Nice welcoming entrance decorated for fall. There is a nice big bar and some high tops when you walk in and a dining room beyond that area. They had some good looking cocktails on the menu but we went with wine (I'll try the pumpkin martini next time). The duck came with breast, leg and thigh plus pearled couscous and carrots and the short rib was very tender and was served with delicious mashed potatoes and leeks. We had great service and I'll definitely be back for the coconut cake!

Calamari. Enough for entire table and then some. It was delicious.

Dined here for the first time with friends last Saturday. The ambiance is cozy. Old train station. Probably cozier in the winter rather than a nice sunny evening. The service was first class and attentive. The menu is robust. Plenty for everyone. Started with spring rolls for the table. Great dish. Calamari was sampled. The order was huge. The calamari was delicious. My friend tried the filet and loved it. I had a simple salad with salmon. All good. The food is expensive here. That may delay my return. Steaks are 50 dollars plus. I am sure I'll be back but probably for a special occasion.

Great date night spot. Came in with my husband for my birthday l and had such a great time at Solstice. The food was to die for; the spring rolls were so tasty and I loved my stuffed pork loin. We didn't skip dessert, and the coconut cake slice was massive and delicious. Our server Nicole was very attentive to us and did a great job!

Salmon is ok. Brussel sprouts were yummy.

2 of us had dinner on a Saturday evening around 6pm. The restaurant and bar were pretty full, although a couple of bar seats opened up around 6:30. ATMOSPHERE: Inside has a warm feel. Even with the restaurant full, the sound volume was quite low and we were able to have a conversation without raising our voices. BAR: We ate at a table, but the bar looks like a cool place to hang out if you are able to score a seat. There is a good wine selection, however, if you want a wine by the glass the prices are not on the menu. The server estimates how much you will pay. We got the Chalk Hill and she estimated $14 a glass. When the bill came it was $15. Average pour. I ordered a cosmo, light on everything but the Tito's. Our server nodded as if she understood, but when my cosmo arrived it was bright pink and when I took a sip it had way too much lime juice, so I asked if the bartender could give it another try. The next one arrived a better, but this is not a place I would get one again as it was still too sour for what a cosmo should taste like. When my wine arrived, I took a sip and felt a texture on the glass. When I held the glass up there were lip marks all along the edge. Yuck. In nice places, the bartender holds up each glass before pouring, and removes any water spots, but certainly if there are lip marks, that one should be wiped and put back in the dishwasher. SERVICE: Kalya was pleasant and friendly and although I had sent back two different beverages, she didn't make me feel like a jerk about it. She happily had each replaced. FOOD: The pork bun app is fantastic. Great flavor, the pork was moist and had a slight sweetness to it. The truffle fries were disappointing. They were cooked well and arrived hot, but the flavor was missing. Even the garlic dipping sauce was quite bland. The pork chop entree was quite good and a generous size. They happily substituted in mashed potatoes. The salmon was good, but not melt in your mouth good. Several people have recommended Solstice, but for $185 (which includes tip), I was expecting more amazing, but in reality dinner was just ok. Not likely we will return.

I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!

Bartender handled the whole joint on a Saturday lunch. -- Patty Melt: Nice straddling between traditional and innovative. We started with the seafood trio appetizer -- stuffed mushrooms, scallops, and a crab cake -- all delicious. We also ordered the wedge salad, which was crisp, generously dressed, and one of the standout starters of the night. For entrées, the pork chop was extremely flavorful, the baked scrod was a hit, and the jambalaya was excellent and plated creatively in a ring around the rice rather than the usual stew-style presentation. Service was outstanding; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We finished with the chocolate Kahlua bread pudding, which was absolutely mouthwatering. The only downside is the noise level -- the restaurant is shockingly loud throughout, to the point where you have to raise your voice to hear each other. Bread for the table is available upon request, and is sort of skimpy. But honestly, it's probably so your appetite isn't spoiled. For dinner, I got the filet and it was to die for! Absolutely divine! Other people at my table ordered the steak with parmesan fries, scallops, and pear salad. Everyone was impressed. We ended with Espresso Martinis and the Mud Pie for dessert. The pie was INCREDIBLE!
