This KFC franchise has an Assistant Manager who is rude and racist. My husband and I stopped in to grab a bowl and one chicken leg. We got home, and there was only a biscuit in the box. My husband called the store and spoke to a female assistant manager (she would not give her name), and he let her know the situation, and she immediately got rude to him. He said he would return to the restaurant and pick up the missed item if she could also make a fresh bowl so it would be warm when he got back home. She told him no and hung up on him. My husband went to the restaurant to talk to the manager; the assistant manager would not give the manager or owner's name. Instead, she continued to be awful and then got so mad she called my husband a n*****. My husband asked for his money back which she complied with. I immediately called the customer service 800 number and filed a complaint. Please do not spend your money at this KFC located on Power Rd, go to another one. read more

I visited this KFC a few months the ago. I went through the drive-thru due to being in a hurry to get home. My order was short by 2 pieces. I called and spoke to the manager and she took my name to replace the missing pieces, but I refused to go back...until today. My wife wanted KFC and this location was on my way home. This time, I went inside, placed my order and checked a few items before I left. I get home and I am short 1 piece. I, once again, called the manager and was, dare I say, a little harsh. The excuse I got was the number of teenagers that are in training, which was along the lines of the excuse I got last time. No apology whatsoever! We hadn't been to a KFC in a long time due to a bad experience. We decided to try this location due to easy entry and exit at the drive thru. The order was taken and delivered quickly and courteously. We got three piece white Big Boxes. It was hot and delicious, 2 big breast pieces, even the wing was big. We had chicken left for another meal. This was a very good experience. It is definitely worth driving a little further again to go to this store. read more

The KFC on Power road hasn't been there to long and when it first opened the food was awesome. Now it's as bad as all the other KFCs in Mesa. Got a 8 piece meal which is now overpriced, and the chicken must have been sitting for a while. It was terrible, and the sides were not even full in the bowls. If 0 stars was an option I'd choose that. Not a busy store when we went, 8 o'clock at night on a Sunday w only 3 cars in the drive thru. Took awhile but that's alright most places are short staffed but when we got to the window there were 3 employees chit chatting and they proceeded to give us about a 50% correct order. Pickles were on a sandwich for someone who had a pickle allergy, no fries in the combo. And somehow got Mac n cheese instead of cole slaw when it was pretty clear that's what we wanted. It does not take much brain power to read what's on a screen and do it right, the receipt was correct I suppose whoever put it together just didn't care to pay attention or something. I am really torn. I am angry at being screwed over by this KFC specifically. I admit to having been a bit rude after ordering online and then when picking up, was notified that they did not have the beyond chicken product that I ordered for my vegetarian wife. I became more frustrated when they could not refund my money and wanted to give me something that I could not use. Then more frustrated when they refused the rest of the order. Then more frustrated when there was no online way to address having this branch just steal my $60 order with zero attempt to rectify. Luckily, Candace with corp customer service was able to help after only a 5 min wait of listening to elevator music. So, I did finally get a promise that I would get a refund and only wasted 1 hour of my day. I feel bad that this branch had to lower their staffing standards so low. I assume the people they hired are wanting to work, which is a positive aspect for them. I realize that we live in a different time when customer service is no longer something that we have a right to expect. I do know that Domino's, BK, Jimmy John's, and numerous other fast food places are doing a lot for customer service, and while I no longer have a right to expect decent service, I will only give my business to locations that offer it. I do not want these individual fired. I hope their families frequent this location so that this branch can afford to keep them on. I was happy to see this location open fairly close to my house. I went through the drive through and ordered 2 pot pies. I was told they only had one but if I wanted to wait 22 minutes they could have another one ready. 22 minutes. I said no thank you and I'd have the one they had and was considering something else. The girl was very rude and was not at all accommodating. It was like she was annoyed that I had the nerve to come to her place of business and cause her to have to work. Because of her attitude I decided to just order the one pot pie that I promised my wife I would bring home for her. If it wasn't for that I would've canceled the entire order. I will not be coming back to this location. Disappointing. They would've gotten a lot of business from us. Maybe that's why there are not too many KFC's around town anymore. read more

