Let's not be fooled as most of the people giving praises and complimenting the store are employees, family and may be some ppl who own the store. Let's be honest ... the customer service is horrible . Beginning with management. Now I don't have much to say about the short one bc he's always helpful n nice but the big one with the ponytail is rude af. The whole store shouldn't know who u fired last week and who u cursed out. He's always pissed with the staff , especially when the customer needs to return something. I guess it's too much for him to take his card off his belt and swipe it through the machine. As for the employees on the floor, none of them speak English so looking for something in the aisle... your own your own. Once u get to the register, the staff always has attitudes. There is one nice big guy on the register that was always smiling and nice but I guess he did the right thing by going back to school this fall bc I don't see him anymore. The food.... The prices are too high! You shouldn't have to pay 5 dollars for a box of noodles. But I guess we are going to blame inflation. Don't get ANY of the meats here !!!! Mold, out of date and thick juices in the chicken, bacon and all those meats. Have you smelled the seafood section! Enough said about that as it screams food poisoning. Go have a sniff yourself . I know this keyfood is convenient for ppl in the neighborhood but the best thing to purchase is the vegetables. Price well as well. Everything else is expensive and I don't trust the food quality. Don't believe me the. Go to the back and purchase a deli sandwich for ten dollars. Your better off making your own. Do better keyfood!!! On Sunday, October 8 my husband did our weekly shopping at this store making purchases totaling $140.00. Part of this purchase included 3 packages of 93/7 ground beef at $9.00 per pack. When we opened a pack on today Tuesday, October 10th we noticed a foul smell, upon looking at the second pack it had a grayish color and the third package was worse. All 3 packages had an expiration date of October 16. When my husband went to return it Management would only exchange 2 packages because we didn't have a receipt and one was opened. All groceries were wiped and refrigerated as soon as my husband got home, so therefore, the quality of this meat was very bad upon purchase. We are community members but we will no longer patronize this location. read more

Most KeyFoods are so perfectly organized. Once you walk in and look around , you'll be in awe of how clean and shiney everything is lol. All items are easy to find. Every aisle is labeled. Keyfood can be a bit on the pricey side so don't be suprised. The staff working on the floor don't really speak to you. They won't even bother to look at you . The cashiers are nice though, the make checkout and fast. I would recommend. read more

This is a great local supermarket. It isn't the largest supermarket I've been to, but it is one of my favorite mainly because of the customer service. The current manager there is awesome!!! He is extremely friendly and cares about his customers, as well as the store. Sad part is that he will be leaving to go to another store in a few months. read more

I bought four bottles of watermelon juice and every one was rancid. I wish I would have saved the receipt so I could have returned them but I didn't. They must have been stored improperly. I also noticed (too late) that they did not have an expiration date. Never again. read more

I hate rating this store 2 stars, but it's only because of the multiple food items that typically are expired on shelves. Nothing irks me more than when I pick up an item and find that the expiration date has past. No one should be sold expired food! So, that makes me cautious when purchasing fresh produce because if they'll keep expired cans on the shelves, why wouldn't they attempt to sell fruit & vegetables that are not the freshest?? (They have improved on the fish smell in the back...which was a clear indication the fish wasn't the freshest since fresh fish never has a "fishy" smell.) The good things about this location are: - Most of the younger workers & staff are friendly. - They keep the store tidy - and I appreciated their extended store hours during the Christmas Holiday. When use to live here this place was one of my go to spot, for groceries. Now that I'm here for the Christmas rush, the store as been very convenient. I made two trips back and forth to this location, close to closing, and we were able to get all things we needed. Whenever I'm in town, this will be go to spot for groceries. read more

