The chicken is absolutely delicious and the team is incredibly kind & will remember you or your favorite order. I want to be more brave and try out their other / new items but for now it's always the crispy with yangnyeom & xtra hot sauce on the side! I also love their lunch specials ($13.99+), it's hefty and a much better value than getting the usual fast food in my honest opinion... I hope to keep coming here whenever I can because I'm always craving their chicken, they're nice people, my time constraints and their quickness, and value! First time ordering delivery from this restaurant. We got the original fried chicken, seafood soup and the beef ribs plate. They were all good! I have to say, this spot really impressed me right from the moment I walked in, the staff were super welcoming and assisted me immediately, which set a great tone for the whole visit. We ordered the 18 wings Yang Nyum chicken, and every single piece was packed with flavor. The sauce had that perfect sticky, sweet, and spicy combo, and the chicken itself stayed super juicy. We also tried the japchae, which came loaded with beef, veggies, and egg plus a very generous amount of noodles. It was one of those dishes where you can tell they don't hold back on ingredients or portion size. They also had a BOGO deal on their fried mandoo, and those dumplings ended up being such a good surprise. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the dipping sauce really pulled everything together. The total came out to around $79 with tax for all three items, which is a little on the pricier side, but honestly felt worth it considering the quality and portions. I noticed a lot of people ordered online, probably a good idea, but since this was our first time, we decided to order when we arrived. We had the crispy chicken with the garlic sauce and also ordered Jab Chae. The crispy chicken was absolutely perfect, crunchy and full of flavor, the Jab Chae was such a big bowl and perfectly seasoned. This place satisfies the Korean food crave aside from Hot pot style. Located conveniently across from Knee Deep brewing Chicken bulgogi is super tender and the japchae. Mandoo and kimchee side ties it altogether! Kim Chee fried rice is not as spicy as it looks but a nice complement to any entree. The new Gochu mayo fried chicken was tasty and spicy so beware! Saturday, 6/21/2025 - Tried TTObongee Korean Fried Chicken. Address is 2791 E Bidwell St, Unit 1100, Folsom, CA 95630. This is located in a large shopping plaza with lots of parking. Upon arrival..... Pros 1) I saw tables outside and people eating outside. There are tables inside. We were the only ones inside eating. 2) There was an order kiosks right by the exit door or you can walk up to the cashier and order there. Cashier was very nice. We ordered and paid, then wait for our foods. They bring it to your table. 3) they also have party trays to order. 4) the foods we ordered were good. Maip Dak Chicken was a little too sweet for my liking, but it's still good. Tempura shrimp and Sodduk Sodduk were good. 5) water tasted fine. Cons 1) none 2) Conclusion Cute little restaurant. Simple. Easy to order, eat and go. Cashier was nice. She took our order and brought the foods to the table. There are plenty of stores in that area to shop after you eat here. read more

Came here after an afternoon of studying at a cafe down the road. I wanted to pick up something for dinner for my husband and I on my home and luckily this spot was across the street from the cafe I was at. I've heard about the Korean fried chicken here before so was very excited! I went inside and the place was fairly small if you were to dine in. I was able to take my order immediately and asked for to go. I ordered the Half and Half Chicken which came with their original chicken and yang nyum chicken. Unfortunately it didn't come with substitutions so if you were to want to mix and match, it wasn't allowed. But regardless, it was fine because all the chickens looked tasty! I took my order and was told it would be 18 minutes. Lesson learned that if I were to order something to take to go from here next time, that I should probably order online or call in my order instead to avoid the wait time. By the time I took my order home, the fried chickens were still hot and crispy! My husband and I both liked how crunchy and crispy the original Korean fried chicken was but the yang nyum Korean fried chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce was definitely our favorite! For the price, we thought it was pretty decent given it came with 15 pieces total and the pieces were huge, especially the drumsticks. I ordered a combo of the chickens to be both drumsticks and wings, but I think next time I would order drumsticks only for all of the pieces. 4 1/2 out of five stars.. I love a good bibimbap, so when I saw that this place had it on the menu, I decided to do a DoorDash. The food arrived quick, and it was a good temperature. I started with the mandu dumplings, which are like a fried potsticker. They were delicious. Nice and crunchy, they had a good amount of delicious filling, and I liked the dipping sauce that it came with. The bibimbap was amazing. The beef was tender, the veggies were not overly done, and the rice was a perfect texture. It was delicious! The only hitch, and the only reason I'm taking off a half a star, it's because again, the egg was overdone. You are supposed to be able to pop the yolk, so it drips down into the food. It didn't happen here. It's a minor glitch. Other than that, though, the food was amazing. I didn't care for the hot sauce that came with it, but I did like the Korean pickled veggies that it came with. Very good. We've been going here since they opened in 2021. Hands down one of the best fried chicken around especially when you dip it in their house sauce! Stopped in for a quick lunch after shopping at nearby Old Navy and World Market. It's a surprisingly small place for a corner location, and a little dark on the inside. It seemed like there was only one person working at the time. She was polite and got things done. We ordered the S1 = 2 drumsticks, rice, japchae, pickled cucumbers, and kimchi. It took a while to get our food. The chicken was piping hot, fresh cooked and not reheated. It was very flavorful, juicy, and crispy on the outside. We were very pleased that we could order the chicken plain (no spicy sauce). All the side dishes were good. It's a very convenient location for a taste of Korean food. Overall for the Korean chicken and 토본기 I think we were at 90ish bucks. We didn't order any alcohol, which I'm sure would have complemented the meal, but wanted to keep the cost reasonable. The food does not come out super fast. They know that and comment they are not "fast" food. But the food is worth the wait. We were there when it wasn't too busy. The only thing I feel that was kind of off, was the commercials. I'm used to that kind of stuff, but they kept repeating them over and over and it gets old while mixing in Kpop. However, it was pretty small portion for the price. - half & half (original & yang nyum chicken): They gave generous portion of chicken pieces. The original chicken was crispy and the meat was still tender inside. However, I wished that it would have more flavor. The Yang Nyum chicken was still crispy when I got home. Happened to walk by one day and just notice this place. I love Korean food so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a corner shop with dining booths and a walk up and order at the counter set up. The moment I walked in my mouth was watering at the smell of the food. The lady at the counter was very polite and nice and had a few menu recommendations as it was my first visit. Great customer service. I had the jab chee, one of my favorites. It's stir fried noodles with some greens and a tasty sauce. I also ordered a half serving of the spicy chicken. Ordered the sweet and spicy fried chicken and the extra crispy. Asked for rice instead of salad and it comes with spicy mayo, radishes, and pickled fresh jalapeños. All in all the extra crispy chicken was fantastic. Well fried, not oily greasy or tasting like old oil. It just needed a touch more seasoning. The other chicken did too.
