They don't have any chicken at 7pm. Aren't cooking anymore. Waste of a stop and I'm hungry. Thank god for Church's chicken in Banning!

I kept going hoping that one day i would taste the same chicken flavor from LA, LB, OC. But never happened even though I was there 1x weekly or 1x every other week. Now I live in Banning, and this is the closest el pollo loco, we tried it, chicken meals, and sides, chicken tostada salads very delicious, very tasty. Friendly staff, cleaned. Thank you, I missed this flavor for so long. The ambiance was great. See you soon. Thank you and thanks to all the staff members. Please train the Cat City mgrs and staff how to work like you.

In my case, I came in specifically to try their new chicken fingers, which ended up small, dry , over cooked, and stale tasting.....at an outrageous cost of 2 for $5.99. I also bought one of their usually reliable basic chicken bowls which in the past have always featured chicken BREAST.....but this time it was 50/50 between white and my hated dark meat. Why? Is the cook not aware of what the procedure is......OR, did the franchisee decide to change the bowl contents? Also, they ran out of their usual pile of hard copy specials flyers. Who can afford EPL or Popeye's at non-discounted prices? Word is spreading about this location, so hopefully someone will step in to stop the bleeding. How many people will be coming in if they get to 10 1-star YELP reviews in a row???

I went in wanting to redeem my points for the free sub club sandwich and a 6.99 foot long. Sue me…read morefor trying to save some money. I order the sandwiches (2 steak and egg breakfast) , everything was great until checkout. When they scan my points, the free sub club sandwich comes up, which they redeem and I got the receipt for the 1st sandwich. The 6.99 foot long was online only so I asked the cashier if I was able to buy it online but it qualifies for the 2nd sandwich. She said yes that's fine. As I'm trying to order, breakfast is no longer popping up for this location, so I asked would I do a Philly cheesesteak with added egg? She says yes. While ordering the Philly, there's so options to add on egg. Only bacon, avocado, and pepperoni. I placed the order for the Philly. Once it comes up, the cashier checks the receipt and asked why the egg isn't added. I explained the app doesn't give the option to... she tells her manager. I'm showing the manager the app doesn't show the breakfast steak and egg or an add on egg for the Philly. He starts questioning where is the third sandwich bc I only got two, and saying the Philly has more meat and they have to charge for the egg bc they aren't "giving away free food". I'm not asking for free food I'm trying to use both of my coupons... I explain that the cashier said it was okay to order the Philly In place of the steak and egg breakfast.. I said if it's really serious, I'll pay for the egg again as I payed the $3 for the first sandwich already... I said sir can I please explain exactly what I'm trying to do? There is no third Philly with egg, there's two steak and egg breakfast sandwiches. He didn't hear me out at all and said "you're getting hype and I'm on my lunch so I'm not gonna deal with you" ... I'm not getting hype I'm trying to explain the app limitations ... safe to say I won't try to explain or use my coupons here again since it's such a battle ..? Mind u I had my card ready to pay for the egg I just wanted to explain the app doesn't let you ..

I am writing to provide some constructive feedback regarding my experience at the WaBa Grill in…read moreBeaumont. I consistently find their food to be of high quality and appreciate the healthy dining options available on your menu. Specifically, I have always been impressed by the consistent tenderness and flavor of the beef, the perfectly steamed vegetables, and the ideally cooked rice, which maintains a distinct texture rather than being overly soft. Your new Thai Tea is delicious. However, the overall customer experience, particularly during peak lunch and dinner hours, appears to be significantly impacted by operational challenges. It seems the substantial volume of orders received through your mobile app and online platforms, while undoubtedly convenient, places considerable strain on the current fabulous staff. This often leads to extended wait times and a noticeable deceleration in service efficiency, which can detract from an otherwise excellent meal. Regarding the restaurant's upkeep, I would describe the current cleanliness standards as generally satisfactory. Nevertheless, I believe that an increase in staffing levels, especially during busy periods, would allow for more thorough and frequent attention to detail, thereby elevating the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the dining environment.

The style, decor, music and ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was excellent, everyone was nice, friendly and worked well as a unit. Let's get to the food... I'll start by saying yes, yes and yes. From the appetizers to the desert.. spot on! To start we had cocktails. My wife had the Bayou Berry Smash, and I went with the Pecan Hips Old Fashion. The bartender did his thing on those cocktails. For the appetizer we chose Craw Fish Pies. The crust was buttery and flaky. There was just enough filling to get some in every bite. For the main courses, she chose the Sautéed Quater Catfish. She substituted the sauteed catfish for fried. The fish is served over a satuee of shrimp, crab, creole rice and ratatouille. It was exceptional! It was a big portion, but she ate every bit of it. Literally, no notes. I ordered the Crawfish St. Charles. A whole perfectly fried catfish filet on a bed of etouffée. The plating was beautiful and creative. There was a crawfish peeking through the curled end of the filet, which was fried to perfection. It was succulent, hot, crunchy, and juicy. That d!%# crawfish etouffée had me looking for a granny to walk out of the kitchen. It was sooo good, the perfect amount of spice and herbs, balanced with the gravy and crawfish and was perfect. We also ordered a side of red beans and rice. I had to try it, and it didn't disappoint. Once again they knocked it out of the park. The spice level, the texture of the beans and that smokey sausage hit the mark. To finish ourselves off we had the Croissant Beignets. All I can say is little pillows of heaven! We will most definitely pay them another visit. Pro Tip.. make sure you order the sausage with your red beans and Rice, the order doesn't come with it.

Drinks: - All the drinks were strong but the strongest was the hurricane (lots of rum). I found all the drinks to have a good amount of alcohol and tasty. The Berry Smash was probably my least favorite but not bad - very sweet though. Appetizers - Brussels Sprouts had a heavy balsamic flavor that was strong in flavor but enjoyable - frog legs - you get a good number of pieces and I don't get to eat this often so definitely worth a try - gumbo small - individual sized gumbo that has a little kick with a mix of seafood options Entrees - Quarter Catfish (fried was recommended) - nice piece size that was fried well and tasty, there was lump crab with a butter sauce that was great (I actually liked this more than the catfish) - Crawfish Pasta - not bad but decent. not the most flavorful considering most things were. - shrimp jambalaya - you can substitute the rice for pasta - strong kick, a little dry as pasta and decent Desserts: - Bread pudding in bourbon sauce - comes out sizzling and made in house; wasn't my favorite I think the sauce was too much - Carrot cake - definitely the best dessert they have; reminds me of a carrot cake cinnabon - Cheesecake - the top layer has a very sharp cheddar taste; not your classic mild cheesecake - you must really like cheese to enjoy this Overall I thought the food items they really experimented with and enjoyed the creativity. I don't think everything sat well with my taste but the food was very enjoyable and not too pricey. Staff was very polite though service was slow with the entrees I enjoyed our waiter a lot. Not too many creole food places that I've found that I've enjoyed and had an overall good experience here. Food wasn't perfect, but I applaud them on the uniqueness of the food, friendly waiter, and local business. Would definitely come back again. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5
