I would give a zero, if it was available. I just had a delivery order of the 12 piece, extra crisp, chicken only bucket. The chicken was very overcooked. Chicken was extremely dry, the coating was very dark from being overcooke. You can imagine what condition the wings were like, since that is the smallest size of chicken pieces in an order. All of the chicken pieces were dry. Lasr time I ordered they gave me the original, instead of the extra crispy that I had ordered. I don't know if this is a new owner or new chef or what. I will have to think twice before I order from here again. Its to bad, because we like fried chicken. I tried to call them, but it just went to voicemail, but i did leave a message. The staff were great, friendly. However they have implemented these laminated place mats on the tray. I looked underneath to find crumbs and food particles from apparently several other customers. This means they are not washing the trays in-between customers. Absolutely disgusting. read more

No biscuits? WTF! Today I decided to go back to KFC in Kingston to get a quick family lunch. I get a 16 piece chicken strips meal and another eight piece ( just strips) to round out the order. The person who took my order could have been less of a help but then I would have had get my order myself. Here's a tip.give the customer a minute to think when they come in the door, and don't cop an attitude about it when they ask for one. Finally, I get the bags pretty quick and I think " okay not bad " then I get home and there's no f___king biscuits. You would think that when you spend $65.00 for mediocre chicken they could at least get the sides right. I guess all the pressure of having a single customer was too much for the four or five people behind the warmers. Anyway, that's why I don't frequent this place because every time I go I have one of these experiences. Customer service is something that needs practice. Kingston store. You have a long way to go. Fried chicken great, but the only side dish that tastes good is their coleslaw. No other healthy delicious non-starchy side choices. Their potato choices are horrid. KFC would be great if they would offer more veggie choices for side dishes, and use the Boston Market type of mashed potatoes and gravy, which is delicious and tastes more like real potatoes. read more

I've been coming to this KFC location for almost 9 years! I just went there recently and hadn't been in awhile. The inside had been redone, which seems to be a common trend recently with a lot of fast food restaurants. In the past I'd loved eating at KFC and while other locations had disappointed me, I hadn't had much of an issue with the Kingston store.... However this time was the worst I've experience at this particular location! I decided to try for the first time one of the snacker sandwiches. The piece of chicken on the bun was pathetic! I understand that the food never looks like the picture but there was hardly enough chicken to cover the bun! Also, why offer buffalo chicken if you can't supply blue cheese? Ranch works but really? No blue cheese? Secondly, I've always liked the zesty chicken wrap. I remember the first time I got it, it tasted great and was fantastic! but over the years they've replaced the chicken with more and more lettuce. I felt like my wrap this time around was almost entirely lettuce with the special sauce, though even the amount of sauce seemed limited! Sorry, if I wanted a salad I wouldn't have gone to eat at KFC! Lastly, I also used to love their mashed potatoes with gravy. but they've also cheaped out on that too, for now it tastes faker than ever. I figured they probably got frozen potato or flakes or something but it used to actually taste good, now you can tell it's fake. gross. KFC is still around but they've cheapened everything...maybe it's the economy, I don't know, but the quality (which was okay for fast food) has gone down the toilet hole. read more

I live in the area and I have gone to this particular location maybe 6 time per year over the past 3 years. If you plan on ordering a twelve peice meal (or more) of one type of chicken (say original) be prepared to wait. Ok we want fresh chicken so I am willing.. But just about every time I have gone, they forget something. Potato, gravy and the LAST time the biscuits. When you call (from home) they always say come back and we will give it to you for free!!! It's NOT free-I paid for it already!! I never get around to going back as who wants to pick up gravy for last night's meal!!
