Obviously no one is gonna have their car towed then give the place an amazing review. So this review is regarding my first time picking up a truck i bought at an auction. Izzy I'm pretty sure was the girl who helped me at the front desk, and i really have to applaud her patience. I saw a car i liked and had to have it, without doing as much research and preparation as i should have. I swear I wouldn't hold it against her if she just stopped helping me and told me to leave that day. I came in to swoop da whip at the very last minute before their lunch break (had to wait for a ride) - with not enough money (didn't realize i needed more than what i bid) - with a debit card that had a daily limit on what I could spend (straight up didn't know) - with a DEAD cell phone on me (no excuse ‍) so i couldnt even call the bank- and a few other things I'm sure. At one point i gave up and was gonna leave and come back another day, but she stayed past the time she was supposed to, and helped me think of ways that i can solve the issues i was dealing with. Mostly with the help of my buddy that drove me there. Even he commented to me that the lady behind the desk was being way nicer than most front desk attendants at a tow yard are notoriously known to be. She even called the guy that u pick up the car from across the street and told him we were coming since he too was going on his lunch break. When we got there he was already pulling up in my truck, otherwise i would have had to wait at least an hour for him to get back. So thank u Izzy! Shoutout from Don too. read more

Yesterday I pulled in front my parents house at 8:30 AM in the morning, in the pouring rain, I left my car and dropped a few things off inside and within minutes through the window I see a tow truck latching itself onto my car. I let the tow truck guy, Frank, know that I was only there for a couple of minutes, and I was leaving because I was headed to work. he refused to put my car down so I got inside. We then waited for the police to show up, when they arrived, they didn't even realize this was a no parking zone, because as shown in the photo below, that line is not clear, it's barely painted and nearly completely worn off. After about two hours of arguing, with the police completely on our side, Frank finally agreed to put the car down for a $97 fee, which was still ridiculous. I understand you're contracted with the HOA here to tow cars, but if the HOA is not maintaining the no parking and tow signs it is illegal to tow that vehicle. "If a towing company removes a vehicle under a general authorization described in subparagraph (E) of paragraph (1) and that vehicle is unlawfully parked within 15 feet of a fire hydrant or in a fire lane, or in a manner that interferes with an entrance to, or exit from, the private property, the towing company shall take, prior to the removal of that vehicle, a photograph of the vehicle that clearly indicates that parking violation." SEC. 57.503.4.2. FIRE LANE MAINTENANCE. All employees are misinformed and give incorrect information over the phone and in person. They are incompetent and incredibly unprofessional. The mannerism they obtain and work ethics shows clearly in just the moment I was in their vicinity. They don't have good customer service, as they are talking to a customer they are also multi tasking talking to their coworkers about inappropriate and very personal things. If they try to force you to tow your car there - just have them tow it to your house till you figure it out. One of the most gummy businesses I've ever come across even for a towing company. They're known for towing cars with disabled plates and cars that have been parked for less than 10 minutes. Have also been unwilling to stop towing when the owner of the vehicle comes out well within time to put the car back, and charges really exorbitant fees for less than 10 minutes in their lot. Truly such an evil set of people that are so willing to take advantage of Anyone they can make a dollar off of. I understand that these tow companies make money by towing but they have no consideration when doing it. Instead of towing cars that are part of the working class they should be towing cars that are illegally parked or abandoned but no they decide to go for people are working. When we called, they had left two minutes after we checked the car and when asked, they had the audacity to lie about that it was already at the towing station which was a lie!! It was as $288.10 to get it out. They could easily let us know and pay the dropping fee as we also had to go to work early and they supposedly open at 7 AM for the public went online. Does anyone know any information in regard to building a case against this towing company? We have been towed twice by them the first time we thought the car was stolen so we made a police report and kept calling all towing locations but they were yet to locate the car keep in mind this is a ("POLICE GARAGE") They waited around 11 days to tell us they had it in their possession the whole time even tho we had called and asked we also filed a police report they ran the VIN number but couldn't locate the car either, so Keystone waited 11 days just to inform us they had the car the whole time. We had to pay roughly around 1,000$ just to take it out. If we had know the first day it was there we would have took it out right away. Fast forward to yesterday the car ended up missing again, even tho it was parked legally. Come to find out Keystone towed it again , but this time they towed it from a location we had no knowledge it was parked at, we had parked the car in front of our home the address they put on their paper is not where we parked the car. So something was already fishy their. ID LIKE TO PUT THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE THAT WERE THE WORST HELP. If I could give them no stars I would! After my car was towed, I went to pick it up from Keystone. All seemed fine, they never said there was an issue with my car or anything. I signed my forms and asked for my car. They (conveniently for them) have a policy where they drive you out of their lot. This combined with the papers I just signed make them not liable for any damage done to your car!! When I pulled away I heard a scratching noise under my car and found that they had broken the rubber protector off my bumper and it was hanging in the street, dragging under my car. I also hear a clicking noise under the car. I call my insurance and get the bad news that basically I can file a claim and get no where with the tow truck company unless I waste my own time and take them to small claims court. Also, while I was there waiting I saw them moving a car with a forklift! Forklift! That can not be good for the undercarriage. This is not okay . They sold me a car and said it was clean title and gave me registration paperwork. After selling the car, I found out the car is a total loss and can NOT be registered anywhere, it can only Can be used for Parts. Two vending machines that say Keystone Towing is not responsible for these machines put money in at your own risks. Bulletproof glass you talk through. They have cars stacked on shelfs which is something I have not seen before. There is a bit of wait since there is only 1 guy behind the counter to help you and only one other guy to bring out your car. Nobody was rude though so I will give them points for that. I've been there a few times, once to pick up a family members car and other times to their auctions. Service was not bad when I went to pick up a car. It was not my car however it was a fairly easy process. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I can see why most people don't like their experience here. If it was my car I am sure I would have been a bit more irritable. The auctions are not too bad. You can find some nice cars and decent prices. If you are looking to flip em then it's a good place to go. There are a few junkers here and there but it's to be expected. You can view the cars before the action and there is a staff member walking around prior to the auction testing out cars to ensure that they turn on. The lady behind the counter is the biggest, most useless airhead I have ever met. First off i'm fully aware that its my own fault for having been towed, however this oompa loompa of a lady kept condescending to me telling me that I needed to "understand" every charge.
