Well, let's start off with customer service. There was none. I walked in to get my order after placing it via the app. It was set up for 2 PM in the afternoon. I was there on time. I waited for my food where it said mobile pick up. Multiple staff members walked by and made eye contact. Never said a word. So I sat back and watched. Slowly some of the workers disappeared into the back. About 13 minutes later and gentlemen came up to the counter with my food are you Don. I said yes and quickly walked out with my food. The dinning area was clean. The kitchen looked OK I guess. Thank God I only have to go there once a year for my father's birthday meal. The only reason I go. Avoid this place like the plague. Chicken tenders were hard and chewy, like they had been sitting for a long time. The French fries were not crispy, they were limp and soggy. The chicken sandwich from the $7 box was smashed and was not warm. I go to KFC regularly and have never been this disappointed. Worse part is it was in the drive thru, so once you drive off there's not much you can do. Makes me wonder if they give drive thru customers the food thats been sitting there. read more

I had not been here for about 6 months, glad to know things haven't changed. Took extra long to receive my food No workers to take my order. Order service is now through a kiosk. But no receipt is available, only through text (with a charge) or email and (they will sell my information.) FOOD, stated a 10 piece bucket of chicken, but only got 5 greasy legs with 3 greasy thighs. Kids meal should have been nuggets, not little chunks of breading. Biscuits were good. read more

" Chicken Sandwich was Good but Fries NO " I went again to the Kentucky Fired Chicken store in Banning, CA. A Few times before this visit everything that I ordered was cooked and looked terrible. Terrible and unethical/dishonest customer service. My family and I were driving through Banning last night (11/24/24) when it was dinnertime, so we decided to stop at the KFC off of the freeway. When we were looking at the menu at the drive-thru, it wasn't immediately clear how much the buckets of chicken (without any sides or drinks or meals) cost, so we asked, and the team member taking our order said that the 8-piece was $25+, and she also gave us the prices of the buckets with more pieces, which were even more expensive, obviously. First of all, for each piece of fried chicken from a fast-food joint, and one of the less desirable places at that, with no white meat/breast, to cost over $3, half of them just tiny drumsticks or wings, is ridiculously expensive. When we were considering whether to pay this crazy price for 8 pieces of chicken before ordering, we noticed that above the lit-up menu at the drive thru, there was a cardboard sign that said that a 14-piece chicken bucket was $25. That was strange, because the lady taking our order didn't tell us about it, so we asked about that deal. When we asked, she let out a "Haha, oh, that... (as if saying, "Oops, you got me") that's a promotion we have right now." So... why didn't she tell us about that promotion for nearly twice amount of chicken for the same price? It was for sure intentional, given her reaction, meaning that she purposely didn't tell us about the promotion so she could, what, make more money for her boss i.e. the owner of the franchise? This was disappointing and very shady, dishonest, and unethical. We ended up choosing to go with the promo deal, of course, but the lady also didn't ask A) what type of chicken we wanted i.e. original recipe, extra crispy, etc., B) if we wanted standard dark meat or mix of white and dark, or C) if we needed anything else such as sauces, plates, cutlery, etc. Nothing. When we drove up to the window to pay for and grab our food, she didn't even as much as include a handful of napkins with the bucket of chicken that she handed us. What kind of sociopath thinks it's okay to serve greasy fried chicken without offering/including napkins? When we realized/noticed that she hadn't asked us if we wanted any of those things, and we didn't have any napkins, we ended up pulling into the parking lot next door after pulling out of the drive-thru, and physically walking into the KFC store to ask for those items. Like I said, terrible and shady customer service. Do yourselves a favor if you live in/around Banning or are passing through like we were last night, and bring your business somewhere else to support a restaurant that has more honesty, integrity, basic common courtesy, and decent customer service. Oh, and like some others have reported, the overall cleanliness and condition of the store on the inside, including their restrooms (we ended up using them after going into the store to ask for some other items), are pretty dirty and run down. read more

I just ordered the 12 piece chicken tender meal at the window. I saw on their menu that the price was $23. When I was completing my order, they said the price would be $41. I questioned them at the window and they said the online price is cheaper, and they wouldn't match it even though it's on their yelp page not on an online ordering site. I just paid twice the price, and the lady couldn't justify me to why there were such a discrepancy from their yelp page menu. Never again. read more

Chicken was extra greasy, fries were almost inedible due to excess salt, dinning room was dirty, tables were not clean, no rhyme or reason as to which tables were open and which were closed. One side of the bench seating had both tables open the other side had one open and one closed, but back to back you are closer to the other table than any other in the dinning room. At least the staff was friendly but poor cleaning and food, they are lucky for one star. read more

