cash register are very friendly and helpful. He asked me to leave and there were two people pushing me to get out, despite my requests not to touch me and stay 6 feet away. Then I had to leave without milk, receipt or a refund. So I lost money, trust and respect for this franchise, sadly forever. I wish I could talk to someone else like a franchise owner who would listen hence he would not let me. Beware, they don't treat you as a customer and won't listen to you if you have any problems! This rude manager on the photo who tried to assault me and said he would kick my ass if it was outside the grocery store, for asking for refund for the stale milk returned within hours but keeps it and my receipt with no apology! This should not happen in a neighborhood store!

This place is literally right off 46 Street stop from the 7 line and it can get ridiculously busy because of their location. The supermarket itself is clean and neat but I have to say that the way they set up their aisles can be a bit awkward. When you first walk in you are right in their produces department and the maze starts here. They do have a great inventory a lot of options but its not cheap but very convenient for where they are located. They have a cheese section, bakery (love fresh baked rolls), fresh cooked Korean food fresh sushi, plus more. They are open 24 which works out perfectly for the people who get out of work late. Me, personally love to go food shopping night.

I love this neighborhood grocery store! They have a great deli and other pre made food options like hummus, guac, cheeses, sandwiches, pasta salads, etc... I especially like this place because they have a lot of awesome healthy drinks like kombucha, teas, iced coffees, and sparkling beverages. I always find something need here to try for a healthy snack or dessert.

The 7 layer cake is a beautiful work of art and the taste marches. Its a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting topped with strawberry and chocolate mouse. Note to the wise, don't make the same mistake I did. Always look at your cake once it is placed in the box. The display cake looked good, then I did not get to inspect the cake before it was placed in the box. Once I arrived home, I saw that the top part of the cake had a dent in the mouse and strawberry covering which made it look messy. It was an embarrassment to present it as such so I improvised by using the mother's day signage to cover up the blip. When I called to speak with the location about it they dealt with it very professionally and were apologetic about the situation and offered a comp. It was such a relief to have customer service go right after experiencing that.

We had low expectations, realizing it was in the middle of Times Square, assuming it would be a tourist trap like most places in Times Square. We were pleasantly surprised! It had really good crispness and delicious filling, which was vanilla forward (used to normal custard). Didn't try anything else except the lobster tail. They have other flavors as well -- we will try the Nutella flavored lobster tail next! AMBIANCE: Super small place (expected) so it's take away only. Would come back if I'm in the area again, although I tend to avoid due to crowds.

They don't have a large bagel sandwich or schmear section menu, they keep it simple here. But, I'm all about smoked salmon so we ordered the NY breakfast bagel sandwich. Bagel consistency was chewy and flavor profiles were light-for example I tasted a hint of the dill cream cheese schmear, hint of smoked salmon, chives, red onion , and lemon zest. Good, but would have liked stronger flavors or more of the ingredients. What shined was the cinnamon Babka! A dense bread with a soft gooey cinnamon goodness in the middle. Hard to have just one slice :D. They offer a chocolate one as well. Orwashers have a couple of locations, we happen to hit this one as it was on our way to The MET.

It's flaky, buttery, chocolately, and tender with some crispy edges. The cinnamon ones were good, but the chocolate ones are my favorite here. The cheese & cherry rugelach were delicious and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness and filling. I've previously had some of their other items, and can also recommend the dark chocolate babka (which I was lucky enough to purchase one time while it was still warm), the pistachio cherry croissant, and the spicy cheese stick. We were going in to the MET for a tour and only had time for something quick. Angelina was the perfect stop except I've been spoiled with the other two locations I've tried that are much larger, appealing and has more variety. This was a pretty hole in the wall location (in comparison to the others) and I wasn't super obsessed with the quality of the doing (again, in comparison to what I already know of Angelina). I'm not sure if they bake everything in house but it does feel more like they get smaller batches of things maybe frozen and then stick them in the oven and fill them. It doesn't taste the freshest, the croissant dough isn't as pillowy, crispy on the outside and full of layers and flakes that I'm regularly used to. I'm always happy eating anything with nutella so that was still a win, wish it was more in line with the regular Angelina experience. Also, they don't have the same amount of things and as extensive of a menu, so just know before you go :) No bathrooms either it seems like!
