CASH ONLY! Tiny little taco shack with lots of outdoor seating, but if you go on a rainy day like we did, there's not much room inside. This is not table service- you order at the counter and sit down, so people don't long, which was good for us because we were waiting for a table. The tacos are double tortilla, so they don't fall apart, and they are PACKED. I ordered the two specials- one shrimp, one chicken. Honestly one would've been enough. The platters come with rice and chips which I was excited about but the rice was bland and the chips were kind of stale-from-a-bag. The tacos were delicious though. read more

I just visited Key West tacos for the second time in the last several weeks and I was not disappointed. The food tasted delicious. I had the barbecue brisket platter. The portions are healthy. I would definitely recommend checking out this no-frills beach taco spot in Cape May. The little shop punches way above its weight. read more

This place is a must go to if you are in Cape May. They offer interesting taco options. My favorite part is the local seafood they use and how they make speciality tacos so the menu switches up constantly. Key West offers their own home made sauce which you can try out on their nacho chips offered. I got the Ahi tuna taco which was amazing! There was a good amount of tuna with pineapples in the taco as well. One taco definitely leaves you stuffed! read more

We had a fish taco, pulled pork taco, chicken quesadilla and a nacho supreme. The place is super kitchy & cute with a small indoor section as well as outdoor seating. The staff is pretty friendly as well. The two tacos, although stuffed generously with meat and extras, were both pretty bland. The chicken quesadilla was solid and the nachos was the star of the show. It was tremendous and bursting with flavor and toppings. You can add on proteins for an additional few dollars as well, but honestly you don't even need it. When we go back I'm skipping the trendy named bland tacos and going to the Main event nacho supreme. Let's get ready to savage. read more

So tired of trying to eat here when it's always closed during hours that it is supposed to be open. Went Monday at 12:30 when they are supposed to open at 11:30 and not a sign if anyone there. Was told by someone familiar with the situation that there are staffing issues. I get that it's hard to get help but it's an inconvenience when you invite friends to meet you there, park, just to find out it's closed (again). Hoping they can figure things out. read more

Small little place in Cape May with Key West vibes. 2 tacos in a platter but they give you an extra shell per taco which acts perfect as another taco that collects all the extras that falls out of the main one. I got the catch of the day tacos, and my boyfriend got the pulled pork ones. Will definitely be back again! read more

Best fish tacos! First time eating here because we always forget it's cash only. Platters are huge, tried the fish taco platter, islander steak and the classic. Everything was perfect but the fish tacos are the best. Fun al fresco eating area, quick service, lots of people getting takeout. Food was super fresh, great pico. Got takeout at 1230 PM in august. We were able to order over the phone which was nice. Some nights they only do in person ordering. They said it would be 5-10 minutes and by the time we got there only waited another minute and it was ready. Took our food home as it was a bit hot out and the outdoor seating area was full. The vegetable taco platter was huge and tasty. The single shrimp taco was very full of slaw and the shrimp were well cooked. J.b.'s Famous Fish Taco nice and authentic. I really enjoy supporting little places when i can. I see this place sell out constantly during the summer months, making it intriguing to try out. I thought my meal was good but nothing extraordinary, the chips were like premium Tostitos and the guacamole was simple with not much flavor to it. My meal was done well, i enjoyed my taco and it was tasty and not fishy whatsoever. A big bonus was that all the ingredients tasted super fresh, but def nothing to write home about overall. This place is certainly a gem! I am a local and was looking to grab something quick to eat for lunch with my two kids. We chose to get take out even though it was adorable on the inside and very cute outside. The tacos are huge and super filling. We tried the chicken, tuna, and short rib and they were all absolutely delicious! On top of the great food I would just like to mention every single one of the staff were polite and kind. This small taco stand at the corner may be easy to miss from the road, but you will notice it immediately on a walk through the town. The atmosphere is wonderful with a small indoor dining area and an outside area with large picnic tables under a tarp with fans to keep the air circulating. The food is beyond amazing. The tacos each have 2 tortillas and are filled to the brim with meat, cheese, and vegetables. My nacho plate was enormous, fitting of the "Lots of Nachos" title to the platter. There was a variety of local hot sauces to sample on your tacos. The one hot sauce was good enough that I had to purchase it later from a local shop. The food surpasses anything from any other type of chain restaurant that serves tacos. If you are in the area and are up for a good lunch, please be sure to visit. A little place serving the best damn seafood tacos I've tasted. I had the ahi tuna taco platter and my wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi (special) taco platter. Love that they play Jimmy Buffet Fun Music. The inside is tiny and cramped, but they have a cute, outside, picnic area to utilize as well. Definitely highly recommend and will be back. read more

