that time was about 945pm on 5-6-14 i had just got done seeing a movie some guy named Daniel in the drive thru was very rude, I waited over 7 minutes at the window and he did not even take my payment when I informed him that I had waited so long all he did was shut the window on me and gave me my food not to mention i only got one strip in my gocup so they messed that up as well. which is weird because the food was cold so why did i wait so long ? ...the guy daniel was joking around and laughing with his coworker as we waited , i also ordered a half gallon of root beer (which was flat) and tasted horrible. how very rude of this Daniel character the receipt says the server was Johnny, however the name tag who handed me the food and was rude to me said Daniel. This place is a total Joke, I placed my order for 4 boxed meals and additional two Hamburger with cheese and 3 chicken legs One of the box meals was chicken strips so I told her I need sweet and tangy with that, at first she said they were out then she said they don't have that anymore, so I changed it to barbeque. We were handed our order and the girl was very rude, didn't say a word to us, not even a thank you as I started to drive off my husband said there no napkins or sauce for the chicken, so I wanted to go in, but the sign say you can't so had to wait through the line and when we got up there I told her what I was missing, without saying a word hands me two barbeque and two napkins, I told her for all of us we need more then two. She handed me about five more. Unfortunately we didn't think to open the boxed meals only one of the boxes had nine(9) fries dump in the bottom of the box and none of the other boxes had any fries at all and the chicken strip box only had two strips. I work very hard for my money, hell if I give them the opportunity to rip me off again and give bad customer service while they are doing it. read more

Terrible service!! Ordered food at 6:10 there were 9 employees in the store and at 6:30 20 minutes later I was told i had to wait longer ! I complained about having to wait 20 minutes to be told i would have to wait another 15 minutes! I was told "did you see the handwritten note on the window that they were short staffed! 9 employees is short staffed? I was treated rude like it was my fault i didn't want to wait for my food!! Great service I got my meal in a timely manner especially when they were dealing with a difficult customer. A wonderful kid named Kyle was a stand up man politely asking a customer ordering online that he cannot be inside because our lobby is not COVID compliant. The customer spat in face telling him to go away. As a former fast food worker I completely understand. The customer then proceeded to stand up and advance on the employee. All in all I believe they are doing a great job despite the pandemic! My burger was great! read more

Not sure when the change happened but our last few experiences here have been extremely pleasant! Food is fresh and service is extremely friendly! Yay KFC for the total turnaround! My only one complaint would be keep the tables and chairs wiped down more often - in fact, the interior could use an update. Baby steps. :-) read more

I am hesitant to order from this restaurant because when you walk in the store it is filthy. I took the time once to explain this to the manager and he was very apologetic. However, I do get a hankering for fried chicken every once in a while and I figure "How dirty can they make deep-fried chicken?" So I took a chance today and went through the drive-thru. I ordered an 8-piece meal, original recipe, and was informed that all they had were "legs". I said OK and pulled up. I asked the person who helped me if that is the same as drumsticks. He said it was. I asked why they didn't have any other chicken and he informed me that they anticipate the demand and make the chicken as expected. This is about 1:00 p.m. I informed him that it is not rocket science and he agreed. If I go to McDonalds, I never hear "We have run out of hamburgers". It's called "Kentucky Fried Chicken". One would think that they might have chicken. God, I pity the youth of today. They are so unprepared for life that they can't even make chicken. Sad. read more

You know I have had some problems but never had them with Jenifer which is a true leader and a great customer service manager for the company. I can't tell you how much it mean's to have someone like her just care about the customer and not be rude in anyway or fashion. Went through drive thru around 1pm on Saturday. Service was quick. The oil in the chicken tasted a bit overused. The corn was not fresh. The mashed potatoes were a bit soggy. Seemed the food was not that fresh compared to how I remembered KFC. I guess the competition really forced KFC to cut corners. Very disappointed. Will stick with the competitors. read more

Food was just okay, no worse but no better than I expected. What I'm really disappointed in is the service. This is the second time that I order, get a time from the website and go there only to be told it will be at least another 20 minutes before the chicken is ready. What's the point of having a pick up time that you never make? You also need to make sure you check your order. About half of mine was missing. They made up the shortage quickly, but if I had discovered this at home after the extra wait, I would have been a much angrier customer. There won't be another order for this business. read more

