I went for the first time ever to a Texas Roadhouse last night for dinner and it was excellent! We were seated right away, the waitress was very sweet and friendly, my dinner of sirloin steak plus baked potato and vegetables was so delicious! Kudos to the chef who actually got a medium cooked steak right...it was perfectly medium as it should be!! The only thing that was slightly too much for me was the salt level on everything was pretty high but now I know to ask for light salt in the future. It was still really good! And then we got peanuts to take hone afterward, what fun!! I'm definitely making this my new go to place when I drive to Medford! read more

We are long time fans of TR. We were able to get on the waitlist and were seated quickly when we got a text to head inside. There is plenty of seating inside if you are waiting which is really nice. We ordered our food and salads came out quickly. There was a long break between salads and mains. Unfortunately my ribs were cold when they finally arrived. We had waited so long that I wasn't hungry any longer and it was busy so I didn't want to get them warmed up. I just asked for a to go box. This won't prevent me from returning but it is disappointing. The chefs have temp gauges for a reason. read more

Me and my crew were staying out here in Medford for some work location sites and our hotel is nearby. I took them out to Black Bear for lunch, but now it dinner and they deserve a real more fancy sit down dinner. Trying to please 5 people is a trick, but I've been with there guys and one girl for awhile so I know what they like. Texas Roadhouse is always a good choice, fancy enough, but not stuffy. Most Texas Roadhouses are pretty busy most of the time, especially at dinner on Sat night, so I called in ahead and did the get in line ahead of time thing. If you do this, your table will be ready pretty much when you arrive, just tell the host person, you called ahead and you get in before all those people waiting in line! I like how the steaks are on display and you can pick out which exact steak you want! This is the way to go if you're particular about your steak. Just tell you server you picked out the steak already. We get seated and the tasty bread is served at the table right away. Our server is all bubbly and friendly, I guess they're trained to be. Drink orders were taken and then we ordered our food. I got the ribeye and so did a couple of other guys. One person ordered the full rack of ribs. I ordered a couple of orders of the cheesy potato skin thingies. Five people need two orders! The restaurant is sort of on the loud side, but that's what a Texas Roadhouse is like, not a one on one romantic place ... well, unless you're in high school! Our food arrives and my steak is cooked just as ordered, I got a Caesar salad with it. Everybody liked their food and even the ribs were super tender, so much so the bones fell right out of the rack! Steaks always flavorful, great baked potatoes (ask to leave the heavy salt off), son favors the sweet potato, good chili, and mom likes the Texas Filet Mignon. Free peanuts coming & going. Our number one: "quick, let's eat out and have a fun time" restaurant. The staff clearly value their jobs, very efficient (salads served very quickly), always pleasant and it shows. Just returned to Texas Roadhouse for the first time since before the pandemic early this evening. I can tell you that it was a really great dining experience!! Since I was born and raised in Texas and also ate at Texas Roadhouse restaurants there as well, I really felt like I was "home". The food was excellent! The service was excellent and there were several staff who came by the table. The assistant manager came by to make sure I was having a great dining experiene as well. Very nice dinner with very little wait to get in. The waitstaff is very helpful, and pleasant. Huge PLUS with the gluten free menu with lots options for those who are sensitive. Our waiter Martin, provided plenty of allergy information. The dinner rolls served when we were seated, were amazing. We ordered two salmon dishes and one steak. The salmon dishes were very good with lots of flavor. The ribeye was a good cut, plenty of marbling in the meat and with good flavor. The baked potato was fair, not enough butter or sour cream for the size of the potato. Overall a great dinner and experience. We had Take-Out from the Texas Roadhouse on Fathers Day. As usual, the food was excellent. I had a New York Steak, medium-Rare, Cesar Salad and Baked Potato. My steak was perfectly prepared. The Cesar Salad is one of the best in town. The Baked Potato the classic salted and wrapped in aluminum foil. It was perfectly done and moist. I do prefer my baked potato coated with EVO and herbed, but it was still very good. As always, the fresh baked dinner rolls with cinnamon honey butter were excellent. My wife had the Salmon, Cesar Salad and Sweet-potato. She said it was all very good. read more

