I've only ever used the drive thru at this location, but I've been satisfied every time. I've been to KFC's where the chicken was incredibly lackluster (soggy on the outside, dry on the inside), so I was relieved to find that the closest fried chicken joint near me had decent fried chicken. If you were to compare it to Golden Chick, the tenders might not be amazing (which isn't saying that much since Golden Chick has incredible tenders for a chain restaurant), but are still admirably delicious. Combo it with their BBQ sauce, hot sauce or even homemade Cane's sauce (easily the best choice) for a delicious meal. As far as service goes, there was one occasion where some jerk ordered all the drumsticks (and I mean all of them, fried, grilled, you name it he took every last one and left the rest of us in the line with nothing but wings and breasts) and took 15 solid minutes to do it. I'm writing this review as I wait for my order. Yea, that's how long it's taking for me to get my order. My first time here was about four years ago. I went through the drive-thru and thought I would never leave. The longest wait of my life for what I believed to be fast food...made worse by the fact that I really had to use the bathroom and couldn't leave because I was sandwiched between the numerous cars in line with me. My second time, I decided to be wiser and order from inside. Upon walking inside, I noticed only one person ahead of me in line and was immediately assured I had made the right decision. But it apparently doesn't matter where you order from. Cuz even once you give your order, you're gonna wait forever for your food. The only good thing about this place was the friendly person at the counter, who's the only reason I'm giving this KFC two stars as opposed to one. Running out of food also seems to be a regular thing here. A customer before me waited eons for his order, only to be told they had run out of the crispy chicken he ordered. And I was just now told they didn't have the corn on the cob I've been waiting forever for. Thank goodness for Yelp. Horrible service. Awful employees. Ordered door dash pickup. Said it would take 25-30 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later. It took ten minutes before I even got anyone's attention. When I finally gave them my name for pickup, she "accidentally" deleted the order. I've already paid for it. She has to get help finding the order. So now I know it hasn't even been started. I've been waiting now for twenty minutes, even though I ordered online nearly an hour ago. The staff is audibly terrible at communicating with each other. I've never purchased food here without something missing. In the last month, in drive-through, I purchased a meal that included a biscuit. No biscuit. That happened on the first two times I went. Tonight, (my third visit), I ordered online and picked it up, and this time, I ordered biscuits as a side so they wouldn't forget. They showed me! When I got home, my popcorn chicken didn't have the dipping sauces I ordered. No dipping sauces at all. AND, the two biscuits I ordered...did not come with the honey I ordered. Or butter. I had a pot pie from the KFC in Southlake and it was delicious. It had juicy, tender chicken and lots of gravy. It made me crave it a few days later, so I tried this KFC near my house. That was a mistake. My first bite, I realized I had a bone in my mouth. I looked inside and saw another bone. It was dry and not nearly enough gravy. This location is in the heart of oak town. With that being stated it gets quiet busy. Luckily for me, there was no line that day. They took my order very speedily and I received my food in a timely manner. I'm a big condiments person. Don't you just hate, when you go to dig in your food, and uh oh no silverware. Went through the drive through at 9:20 PM. Ordered the $20 fill up and asked to substitute one of the sides for something different. Was told no substitutions are allowed. I commented that I've had this request done many times and was told again (in a matter of fact tone) "no substitutions are allowed". I would have gladly paid a price difference for the substitution, but that was not offered. It was apparent this employee could care less if I eat at KFC so my reply was "I will take my business elsewhere" and I did. I waited for almost 10 minutes just to drive up to the menu to order, after speaking to two rude employees when placing my order, I was told to drive up, waited at least two minutes before anyone came to the window with my drinks. The employee took my payment, I waited almost 5 minutes after that. She came to the window and asked me to pull up to the parking lot and that she will bring out my order. 5 minutes had past and I decided to go into the building to make sure they did not forget about my order. I stood at the counter until someone noticed me and I asked about my order. When I guess the girl I talked to got the manager she came out and was very rude to me saying how its gonna be two minutes. Meanwhile, a friend of the employees came up to get speedy service of a free bucket of chicken. I waited for at least 5 more minutes until I got my order shoved into a bag and handed to me. No napkins, utensils, or an apology for the wait. I wanted to get out of there because I was on my lunch break which had already been wasted for the past 25 minutes(They never warned me of how long the wait was)- When I got back to my workplace I noticed that I was charged for 10 pc "bites" but they gave me a 6pc, even in the box labeled 6 pieces. Completely dissatisfied and I warn all of my coworkers to never go there for this absolutely rude and horrible service. This place should be shut down for good. read more

We went to KFC tonight after a late night craving. Wish we had craved something else. After a 20 minute drive to get there and 20 minutes back home, we were disappointed to find out that the order was wrong, the chicken tasted OLD, like a day old, the corn had a bad odor, and the biscuits were stale. This was extremely disappointing and a waste of $30. We called as soon as we started eating this disgusting day old food to complain and the manager, Maria, was rude and hung up on us. Called back a second time and she provided the worst customer service and did not care. Needless to say we will NEVER be going back to this location again.