After purchasing my wired, Legend of Zelda pro controller with headphone support and mappable buttons for the Nintendo Switch, I deemed it fitting and proper to treat myself to a nice meal at the KFC/A&W establishment on Iron Point Road, oh but what a mistake that was. Upon approaching the window of which to receive my papa burger and cheese curds meal, a short chubby goblin looking figure with poorly dyed hair rudely drew attention to my corpulence which is small price to pay to be a pro Minecraft player like myself and even told me to park in the parking lot and wait for my food to be prepared despite my order being relatively small. Later slightly taller, four eyed, pizza faced looking goblin with greasy hair came up and informed me that I parked too far away and that he would not walk that far to deliver my meal, although a little physical activity would do him some good. Any who I moved my car closer only to have the other goblin from the drive through bring me my meal in an unfathomable mess, fries, tomatoes, and soggy cheese curds were dumped in my back without a care and rudely reached inside my 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and turned it off, then proceeded to walk back inside to bring on out a meal for his next victim. It is surprising how all of the KFCs in the area all have very poor 1.5 star ratings! What has happened? I used to love KFC but the past three visits resulted in the wrong order, unavailable menu items, and/or extremely long wait times. I can't believe the wait was over 30 minutes on a Monday night. Myself and five other patrons decided to ask for refunds. Why doesn't Management plan ahead to accommodate the dinner rush? The racks were empty and anything you order would be a wait. What the heck? I know it is better not to waste food but at least know your customers and trends so you don't run out of everything and fall 30 minutes behind. I am not going to the Folsom location anymore and may just skip KFC altogether next time. I should have just ordered online with Wingstop. read more

I don't often leave yelp reviews. After seeing what a low rating this KFC had, I was scared but ventured forth, as I am a local resident and we were craving KFC for a change. I was pleasantly surprised as the nice lady on the other end of the drive-through speaker patiently took this non-regular's order. Drove up, paid and got my food within two minutes. Boom. Arrived around 1230 for lunch.. Ordered the two piece mixed combo.. crispy...20 minutes for the extra crispy wing.. They would not substitute a breast, so I had to settle for an original wing, which looked like a pigeon wing...lol.. Not my favorite.. The place was not busy so I don't understand why they would not have chicken cooked up..I used work at Church's we made sure we fried enough for right lunch hour rush.. And a twenty minute delay is way too long.. Popeyes and Church's are better, but there's not one close..next time I'll drive a little further for my chicken fix.. read more

This one star is a gift! I wonder if the owner of this location even cares. I am pretty sure that he doesn't as this store averages 1 1/2 stars and the complaints are pretty consistent. I arrived at 7:20 pm, by 7:25 I attempted to order when I was informed there was only four pieces of original chicken and about eight pieces of extra crispy which my family dosent care for. They were out of pot pies and were already cleaning up. I accepted the three piece chicken and biscuit and boy was I sorry. The chicken I would bet all that I know was at least an hour old, and the biscuit had been steaming even longer, can you say glue biscuit! Every one knows the left over chicken is used for the next day's pot pies so why did this either poorly instructed or tight wad owner have his employee lie to me telling me it would take thirty five minutes to cook fresh chicken. I googled how long KFC takes to cook a batch of chicken and every response stated it takes twenty minutes tops! They should never lie to customers and therefore I will never enter this location again. read more

Lots of people are ragging on this place, but it is a KFC, so I don't know what people expect. I will say that Folsom used to have two KFCs, one was where the current El Pollo Loco is, and this one, and this one was always superior to the other one. I have eaten here multiple times, and the food was generally good, served relatively quickly, and the A&W root beer is always good. I have eaten from both the A&W and KFC menus and overall all the food was good, hot and served in a timely manner. I think the negative reviews are from people whose minimum expectations were not met when they visited, but no restaurant or fast food place will ever be perfect, or always get everything right. Given the low wages and high turnover rate, I think the managers at this location do a decent job to make sure this KFC is relatively competitive with the many other fast food choices within several miles of this establishment. read more