We often call ahead for seating, they do not take reservations but they do put you on a list for seating. We have never been disappointed with our food. Our service has always been very friendly. Considering how busy they are the food is served in a timely manner. The dinner salad is great, and the fresh rolls are served warm, plus the bag of peanut a fun thing too. Being that my wifes Birthday weekend was last weekend, we decided to make a trip up to Medford OR this weekend and enjoy one of our favorite establishments. On our way up there we were told through the Texas Roadhouse website that the wait time was anywhere from 0-10 minutes, which for Texas Roadhouse that is unprecedented. Well, not unheard of but everytime we have been to a Texas Roadhouse it has been very, very busy. Well anyways, we get to the restaurant after driving 2 and a half hours we got immediately seated, which we were very pleased of. In the process we got our Rolls, our Silverware and a nice waiter by the name of Braxton approached us to ask what we would like to drink. We both had Half Sweet and Half Unsweet Tea. (Texas Roadhouses' tea is to die for.) So anyways after we got our drink he came back and asked if we knew what we would like to eat. Told him yes, and my Wife ordered a 12 Ounce Rib Eye and I ordered a 12 Ounce Prime Rib. So after getting our salads, a little while after our food came out. My Prime Rib was delicious and cooked just the way I liked it. My wifes steak was a little bit burnt and tough to chew. (Which isnt the normal for Texas Roadhouse, their steaks are normally you bite into a piece and it melts into your mouth) So I told our Waiter about the problem and he went to return the steak and to order a new one. Well about 25 minutes later another steak came out and it was better and more of the melt in your mouth type of steak that we are accumstomed to. Well the Steak Fries with cheese on top tasted old as if the grease that the fries that were cooked in were never changed. So I just disregarded that and so did my wife. However after she was done eating the manager came over and said "How is everything?" To my response was "Since the steak came out not the way that my wife desired how about some kind of discount?" The only reason why I am giving this review a 2 star is because the response of the manager and where I had to ask for a discount. So her response in a rude manner "I think a recook for 25 minutes is an ample amount of time for food to come back out BUT, I'll go check with another manager and see what we can do for you" After about 5 minutes she comes back and gives me $10. It's not the discount that I am complaining about, its the fact that I had to ask on top of her being rude. MIND YOU we drove 2 and a half hours to THIS Texas Roadhouse because of the reputation our Texas Roadhouse in Kentucky has established for us. Very disappointed. They were busy and looked like the place that all of Medford goes to on a Friday night. We ordered a couple of pork chops and ribs online for takeout. The food was not quite ready when I arrived. After waiting a few minutes, the food was mine. The pork chops were okay. They didn't use much seasoning. The chops were slightly overcooked. The ribs were fully overcooked and dry. The bread was the best thing about the meal. Even the corn and the mushrooms were better than the meat. Maybe the peanuts that I will eat one day is better as well. Maybe it was a bad night for them? I may try another Texas Roadhouse during my travels again one of these days. read more

Texas Roadhouse was a fantastic experience. The food was hot and delicious! My girlfriend and I split an order of fried pickles; it was very good. The pickles still retained their flavor and pickle crunch, while the crust was crispy and golden. The pulled pork dinner was awesome. The pork was moist, full of flavor, and the tomato-based barbecue sauce added to the flavor, with a bit of tang and a bit of sweetness. My girlfriend had the chicken fried chicken and it was likewise cooked perfectly with a crisp fried crust and tender chicken breast. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. She worked equally hard at other tables. When we told her that it was our first time at Texas Roadhouse, she let the service manager T.J. know; he came over to welcome us and checked back with us when our food arrived. Great team here and it during dinner rush. The ambiance was enjoyably kitschy. There was sports playing on several televisions, there were mounted animal heads on the wall (pretty sure they were not real), and there were murals of a villainous armadillo (not words I thought I would ever put together). The music was turned up, but I was still able to carry on a conversation with my girlfriend across the table. Overall, this is a great restaurant with great food and service. This was THE place to go on a Saturday night in Medford. We had a short wait and received the rolls right away once seated. We got the blooming cactus (onion) which was good. I got a side salad with my dinner and I thought the portion was generous and delicious. The main course then took a long time. I think something was wrong, it was forgotten, or was sitting there a while. I would have preferred the waitress addressing it, but she just let us sit there. It was about 25 minutes from receiving the salad to when the entrees came. The steak was good. I think for charging extra for sour cream/chives/bacon on the potato they should have put more on it. Took forever to try and get any response. Once the Manager Morgan finally came over she was somewhat helpful but seemed irritated by our issues. She Did try to somewhat alleviate the issue but after taking so long , we didn't feel like eating anything else. She did discount the ribs but damage was already done. Horrible experience. I have been to other location and never had an issue. I don't recommend this location. As a manager , more should have been done. On Saturday, our server Mason was very attentive & the food was DELICIOUS!! Texas Roadhouse honestly never fails with immaculate food and quantity. I recently had a 6 oz Sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes & fries, and everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right--not bland & not overwhelming. A good steak truly needs no sauces or anything, and ya'll do it RIGHT. My one qualm would probably be the wait time--our online reservation got lost somewhere in the system and when we came to check in, we were told to wait like the rest. They said they would group us in with a sooner crowd to compensate for the issue, but we ended up waiting longer than anticipated, and saw folks that came in after us get seated before us. It was only mostly frustrating because we had a 9-year-old with is and I am actually visiting my family from out-of-state, so my time is more limited than theirs. I've eaten at a Texas Roadhouse before. This time I went by myself. I was quickly greeted by two ladies and sat at my table right away. I got there about 4:45 p.m.. My server Martin was at my table within 2 minutes of being seated. He had my Dr pepper, chili bowl and Bloomin' Onion at my table all within 5 minutes. He had my steak, baked potato and shrimp at the table within 10 minutes. Martin checked on me about five times making sure everything was okay. After I started digging into the steak the manager walked up and asked how everything was. Without even asking Martin got me another Dr pepper​ and even remembered I asked for no ice. The music was a tad on the loud side and got even louder as more people started to fill in after 5:00 p.m. The food was cooked and prepared perfectly. With appetizer, soda, tip and main course I paid about $65. Worth every penny. read more