As you enter there are issues with the doors opening guest have to open the doors for other guest. Doors and windows look like they have not been cleaned in years. The floors and tables are filthy. This place is the fkn worst. I always have an issue when I'm here but normally just 1 thing and I just brush it off. Today I ordered 16p tender meal with 4 sides cost $60 with taxes. I asked for 2 Mac n Cheese and 2 Mashed Potatoes and GRAVY. I asked for butter for the biscuits and HONEY MUSTARD. Do you wanna ask me what I didn't get. If it was 1 thing missing okay brush it off 2 things missing okay still annoyed but 3 things missing? WHAT THE H3!! especially when you miss the mark on the dang gravy for the potatoes. I decide okay I'll call them and just advise them someone doesn't know how to read a order ticket but then I call them... I have a screen recording of me calling them and the phone ringing for 10 minutes. I called 7/8 times and they let it ring and ring and ring.. once it got picked up and they hung up. So now, they get to see me in person tomorrow instead of hearing me on the phone AND now I'm extra upset. I wrote this out fast so I don't know if it all makes sense and I don't wanna go back and fix any errors so hopefully it's right Lol.. bottom line why are we still going to this dang place. Just went there today and the inside was closed for no apparent reason, the line took forever in the drive thru and when we got up to the speaker we tried to order and only then did they say we are out of everything you want!! When we asked for a spicy chicken sandwich they said we don't have the bread for that and what do we see at the window and cashier area being stored? Tons of bread for the sandwiches! Came here for the first time in over a year hoping to have the All You Can Eat Buffet, but they said it may never open up again. So, I ordered the 3 piece ALL WHITE MEAT combo. Hmmmm. The coleslaw was the only thing that was edible for my $11+ I paid.....Grrrr. And, who serves warm Ranch dressing ? It should always be refrigerated. I'm acutely aware I'm reviewing a KFC and not much to be expected. Here was my experience today. Walked in and watched their staff sweep and prep food for close to 6 minutes before "Carlos" decided to approach the register and ask if we were ready. Carlos was sweeping bare handed, set his broom to the side, took our order and proceeds back to the kitchen to make our food. He never washed his hands and prepared so many peoples food. I literally ordered 2 feet from Carlos and he got most of our order wrong. Missed our side that we added on. While we sat and ate, I kid you not, close to 10 people came in who had ordered drive thru and their food was either wrong or completely missing. This is atrocious and not acceptable behavior. Just because you are a fast food chain does not constitute poor hygiene and lack of work ethic. It's literally chicken and mashed potatoes. read more

If you're looking for burned fun sized chicken this is the spot. I ordered the 14 pc with two sides and biscuits it came out to like 30 bucks because they charge extra for changing the sides but okay. I ordered the chicken crispy and when I got home and opened the bucked it was a almost dark brown color and the drumsticks are sized for a toddler. I know my chicken and this chicken was cooked in old oil and tasted funny. Besides that some parts of the chicken where also burned like charcoal burned. I called to let them know and the person who answered was so rude and I told her not to give me attitude and she's like I'm not being rude you can come exchange your chicken. I wasn't looking for a free meal but come on you have people paying 30 bucks for a meal and you give them a fun sized chicken bucket filled with burned charcoal then be ready to expect customers calback upset. read more

I haven't had KFC in a few years and KFC just sounded good to me. So, I went today at this location for lunch because I needed to stay close by the area. The chicken was ok but the biscuit was hard the potatoes didn't taste good at all and they put just alittle bit of gravy. Coleslaw was ok. While traveling I decided to stop in since I have been impressed by other KFC stores in other towns. And this store did not disappoint. Upon my entrance I was greeted in a friendly manner. I noticed immediately how clean everything was and behind the scene I could see how clean and organized everything appeared to be. I went for the extra crispy chicken with mashed potatoes with extra gravy, and string beans. The potatoes were great as always and the chicken was hot and cooked correctly. Stay away. This place is more disgusting than you can imagine. We stopped to get some food and use the bathroom. When I got in the bathroom it smelled horrible because the toilet was backed up and clearly nothing had been cleaned in quite some time. I turned to leave - but the doorknob came off in my hand! I tried to open the door but it wouldn't open. They were sparsely staffed so no one heard me banging on it. My family had headed to the car so I called them and told them what was going on. They came in and asked the worker to try to get the door open. After trying unsuccessfully he told me to back up and kicked the door open. So 5 stars for the worker saving me and zero for this horrible disgusting place. I guess I have a story to tell at least. read more

Everytime my family visits this establishment, they always without fail, mess up our order. We are always given incorrect sides. Coleslaw instead of potatoes, mac and cheese instead of biscuits. On top of that, the manager here is a poece of work. I called to complain about the problem amd all she can tell me is "we are short staffed". The way i see it, short staffed or not, competent people can read a screen and grab the correct items. The manager also hung up on me when i was telling her about our situation and that it happens a lot and she needed to rectify the problem. Instead of providing me with a solution, she simply said what do you want me to do about it? Ummm how about serving us hot food, maybe not burnt food on top of that. And lets make sure the sides are correct. Its not master chef kitchen. Its frying some chicken and grabbing prepacked sides.
