Rudest customer service today by a supervisor named "Monty". He's a joke and should NOT be in customer service. Of course, like many others, my order was screwed up and I discovered it after I'd gotten home. My receipt was correct so it's clear it was their incompetence while fulfilling the order. I called and spoke to Monty, and instead of being apologetic and professional, he decided to give me, THE CUSTOMER, an ear-full of attitude and talking back to me. He had to have been some young kid who has no business holding such a title. Don't worry, Monty, I called corporate and told them all about your piss-poor attitude. They've informed me this will be investigated, so good job little boy! On top of that, how does a KFC run out of thighs and legs by 4:15 on a Tuesday? Went thru Drive-thru tonight and ordered a 30dollar bucket with mashed potatoes and gravy. Told them no coleslaw. They said they couldn't replace it with something else.... so whatever. I said to the guy who brought me my food after I was told to pull around and wait, "It's pretty bad when four cars who came after me all get their food before me." He gave a very unapologetic, who-gives-a-fvck, apology, which was was meted with equal disdain from me. Fast forward 8 minutes to get home, only to then discover the error. Return trip for a refund made the entire experience from order placed to order refunded took FIFTY FIVE MINUTES. Straight. Garbage. I purchased a 30 pc fill up meal, and 3 extra bicuts. Before I drove off with my order I ask the drive up employee to go over my order. First of all I'm not sure how this particular location stays open. This will be the last time I give it "one more chance". Never again. After eating from our three piece meals my wife and I both got sick. She got very sick about 5 hours later and I woke up about 7 hours later feeling very ill. This happened on Friday Sept. 2nd 2022. When I originally pulled up to the business an employee was standing outside and told me that the dining room was closed due to not having enough staff to service both cooking and taking care of customers so I would have to go through the drive through. The employee was pleasant and helpful. Evidently no one showed up to open so they couldn't open until around 1:00 that afternoon. Keep in mind that this was the Friday before Labor Day. Labor Day weekend and fried chicken kind of go together so you would think they would have had all their t's crossed and their i's dotted. But they didn't. I wish KFC had kept their East Bidwell location, where El Pollo Loco is now, and closed this one because this is not the first time we've been disappointed at this location. Again, the employees that I managed to come in contact with during this transaction were very accommodating. I believe the problem lies with the owners or management or both. Zero stars. We arrived at the restaruant one full hour before closing, with a group of eleven people. We were immediately informed that KFC had no fried chicken, and that none would be made. This business was effectively closed during their published business hours. The manager came out as we were leaving, at the request of the clerk, after I informed the clerk we would be unable to stay. The manager offered no apology, cited the need to clean the kitchen, and complained of a high minimum wage. He suggested we buy products besides fried chicken instead. If this business can not afford to operate during business hours, then change the hours. Publish them. Do not say the store is open, if you intend to cease serving product to customers. Patrons should have exactly the same experience throughout the business day, from beginning to end. Chick-fil-A was more than happy to serve our group 20 minutes later, the staff was absolutely cheerful and pleasant, their restaruant was busy, and their chicken was fantastic. However, it wasn't KFC! In addition to this experience, our wait times at 1pm have been as much as 40 minutes before receiving our order. I hope this review helps the owners of this business to be aware of the ongoing issues (if they aren't already), and helps the community be prepared to deal with the lack of product and wait times until they get sorted out. I have always loved the chicken at KFC, and several of their classic sides... I have been a customer for several decades. When food is served fresh, in a timely manner, and if the restaruant and restrooms are clean, and if our service experience with the staff is professional, welcoming and helpful, consistently, being a loyal customer will be easy. They should really change the name to A&W/KFC. KFC is well, fried poultry (or facsimile, thereof) made by a Colonel... with 11 herbs and spices. And it's finger lickin' good. This place is a total Joke, I placed my order for 4 boxed meals and additional two Hamburger with cheese and 3 chicken legs One of the box meals was chicken strips so I told her I need sweet and tangy with that, at first she said they were out then she said they don't have that anymore, so I changed it to barbeque. We were handed our order and the girl was very rude, didn't say a word to us, not even a thank you as I started to drive off my husband said there no napkins or sauce for the chicken, so I wanted to go in, but the sign say you can't so had to wait through the line and when we got up there I told her what I was missing, without saying a word hands me two barbeque and two napkins, I told her for all of us we need more then two. She handed me about five more. Unfortunately we didn't think to open the boxed meals only one of the boxes had nine(9) fries dump in the bottom of the box and none of the other boxes had any fries at all and the chicken strip box only had two strips. Great service I got my meal in a timely manner especially when they were dealing with a difficult customer. A wonderful kid named Kyle was a stand up man politely asking a customer ordering online that he cannot be inside because our lobby is not COVID compliant. The customer spat in face telling him to go away. As a former fast food worker I completely understand. The customer then proceeded to stand up and advance on the employee.
