I went thru the drive thru to get lunch before my next class. The experience was good! I ordered a famous bowl fill up meal and a 3 piece Nashville hot tenders meal. The famous bowl was delicious as always. I love it! I get it everytime I go. The Nashville tenders on the other hand were not as great. They had a decent amount of spice to them but virtually no flavor, probably because they were drowning in grease. It was disgusting. My problem with this place is that they NEVER have what you want in stock...having 3 kids, the drive-thru is my best option...but I always have to pull around to the front because it will take 5 min. (which is usually 10 min. or until I get out of my car to see what the heck is going on with my food.) They aren't even stocked during the lunch or dinner rush, which is maddening. Just got home from picking up dinner to find we're missing 2 sides and 2 pieces of chicken.

Will never go back, after a poor attempt to take my verbal order in a language called English the girl finally asked what number I wanted. After recognizing the numbers in the game (A #9 - sandwich only) and after three attempts to try to provide me with my order..... still could not seal the sandwich deal. Saddened by all the efforts and still a less than favorable outcome I just requested to have money back. This is where things picked up quite nicely, I received a refund quicker than it took to struggle with placing the order and coaching her along, By another employee standing nearby. And for this we Thank You ! I'll be driving the Jackson Drive in La Mesa or the Santee location next time I need my KFC fix. read more

After a day at the fair, I stopped by KFC trying to feed my kids. Went in the drive through, and the lights was off. Ask her for a meal, abd she said they was closed. Remind you, they dont close till 11pm. Trying to ask her for any deal for my kids, she said we are all out of food. Kinda felt this was because we was black. When i askeds for any specials, she let me know i can go to anther one. I really can't believe this just happened in todays world, KFC should really look into this store. How can they be out of chicken, when thats the main item. This is the worst place KFC to go to, it was not 10pm and they dud not want to serve me. This is the worst KFC customer service we bought a family dinner take out we got home and we got some chicken that looked like it was sitting there for hours no mashed potatoes only two biscuits instead of six and spoil coleslaw! I went to this KFC on my way home from work to grab a bucket of chicken. Didn't feel like cooking. There was a 1/2 inch of grease on the bottom of the bucket and the chicken wasn't cooked fully. Omg gross. I called the manager and she offered to replace my bucket. Brought it to the store and low and behold the second bucket also had half cooked chicken. If I wanted to eat chicken with raw flour under a brown coating I would definitely make it myself so it was cheaper. read more

KFC on Fletcher Blvd, El Cajon, Ca. I went there today after saying that a year ago that I would not go back to KFC ever. I wish I had not gone there again. Here and now I will never go back. I ordered 2 chicken bowls, thought I would try the spicy. The bowls were only half full, there was mash potato's on the bottom, and a spoon full of gravy on the side of the potato's, I am not kidding about the 1 spoon full, lots of corn, the chicken itself was horrible testing, and only 3 pieces of chicken the rest were little pieces of crust breading, and very very little of cheese. We ate the mash and corn and had to throw the rest away. I also ordered 2 chicken littles regular and 2 chicken littles honey BBQ. When I got home the chicken littles were not, they looked like a chicken sandwich, the bread was old tasting, the chicken itself was ok on the regular. The same on the BBQ sandwich but it was only BBQ in the middle not mixed in the chicken like the chicken littles are suppose to be. KFC has gone up in price, quality is at a ZERO horrible, quaintly half of what it use to be. That was a waste of food and $21.00. And Then I usually enjoy it, but there was no dipping sauce, it is probably my fault because I forgot to ask. Assuming that when you order chicken strips you will get a sauce to go with it. Went here on April 11 and ordered a 16 Family Meal. Got home an found all of the chicken cooked at too low a temp so it was really greasy and a third of it was still somewhat raw. Cost me just under $50 bucks. Had to go elsewhere to get more food so I could feed the family. Contacted KFC about the problem and they said they would fix it. WOW! Did they ever. They sent me a voucher for a whole $25 for my troubles!!!! So let's see,, $50 at KFC and another $30 somewheres else, along with more gas and time and $25 will fix it all. I recently went into this location and the manager Jazz was really great. He was really great helping me out with all my questions he took care of all the other customers behind me and was super awesome to all of us. Him and his staff are the only reason I will be returning to this location from now on. Don't bother going here. Surly employees who overcharge. Went in with a friend with two coupons. They didn't want to honor them but the manager finally agreed. Got food and realized they had charged full price instead of second coupon discount price. When I questioned it I was told they did me a favor by honoring the first coupon and handed me a dollar. The manager was a jerk. He just lost a customer over his attitude and 31 cents. I was a walk in. 10 minute wait before I gave my order, 30 minute wait after I gave my order. Walk in customers were being ignored, while the drive thru orders were being processed. I had to remind the front counter staff twice that I was waiting for my order. At least the transients had a dry place to hang out with easy access to the restrooms and soda machine. Customers started shouting for the manager, who was no where in sight. The one front counter cashier looked over whelmed by the number of customers waiting for orders or to give their order. read more

When i came in i received my food and took a seat near the door. I watched as a young man entered and started to talk to a worker about the status of his application. The Hiring manager whose name is Thai (whose name i found out upon leaving) came up and was extremely rude and treated the young man as if he was a inconvenience and unworthy of her time. I would have understood if the restaurant had been busy and it was a bad time, but it was only me and one other man in the restaurant and the staff didn't seem busy for they were all talking amongst themselves. There was a little confusion on the following up process of his application and In a very demeaning tone she even said "I am going to repeat myself, again, are you listening." I cringed in my seat at how rude she was and the embarrassment this young man probably felt. I even hear the staff quote "poor guy" immediately after he had left. I felt so much discomfort that i left not even finishing my food. I feel it is very important to notify you of the kind of people you are hiring to represent your company and the people you have in charge of hiring. I am unlikely to return to that location and that young man in likely to be discouraged and never return as well. i will also be writing a letter to corporate about my experience. read more