August 2nd, 2024 -- 7:30 PM We had the worst service I have ever experienced in Medford at this restaurant. We had a party of 6. We went here without a reservation on a Friday night. We were seated after only waiting 5-8 minutes. The place was so loud, I felt like we had to shout to have a conversation. Ordered steaks, onion fries, beers, cocktails. The server took 20+ minutes to bring us our water and 30+ minutes to bring alcohol drinks. After taking forever, she brought me the wrong beer. Then said she would get my IPA. For taking so long she should have left the wrong beer as a bonus. We asked for ranch dressing for the onion fries two times. I think she checked in on us one time and never refilled our water and never brought us the ranch. We gave up asking for anything. Our steaks were too salty and mediocre. The server was utterly clueless, and I will not recommend this place to anyone. I never had problems getting proper service at the Eugene location, and the cooks seemed to do a better job at the Eugene location. I will never return to the Medford location unless they are compensating us meals for the whole family. read more

We went in for dinner Sunday evening to do a low key celebration for our 50th anniversary. We ordered sirloin with a half rack of ribs, green beans and baked potato. First off the service was excellent, the food was cooked just how we wanted, and delicious! We were not disappointed! I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered a salad with chicken, but the chicken was noticeably undercooked. It was pretty off-putting and made the whole salad inedible. Plus, the fries tasted like they had been sitting out for hours - definitely not fresh. To top it off, we were a group of five, and they only brought us four rolls. Seriously? But the worst part is that three out of the five people in our group ended up throwing up and having diarrhea about 30 minutes after leaving. It felt like they were cutting corners at every step, and the result was a health hazard. I won't be rushing back anytime soon, and I'd advise others to proceed with caution. Today is a Friday and is also valentine's Day but it was a 3 hour wait and on top of that when we first added our names to the waitlist no employee informed us that is was a 3 hour wait !!! Anyone would have thought an hour or an hour and a half but no we sat in our car waiting because that's what they informed us to do and after a hour we checked back in and that's when we found it was a 3 hour wait we felt like our time was wasted and the employees told us that we will text us once our table was ready (table of 2) and it's been 3hrs and still no response and on top of that Texas road hour is closing in 30 minutes!!!! Found out by 2 staff members & Jacob the manager after 9pm there is only seating at the bar or Togo orders...soooo if your wife is ADA Handicap like mine your not going to get seated after 9 @ The Medford Texas Roadhouse..& yes Mr. Owner as you suggested I DID SPEAK WITH YOUR MANAGER AT THE TIME...it did NO GOOD. Besides the poor service the food was mediocre at best.. You could tell it was end of night freshness... Went to the Medford Oregon Texas Roadhouse...uggg let me say my server Collin was more interested in visiting with his friends than helping my table and friends. Slow service, subpar food and the atmosphere has fallen worse than the Original Roadhouse..that's not saying much...what happened to this restaurant they use to be known for service? read more

I visit Texas Roadhouse once every couple of months with some friends. The service is always pretty good and the waiters are attentive and pretty spot on with my orders. I always love eating the rolls with the cinnamon butter. It's always such a great appetizer. This last visit I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with steak fries. The burger was decent, but nothing special. It has a good flavor and the toppings were a good complement. My fries tasted a little undercooked, but were still pretty good. I'll be back at Texas Roadhouse again soon! read more