Take out for 7 ready in 10 minutes. The prices are as reasonable as you can expect at a tourist trap but the quality surpassed my highest expectations. The pulled pork tacos were wonderful, the crab, shrimp and chicken tacos all received high marks. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is hardly traditional TexMex so don't expect that; but if you want to try something refreshingly different, head to Key West Tacos. read more

Since discovering this hidden gem, every time we've gone to Cape May it's a must. Love their fish tacos (grouper, mahi-mahi or tuna), they are the best I've ever had. Overflowing with fresh stuff, and very flavorful. I always need extra napkins after I go there! Their steak tacos are great also. And they have great "small batch" hot sauces on their tables. Nice outdoor space, but not that big, with excellent music filling the air. I shouldn't write such a good review, now I won't be able to find a table when I go there. ;) read more

After coming to Cape May for years, I finally made it out to Key West Tacos - normally I'm too lazy to leave the beach, so a cloudy day sent me right to get tacos! I tried their fish taco and it was SO GOOD! The chipotle sauce was such a good complement! The tacos were really great sizes and came with chips! I wish there was a salsa bar of some sort to compliment the chips. I love all of the decor and bright colors of the exterior and interiors. These tacos are delicious! The ingredients are very fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. At first glance, it is a little pricey, but a "single" is a taco so large that you can't really close it and comes with two warm, thick tortillas and a generous side of chips. The single taco is more equivalent to an order of two or three tacos. I ordered the Ahi Tuna taco, and the tuna was amazingly fresh and cooked perfectly! The owner was also wonderfully friendly. He saw us on a Wednesday, when they are closed, and honored our six-year-old gift certificate. Definitely recommend trying Key West Tacos! read more

Hit the spot... but hit the wallet harder. Initially I was shocked by the high prices. For a single (but large) taco it ranges from 6-9 dollars. The platters of 2 tacos are 11.50- 17 dollars. Quite a bit too high. The variety almost seems to drown out while you scramble to find something affordable that you want to eat on the menu. While the food was a bit too pricey, the portions were rather sizable. The two tacos were large (but for 6.50 each they should be) and came with rice and some chips. It was very delicious. And was a good amount of food. My brother even got a box because he couldn't finish his. The guac was 2.50 for a very small Dixie cup sized portion and was not great in flavor. Don't recommend getting it on the side. Outdoor seating was nice. Would potentially go again, only because it's cape may and a great location. Tacos always hit the spot. Just wish they were a little cheaper! read more

We ate a couple of tacos and they were very mediocre (and overpriced, paying 18$ for two). The place did not have a bathroom and the waitress told me to go to the corner CVS to use one, it's pretty incredible you can't even wash your hands in a place you typically eat with them. The teenager waitress was very rude to us the two times we asked her questions. Not a great dinner experience. read more

The hummus tessera comes with 4 types of hummus (original, red pepper, basil and olive) and pita bread. All are delish, but the basil is my fav! And the homemade pita is next level. The chicken souvlaki comes with lemon potatoes, tzatziki and your choice of greek or caesar salad. It's so classic and so delish!! I get this every time. My friend had this as well and loved it. If you love Greek food, you have to try one of their George's Place locations. Truly top notch!
