Ordered food for pick up. The order was accurate and hot. Everything was as good as you can expect from fast food. The guy who gave me the order was quick and polite. Ordered online, when I arrived to pick up food the guy at the drive thru refused to remake the order as did the manager even though I informed them the food smelled weird, not to mention I didn't get what I paid for. When I called the store the line was busy. I will be contacting corporate and I don't reccomend eating at this location, they are rude and unfriendly. I will return for a refund as well. This restaurant is trash, always messing up an order. For instance we went there tonight and order 2 macaroni bowls not spicy. What we recieved is 2 mashed potatoes bowls, and 1 could not be eaten because it was spicy, also ordered a soda that tasted like it had no carbination it. The best thing KFC can do to improve with their food and customer service is, shut down completely. I don't know what they served me the other day but it didn't taste like chicken. I confronted a manager while visiting the store about an issue with the drinks but they insisted that there wasn't anything wrong with the fountain drinks and that was the red flag I shouldn't have ignored. Secondly after making it home to eat, that was a disaster too. Dried up old chicken that was past its peak time to be served, instead of discarding the food like most restaurants do, they decided to serve it anyway. read more

Absolutely horrible. Took order in drive through. Rude service to begin with! Told us to pull around front. We waited 25 min, I finally walked in and people who were there after me were going out with their orders. One lady said she's been here much longer than me, why can't she get her order? The woman asked what I ordered. She said oh, we are out of mashed potatoes. Mind you, I stood there and watched her make many orders (all larger than mine) with mashed potatoes. I said, I've been watching you put orders together with mashed potatoes, why couldn't you make her bowls? Her response....we had to get out these larger orders! Really, how about first through the drive through gets their order first? That's the way it normally works! Do not go to KFC near 78th and State in KCK. Oh, I also contacted customer support, no one answered the phone so I had to fill out a form on line. NO ONE EVER RESPONDED. I called and they said yes we have your complaint and it's been moved to management. That's all I ever heard from KFC. No apology, nothing. It took a month to get her refund as well. I went to the drive-in and ordered just mashed potatoes (because seriously, who doesn't love those?) and as soon as pulled up to the windows my food was hot and ready. I've been under the weather, so I was very appreciative of how quick the service was! The potatoes definitely hit the spot. Disappointed in the food that was served. I thought we'd go here for a quick cheap meal. We'll I guess we got what we paid for. The grilled chicken was over cooked and dry. They forgot my biscuit for the meal. The coleslaw has a weird taste to it. I used to love this place but whoever the new owner is has let things go. Driving up to an empty Kfc, I think great this will be quick. At the drive thru I was Rudely told to wait. Then asked what do I want! I roll my eyes but proceed to give my order. She asked do you want white or dark I say crispy white. She then gets loud and say we don't have any of thAt. Really?! They close at 10. I arrived at the drive they at 940. 2 cars ahead of me. Heard the agent tell the lady in front of me they were out of strips but still have chicken. By the time I pull up to the window its 4 till 10 and they said "sorry we're closed." I said it's not 10 o'clock. They said our clock says 10 and we are all out of chicken. I said really? If you like chicken, go somewhere else. They just won't serve your here. On Monday I stood at the counter while the drive through staff ignored me and no other employees were available. After about seven minutes, I left hungry. Today, three days later, I decided to go through the drive-through. I sat there for about five minutes with no one taking my order, and I again left hungry. This is the first time I've been to KFC for over a year and now I remember why I stopped. The chicken was not only crispy, it was way over done and hard. Tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. I noticed when the girl was bagging my order she spilled something and had to wipe stuff up. When I got home the gravy lid was not all the way on and gravy was all over everything and pooled in the bottom of bag. Also, the other girl was visibly pissed because there was a customer waiting while the other girl was bagging my order. She used cuss words while talking to those customers, but I do think she knew them. I will never go there again! read more
