The chicken thighs were fair. Not good. The pot pie was pretty good. The cheese curds were ere great. The problem was we dined in. The temperature outside was 31 degrees. The temperature inside was warmer, but not a heck of a lot! I wore my heavy winter coat the entire meal and was still freezing. My SO was VERY cold too. We left a little early because we couldn't take the cold any longer. Honest! It was that cold. The woman who greeted us when we came looked miserable. This place is OKAY. It definitely brings me back to my high school days when I use to grab a huge root beer float with an excess amount of soft serve after school. Creamy goodness! This A&W /KFC is a little on the "under managed" side. There were about 5 visible employees working behind the counter with the manager or team lead front and center. The dining room wasn't filled with patrons (2 tables at the most) but what it was filled with was trash. With all those people back there you'd think the manager would send someone out to tidy up. We literally had to wipe down our own table because there were absolutely zero clean ones. I don't usually dine in but I liked the idea of not bringing home trash and crumbs. Besides the lack of restaurant care, which I think is a huge deal because my food might not be getting treated kindly, the food was average. I got the last biscuit and it was rock hard which sucked but everything else we received like the chicken meal with mac, chili cheese dog with chili cheese fries, and floats tasted as expected. Not gourmet but essentially did its job! Our tab was about 20 bucks which I thought was over priced for what we got (2 meals). I'm not sure if I like this place that much because their poor attention to detail and lack of passion isn't worth it especially if someone gets sick from their food. I suggest you clean up shop and start with your management. Kick out the ones that try to be the "cool" manager and let the employees slack & start training the salvageable ones. read more

02-09-21 Ordered 4 legs and 1 breast and a cookie. After waiting 10 minutes I asked where my food was and a boy by the name of Alex told me "just hang on we're cooking it" I actually got 2 legs 2 thighs no cookie and a breast that was in a wet carton. I went to the KFC to get Beyond Nuggets and was told they couldn't make them. I had just gotten some there last week and have gotten them there several times. When I called to find out why I was told a software update deleted the code out of their system and they couldn't sell them anymore. It's really disappointing. There aren't very many vegetarian fast food options and it was so nice to finally have a chicken option. They could have just been honest that they discontinued them, but they are doing a real disservice to those who were looking forward to this alternative. (This is a "combo store"--a KFC and an A&W in the same building.) I love root beer. I don't know how I got to be 27 without finding out this vastly important fact about myself. I could drink a gallon of it. Thankfully, A&W sells the kegged stuff for around $5 a gallon. It DOES taste different (in a good way) than the bottled stuff at the store. Just...make sure you open the gallon before you leave, make sure they JUST poured it. We got one that had been sitting in a cooler for a while the other day and it was flat (boo.). At least the management made it right--replacing it for free. Just a bit of a hassle to drive back to the store (it's way at the north end of Main, near the big walmart). So far, I haven't actually eaten anything there...but oh, boy. I love the root beer. ;) read more

This store rules. There were three employees on site when we visited at 11.00 and all three were incredibly busy but still cheerful and moving so fast they were almost a blur. The store was clean and smelled like a little corner of heaven. Our hostess was Mrs. BJ, one of the loveliest women I have ever met and definitely the loveliest KFC employee I've ever met. We have another KFC closer to our home but I'll be returning here simply because of her. She's the fantasy grandmother we wish we'd had and I halfway jokingly asked her if she'd adopt me. I'm impressed with this store and its employees and KFC, thank you for having the great good sense to have Mrs. BJ in your family. Oh... the chicken's excellent, too. read more