Have this location multiple chances, first visit stood at the counter for 10 minutes before we were helped. Was completely ignored while all they did were drive thru orders. Second visit went through the drive through and half the order was missing. Stopped by to eat in and the dining room was closed. Just a note on the door that said drive thru open. read more

I used the on line order process for pick up so my food would be done and ready for me when I got there. The app said it would be ready at 5:48pm. I arrived at 5:55 and of course they hadn't even started it yet. To add insult to injury, the kitchen staff was sitting on a stool looking at his phone and doing nothing that resembles actually working or preparing food orders. He even looked right at me when I got there and then went back to his phone. This guy need to be fired ASAP. But I know these businesses can't find enough employees so I'm sure he'll be there for awhile. Eventually someone came to the front counter and asked to help me. When I told her I ahd made an online order she took my name and then found my order in their system. That's when they finally started to prepare it. Sadly when I did get my food and went home it turned out to be terrible. It was dried out and barely warm. And the biscuit was unbelievable. It was so hard and obviously old it could be used as a weapon. I will never go to kfc ag. This is a very new store so I hoped it would be a better experience than previous stores in my neighborhood but sadly it wasn't. Kfc is definitely not trying to put out quality food anymore. I had placed an order for a 16 piece tender bucket family meal. Not once was I told that that was not available. And savanna was completely rude at the drive-through she had an attitude the whole time like it was an inconvenience that I was there placing an order.And when I came home I received a bucket of bone in chicken. That the sides that I had ordered was one fry one mashed potato and one mac & cheese. To then realize that I was charged extra for french fries when the meal came with three sides .When I called the store to inform them they had sent me with the wrong food the person who answered the phone was in the background talking to somebody else telling them I don't know what the fuck she wants me to do. Then got back on the phone and said hold on let me get my manager. When the manager Alicia got on the phone I explain to her that I have received the wrong order and she told me that a 16 piece tender meal is not available so she's not sure why they didn't let me know that . I explain to her that whoever answered the phone was very unprofessional I heard them cussing. She then told me she's sorry she can make me tenders if I wanted to come back and pick them up. The fact that I just spent $50 and my whole order was incorrect just to be told I can come back and pick up tenders when I was just told that that wasn't available it's completely frustrating. I let her know that I could just bring all the food back I no longer wanted it after having a horrible experience over the phone and looking at the chicken I did receive it was still pink I just wanted my money back. I did not trust that I would go back there and be treated with respect nor get food that hasn't been handled properly. I did not feel comfortable receiving another order after hearing the conversation that I did in the back round I'm being treated the way that I was during the visit there. She told me that is something she couldn't do. This has been the second time at this location that I have been treated this way there is always attitude from each person that works there. We had not visited a KFC in awhile so this past Thursday decided to try the new location. The store was nice and clean when we walked in. There was one gentleman waiting for an order and my wife and myself. We stood near the counter for awhile before the gentleman said we needed to get closer and get someone's attention. Trying to social distance a bit we stepped closer and patiently wait. Three different individuals looked directly at us, didn't say a word and went on about their business. Finally a young lady came towards the counter and wanted to know if we had a question. I said no, we wanted to order. She apologized and said she thought we were there for a pick up. To be fair, we received our correct order in a reasonable amount of time and it was pretty good. As we were finishing up, another couple walked in and waited without anyone saying anything to them. This was about 4:30 pm. The couple waited about 5 minutes or so. The lady that finally helped us told them they couldn't be helped, the dining room was closed and they needed to go through the drive thru. When the couple pointed out there wasn't a sign or anything saying it was closed they were told there should have been a sign but they still couldn't dine in. Another employee hand wrote a sign they taped to the door simply saying "closed". A different customer came to the door to complain about an order that had been placed. The lady who identified herself as the manager and the man (who was upset due to KFC's lack of concern) had a brief conversation. He left and when she got back behind the counter all the employees in the back started laughing.