Prices Don't Match The Quality: Several times I have purchased a steak for +$10, then as I turn the meat it looked oxidized. Beautiful on the top, brown on the bottom. Not to say all meat is like that, but why pay Manhattan prices for meat when I can go to Farmbria for a better quality meat, and lower prices? Employees: Rude. Plain and simple.You can't ask them questions without an attitude, nor ask them to check the prices. For the amount of people on shift you would expect some sort of friendly service. It's a bit pricey for a full grocery run, I would recommend going to Walmart for heavy grocery shopping. But for a young guy like myself. I drink a lot of fluids throughout the day. Know-nothing, unprofessional, classless Management who refuses to acknowledge their employees mistakes. Also, watch listed prices closely and "Sale" items are often not correctly priced at the register. My Cashier (who was not paying attention and busy talking to the cashier next to her) forgot to hand me a bag for my cart and started ringing up the next customer. I did not notice that until I got home. When I called to store I was told it was MY FAULT for "arguing with my girlfriend". I had to return to the store in a torrential rainstorm and they tried to give me the same bag with the same poultry item that had been sitting out for more than an hour. I'm appalled at the reaction of the manager at this supermarket. I wanted to donate some hard boiled eggs to a department at the local Mercy Medical Hospital. I went to this supermarket and after a long wait finally got to a cashier only to be told that I was only allowed to purchase 2 dozen. Of course, there were no such signs anywhere. When asked a manager explaining what the eggs were for especially being Easter Sunday, he just simply said "NO" with no remorse. Meanwhile, the cashier told me to go to a different register for it but he came over and yanked the eggs out of my hands in a very RUDE manner. I can understand the policy due to COVID-19. Then, why didn't they have any signs? His manner could have been much nicer. read more

This KeyFood is so convenient to the people like me who live in Rosedale. It's been here for a few years, not that long but it's beneficial and convenient. It's also located across from the bank and a gas station. I love how the store is kept which is clean and organized. The lighting is perfect. The staff is always dressed neatly in their uniforms which makes them very identifiable. Only thing they need to improve on is smiling a little more. My favorite is the seafood section. The guy who I'm guessing is the lead of the seafood department is great! He's sooooo welcoming and knows each and everyone of his loyal customers. He's one of the reasons why my family and I love coming to this location. Such an amazing person. The deli workers are great and accurate when taking an order. The cashiers are ok, no complaints customer service wise. Never had an issue with any of the staff. The only thing con is that the staff who are in charge of restocking meats and the vegetable section needs to be more friendly to customers who are around them when stocking instead of making us feel as if we are in their way/burden. I love this Keyfood !! It opened at this new location around the end of September of 2012 after being relocated. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I've met a few of the managers and they are always helpful. This supermarket is always clean and I haven't had a problem with the food. read more

Great store! The employees are fabulous and very helpful. The black guy with the hat that works in the back is very nice and knows where everything is in the store. I'm glad this is in the neighborhood. The manager is very friendly. The staff are well trained and helpful. Some are unfriendly but alot is young kids work there.... enough said... they feeling themselves. It's a small location but it's not crowded, the food prices are great and the location is perfect! Good work!!! Only thing that I do want to point out is the fish station in the back. The fish is fresher in the mornings! After 11 the back of the store smells really gross. Everytime I go there they have these sale signs and then when you go to the register they tell you something different. They write these tiny letters making you think that you are really getting the item for the price shown and you're not. I am a loyal customer there because I live near by so I go there almost everyday. If you read the sign it states add 1 rice of your purchase of 75 dollars and then you will get the rice 2 for 10 dollars. I spent 86 dollars. In my mind I thought when I first read it if I spend minimum of 75 dollars I get the bag of rice 2 for 10 dollars. I spoke to the Manager after the boy bagged all my groceries and put it in the cart. The Manager said no he can't give it to me because they lose money if they do. I don't think that's good Customer service knowing that I am a loyal customer and I am already spending $86 dollars. I feel as a courtesy he should of given me the rice 2/$10.00 dollars. What I did was I didn't purchase any of my groceries. Even though I might of misread it. I felt he wasn't fair to me.