Don't do it!!! Only buy here if you can double check the quantity of food served before you leave. Had 3 orders of the 70 Piece nugget deal and first had 40 pieces, second had 45 pieces, third had 43 pieces. This has been a normal thing with this store. Buy a 12 piece mix and they gave me 11 pieces of which I had one Breast and 5 wings. This is the third time they screwed up. No More Longmont KFC for me. Had dinner here last night while down in Longmont. Probably the slowest girl taking orders I have ever seen. There was a long line of people yet no one else came to use the second register they had to help her out. Took forever to ge through and get our food. The new boneless chicken is good but the pieces were rather small compared to regular chicken. This is my second visit to this store and both times the service was way too slow. Let me start off by saying that I love KFC's food. But, oh Dear, this particular location is really something special. The last 4 orders we placed were take-out and they got it wrong every time. In one of these we ordered 8 chicken breasts and got 4! When we called them they gave us a 5 Dollar coupon. Yes, 5 bucks, which is considerably less than the 4 extra breasts we paid for and didn't get. I am pretty sure there is some sort of law against that. :) Nevertheless, we decided to give them one more try and just eat there instead. That way if they mess up the order, we can fix it right there. Guess what? Yep, they messed it up again, completely forgetting a chicken breast meal. No problem, they can fix it. Right? Wrong! Out of chicken breast, Sorry! It's Popeye's all the way from here on out! Dinner last night at KFC in Longmont, by WalMart. Friendly staff. Restaurant was not clean, soda counter was disgusting. Iced tea dispenser leaked all over. Chicken was different. Not the same breading (we ordered original recipe). Meat was very dark and tasted funny. Did not eat all our meal. Potatoes and slaw were good tho. Did KFC change their breading? their chicken? Never Again. The service was terrible, from the order takers being openly annoyed and hostile, to being completely ignored when THEY forgot to give me silverware. The dining room was the most disgusting I have ever seen. There were no clean tables, and everything had some sort of sticky residue on it. There was one high chair and 2 booster seats for the entire dining room, and all three were disgusting. I will not return to this A&W/KFC again, not even through the drive-thru. Management needs to take a look at how this place is run. I have yet to make it through the drive through without having to wait 20 minutes for food because they are apparently constantly running out and needing to make new chicken. Which, by the way, they don't tell you about. So you are trapped in the drive through line, place your order, and after you pay you are asked to pull forward and wait. Had a HORRIBLE experience here! This is also an A&W. After waiting 20+ minutes for our order, which was nothing special other than no tomatoes our onions on the burger please, we took out good home. My husband's burger was cold and had tomatoes and onions on it. His fries were also cold by then. My chicken was also raw inside. I called the number on the receipt and spoke with the manager, requesting a refund and was told to return to the restaurant. When I arrived, the manager then told me that I should have come with the good that was raw for her to see it. I asked her to replace the order and gave her my receipt. While waiting for the food to be made, others were waiting just as long as we had for our food. It was not extremely busy and staff was standing around. When the manager returned with my order, I handed her my credit card for her to refund my money. She refused, saying that the replaced order was in place of the refund I had initially requested. I started that I had already told her that I wanted my money returned. She had to check with her manager and again refused my refund. I told her I did not want the food anymore and to give me my refund so that I could go get my good elsewhere. She returned with the cash and I left the freshly prepared (albeit probably still raw) good on the table. I will NEVER return to this restaurant. Horrible service! read more

My husband and I went to supper at 7:00 PM ( there open till 10:00 PM) in Longmont Co. Store Number E720486. The first thing we were told is they were low on chicken. I ordered a K6 chicken tenders and my husband ordered a K5 which was suppose to be; 2 drumstick and a thigh, extra crispy, they couldn't fill that order because they didn't have the chicken. What is going on? That is there speciality, CHICKEN, and they can't fill and order because they don't have it. Went thru the drivethru on a Friday eve around 7 - was told I would have to wait for the 12 piece strip meal. No worries, i didn't have a problem with that. Waited over 10 mintues, I was still okay. Got home and discovered 11 strips, NOT 12, and 3 biscuits instead of 4 ... no dpping sauce even though i requested it twice, no butter packes for the biscuits, no silverware or napkins for the sides. When I called to complain I was told I could come back - I said no, it's over 12 miles from my house. I was told they would write my name down for the next time I came in .. seriously? This restaurant is dirty beyond words. I don't think the floor has been truly cleaned since installed. The drink machine was dirty. The trash bins were full. The tables and trays were filthy. How do they get away with this filth. Now, I wonder what the kitchen looks like...and the food coming out of it. Come on KFC, you can do better. read more

My meal was incomplete, they missed multiple sides, and the cookies I used to get my kids to behave while we waited in the parking lot. We ordered 3 of the "box" meals and one 3 strip meal for a total of 12 strips and waited 20 minutes. Stupid me for not checking because when we got home I had to piece together what they packed to make 3 complete meals.
